What about working out prior to embryo transfer? I just had unsuccessful transfer. And I was working out till the last day prior to the transfer. Could that be a reason for the failure of implantation? Please advise

The endometriosis all the other terms is something new to me. With me being a black women living in Mississippi my previous obgyn told me I was too complicated for her to help me. So I haven’t been no other obgyn since that visit. I’m glad I found your RUclips channel.

6 years trying for #2. Diagnosed with unexplained infertility. 9 failed iui. Just had an abdominal laparotomy to fix adhesions in August 2021. I have never had a positive test since my son in 2013.

Tilted/retroverted/retroflexed uterus is interesting as well as adhesions. Could there be adhesions in the uterus from prior pregnancy/birth preventing implantation? What about luteal phase or progesterone deficiencies? I’m 40, had my 1st child full term after being on bed rest and progesterone suppositories for incompetent cervix. Current doctors haven’t implied anything about hormone deficiencies or physical abnormalities with any of my reproductive organs, but I feel like unless you specifically ask they don’t tell you or you don’t know if it’s been ruled out. I did 6 cycles of clomid without success and now just trying to go natural and focus on lifestyle changes to boost egg quality. Thanks for your videos in giving me hope that I’m not too old for things to happen naturally.

Hi Dr. Sklar, I just had a first failed FET. I have somewhat some reasons to think I might have an immune system illness because I have a few food intolerances, I don’t really respond to Botox (and apparently it could be my immune fighting too much) and I get a lot of side effects to many vitamins. Is immune testing justified at this point knowing I only have one euploid and one low mosaic left? Thank you

These are hidden infections in the uterus and possibly the vagina. I was not implying Lyme, CMV, EBV, etc ...

Thanks for your content, it has been extremely informative!! Would love if you can talk about positions of the ovary/fallopian and if there are any issues. Was told by my obgyn that my left ovary is behind my uterus. He says this does not contribute to fertility issues, but I would love to get your perspective Dr. Sklar.
I do have a video that discusses (actually 2) the position of the uterus. You can search for it. The left ovary being behind the uterus is not an issue assuming that the tube is also there to catch the egg.
Hi dr marc. I am from aus and have had 3 chemicals from 3 tranfers. I have had hysteroscopy and laparoscopy amd all looked hood although i had a little endo removed and partially blocked fallopian tube, other didnt take die. I have also a small septum. I keep raising my concerns around why they keep failing and they just put it down to embryos. I feel like there is something else going on. What are your thoughts? Anything you can suggest i can ask to have checked?
Hi doc ...very low amh if 0.08 ..high FSH..underwent 3 IVF cycles. Embryo arrested at 3 days . Did stem cell 2 days back...will do IVF again after 1 month..hoping for best!!
Can you talk about progesterone and now to naturally increase it, also what could cause low progesterone? I've recently found out through blood tests that I have low progesterone but all of my other hormones are great. I also have very low iron reserves and low b12 (vegetarian for the past 3+ years) and a slightly under functioning thyroid. My doctor gave me a herbal supplement to help raise my progesterone but I'm wondering if the other issues I'm dealing with stated above play a role. My period is also very irregular and has gotten more irregular since I had a miscarriage late last year. Finding answers is so difficult. If you have any thoughts, I'm all ears.

so i was told by my RE that having Hydrosalpynx in your tubes can prevent implantation. I just had both tubes taken out due to that. Ive had three implantation failiars. two of which were chemicals.

Infections can happen for many reasons. I would make sure you do some testing to see if this is an issue for you.

I have just had a hystoscopy and DNC done yesterday as having issues with heavy and painful periods, ruling out Cancer or any other issues, but something I was told and knew about was that I have am very thin endometrial lining. I am about to embark on known egg donor IVF but want to know along with your advise on improving lining what can doc offer too? Or am I wasting my time.... I am 45 and have been trying on and off for 10 years now. Have blocked right tube.
I would like to think that your REI can support this and improve your lining. If they can't, I would consider adding in acupuncture, some herbs and PRP.
Had tubal reversal done in December of 2020 and I've had numerous chemical pregnancies up to this time Feb 2022. I recently had an HSG test done in Jan 2022 and was told my right tube was closed but the left side was good. I also have been diagnosed with MTHFR both types so was wondering could implantation issues be due to that? I feel like it implants just enough to give me a faint + but only lasts 2-3 days then I start cramping and spotting til full flow comes out. My levels one time started out at 16 and only went up to 56 then I miscarried. Waiting to see my RE in March to see what the next step is any recommendations you would share with me to give my RE would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I was told the same thing about progestrone. My progesterone was low when i had a chemical loss.
progesterone is low because on an ongoing MC; it is not a cause, but more like a consequence

Hello Dr. I was told by a fertility doctor that I have fluid in my uterus and endometriosis, so I want to know if the endometriosis is cause of the fluid in the uterus and what medications can I take to make it go away?
What treatment did they offer you? The fluid may be a result of the Endo but not always. You need to go back to your doctor to discuss the treatment options you have.

Hello, I am not sure if this is correct. I was told that they would want to do a sono where they scrap a small part of the uterus to check for inflammation. Is this the correct thing to do if they want to check for uterus lining inflammation?

I have 1.09 Amh levels at 30 and The rest of my hormonal levels are fine. I tried to conceive for 2 years +. I got my tubes, thyroid checked, checked for infections.. all came out fine. I recently did 2 round of ovarian stims with Gonal, and I had only 2 follicles after 1000 Gonal - 10 injections with 100. Doctor told me I have premature ovarian aging and that the quality of my eggs are probably low. But I keep wondering if it isn’t something else wrong also since I never got a single positive pregnancy test .. I am thinking maybe it’s a hidden infection/inflamattio that prevents succesful implantation. Question: if you have fertilisation with a low quality egg, can it get implanted and later on cause miscarriage?

I've recently had a failed fresh transfer and a failed FET. I am 37 years old, had multilpe miscarriages (fell pregnant twice quickly and naturally 3,5 years ago). Had a molar pregnancy and trophoblastic disease. As a result of the D&Cs I have Asherman's syndrome. My gyneacologist is happy with a lining above 2 mm, I was surprised. Last time my lining was trilaminar and 5,6 mm. Our embryos aren't tested, so I don't know of I have implantation issues or embryo issues. From our first IVF cycle we had 5 follicles, all fertilized and they all made it to day 5.
Is it likely that it's an implantation issue?

A 2mm lining is NOT sufficient. Seriously. 😳 I don't know the name but they can inject you with a "GLUE" that makes the Embryo stick when they to the transfer. It costs extra (maybe $400?). I remember watching a RUclips video of a woman who finally got pregnant because of the extra syringe. I'm sorry I can't help you with the actual name.
Also Check your estrogen. I think that's what makes it thick. You can supplement, but I recommend you to increase it naturally. There are tons of videos here on YT. Like be feminine! Let your man do stuff for you and receive. Whenever you do that his testosterone will rise and your estrogen👍🏻 good luck
I’ve been trying for the first time in all of my adult years. I am 34 and I’ve been trying for 6 months, I know most will say that, that isn’t long enough- however, I’ve never been pregnant or tried to be. I’ve never been on birth control and I just thought that it would happen instantly. Last year a polyp (just 1) was found by my gyn and removed during that visit. I visited the doc again this year and no more polyps. I had iron deficiency but began taking iron meds and my doc says my levels are normal. Now I will say that my periods are pretty heavy but that is all that’s a problem with me. Is there anything I should be doing or getting checked out so that I can successfully become prego ?

Hi, if your ovulation is that early in your cycle, your issue can be stemming from estrogen dominance. Your progesterone might be low, too.

I’ve had one miscarriage at 11.5 weeks. it’s almost becoming impossible for embryos to implant. I’ve had all the invasive test, hysteroscopy was done today nothing is found… I am due to have embryo transfer end of march 2022 is there anything else I can do to make sure embryos stick. I’ve even used glue in past, taking regular folic acid and vitamin d supplements.. I’ve had immune test, clotting tests etc. o diagnosis are given for failure cycles.
I am sorry to hear about your struggles. I would be looking at doing a ReceptivaDx, ALICE, EMMA, vaginal microbiome, and ERA test.

My doctor did a hsg in January 2021. He told me that my tubes are blocked. He also told me that I had a few scar tissues. He did some test and said I had an infection so I was prescribed medication. In 2019 I had fibroids removed . I am still trying to get pregnant. Please tell me what else can I do?
This is a start but if your tubes are still blocked, which I suggest you test again, then you will need IVF.

I just had my 5th miscarriage in a row, ( in just under 2 years) I’ve had 6 kids. Never had a miscarriage until after I had my 5th baby. My 5th baby was also my first c-section, I had a miscarriage between my 5th and 6th, had another csection.
Is it possible there is a link between recurring miscarriage after csections?
My most recent miscarriage was at 13 weeks.
Possibly, but I wonder what else is going on. I would make sure to do more blood work and to have your uterus evaluated in more detail.

I am calling to schedule an appointment with a new OB/Gyn to see if we can figure out what is going on. I was hoping for one more baby but I may just have to be done, I always wanted 10 kids. I’m too old to get there now and I’ve lost so many that I don’t for see even one more…. The baby turned 3 yesterday, and since having her, 5 of my babies have gone to heaven, seems so weird to me, that I could just have a baby anytime I wanted until I couldn’t!
@@lirpa1981 At 41, egg quality is always a factor. If you aren't already, I would start taking supplements that improve egg quality like CoQ10. There are plenty of videos on improving quality.
Should couples also not have intercourse during two week waiting period?

I am 36yrs old never pregnant. Going through fertility treatment. My amh is 3 and husband sperm quality is also very good. Due to high prolactin I was asked to take cabergolin. Then before iui my prolactin was 1.8 which the doctor was happy as body is reacting to medication
Last cycle did my first IUI
1)follicles were 2 and each were 20 and 22
2)endometrium lining was 8mm
3) during iui my husband sperm count was 39 million
4) after 7 days they tested my progesterone and it was 24.9 pg/nl
But my iui failed. I have endometriosis but mild.
What to do … please please guide me

Doc implantation is my problem and I kn it, I ovulate between 10 to 12 day of my cycle, after that between 19 and 2oth of my cycle my breast will be heavy and soar breast also sneezing ,the next is like some kind of sign in my womb or movement I don't kn how to explain it, the next day been 21st day of my cycle all these symptoms will decrease as if something left my body, these I have been noticed for the past 4 months am tracking my ovulation. I believe I conceive during ovulation but lost it at implantation. I was diagnosed with cysts at my left ovary 20 mm and and primary Adenomyosis. I do have a light pain during menses only on the first day. Some months it will come without any pain.
I am sorry to hear this. Just based on your comment I will say that you are ovulating a little early. The adenomyosis is also a concern and needs to be addressed. This can impact implantation.
