I live in Tucson AZ and it gets to be 110 deegrees F (43.3 C) or more in the summers here.
So I don't have to worry about sunburns (because it's too hot to go outside).

My worst sunburn was in the summer of 2019 going into my freshman year going to the beach in Florida and I didn’t think I had to put sunscreen on my feet but put sunscreen on everywhere else and when I went to the car my brother with tennis shoes on and me with no shoes on, he accidentally stepped on one of my feet which caused that one to open and when I got home I got a blanket and covered up on the couch and I was going to get up but my blanket was stuck to my foot that was open and I don’t remember if my phone was with me so I could call her or text her phone to help me or if I actually had to ask her without my phone but it was one of the two and at some point I was given a big white bandage to cover both of my feet so I could wear shoes and wouldn’t get my foot caught on my blanket and it took 2-3 weeks to heal and it was painful and was the worst sunburn I have ever had and a few years later I found out that the sunburn I experienced that day was a 2nd degree burn and it completely adds up with what I experienced so I was able to tell and the picture of 2nd degree burns made it obvious too
I'm pale as a ghost to,sometimes I get sunburned but I never been as bad as you,but still,and last year whenever I was out in the sun my skin got itchy with a patch of red bumps,I think it's called heat hives or heat rash
One thing that makes me glad I’m not a man is that I don’t have to deal with sunburns on my back or stomach, or at least bad ones, my sunburns are most of the time on my face kinda and my legs and arms because my swimsuit is a one piece, unlike guys are basically wearing shorts, some obviously wear shirts too but it didn’t save my pale brother from sunburns even tho he wears shirts and shorts and tennis shoes to the beach and he’s the palest person I’ve met ever, he’s so pale that he can still get sunburns when wearing normal clothes to the beach
I got third degree burns from sunburn
That was not a fun time

Once I drove across the country trapped in a minivan with nothing to do, full of people who couldn't get along that kept bickering, and it was over a hundred degrees outside with the AC broken. Thanks for bringing back those wonderful memories. Great video by the way!

This video captures Florida perfectly. One time I went to the beach with my mom and a friend. We were going to spend 15-20 minutes on the beach together then go to the pool in my grandmas building. My fried goes home, I go to a party. On the beach. We ended up staying on the warm sand and cool water.(keep in mind I rebelled every 2 times my mom put sun screen on me)When my mom checked the time at the end of the party, she realized we spent over 6 hours during the hottest part of the day outside! This was on Sunday and I had choir the very next day I wore a pink long sleeve shirt that felt like microscopic chicken wire and a brown corduroy dress. I dot go to the beach amy more because of the mark that day left on me...literally😂looking back I laugh at my stooopidity
Not only that but the dynamics of the reflection factor; solar energy reflects off the waters surface and is magnified multi=fold; be thankful you weren't in the sea too (I'm still trying to get red of my last bikini shadow after pulling that stunt...)
I didn't have it that bad, but I had sunburn on my upper back and shoulders. Which was piling as will. Took a lot of aloe and a week to heal😥😩

I'll tell you a good sunburn treatment. White vinegar, preferably chilled, applied to a fresh sunburn will speed up healing. The sooner you put it on the better. Like I said, if it is chilled, it will feel good on your sensitive skin. Yes, you will smell, but not for very long. I don't have a clue why it works, but I have had a number of sunburns in my life, and they always heal much faster if I use vinegar than if I don't.
I actually stayed most of the day in smoldering heat and still didn't get sunburned.... I'm also pasty skinned
I went on a cruise and went swimming in some water when i was nine. I didn't know the water was salt water and never showered the salt off. I got burned so bad I started crying from the pain and I couldn't walk properly, and my skin was peeling also. I didn't have the luck of getting the peeling skin off my body by the time I got back, and all my friends called me a lizzard in class.

i have to put extra sunscreen on because i have very easily sunburnable skin (i live somewhere where the temperature gets up to 40 celsius average, 50 in a heatwave and *i'm being serious about that* in summer)

I went out side for 1 hour at a water park and put on sunscreen and I got such a bad burn that my skin was peeling... and every time my friends would high five me or cheese neck me I screamed and was in pain for hours
Also I forgot to mention that I was flakey and it was just so bad that every time I sat on the couch for over 2 hours or more I would leave a pile of peeled dead skin. Also I’m really white so I’ve never tanned, it’s either white or being a lobster
