Great video Arroz. There was enough “action” as a small episode of a soap opera or drama series on TV. LOL Great job narrating for us. I love how Reddy tended to every inch of Dinky’s tiny body. She’s such a good Mom and this was more stressful to her than her baby I think. Glad it resolved quickly & she got a Sweet Potato 🍠 Thanks so much.

Nice escape move for Dinky. And right into a well-deserved milk coma. Bossy is being what she is: the boss. Gotta admit that Reddy is the best mom in the troop. Her kids are always well cared for, spectacularly clean, very smart, and make it to adulthood.
I don’t think, i have ever, in five years of watching our troop, seen Bossy SO, very upset!

wow my first time seeing someone standing up to bossy well done reddy and taggy, reddy didn't move after getting dinky back until she had to move by bossy, taggy wasn't letting anyone touching his dimpy well done dad.
It looked like Dinky was biting her (but he wasn't) or maybe grabbing Bolly in a way she didn't like. She kept jerking away from him in that "WTF" way when Mums are weaning their kids. Either Dinky isn't the brightest bulb or he's a genius. Let Bolly know what it feels like to *really* be a Mum. And that he did- boom! Game over. Bolly really didn't even try to hold onto him!
You captured an amazing scene, Arroz- yet again. Thank you for sharing this with us. I don't know how you manage to not only, intuitively understand when the sh** is about to hit the fan, but then you also manage to track the kidnapper well into the trees and back down, AND catch the hand off/return. You are an amazing cinematographer!
p.s. it was kind of nice to see Bossy bitch-slapped, even if it was by a dude ;) She's really been unbearable lately. Maybe she's pre-menopausal (I speak from experience lol).
Bossy has had that coming for awhile! I was happy to see Taggy stick up for his daughter!👏👏. It seems like Bossy cares for no one but Bossy.🤨
I think Dinky was trying to nurse Bolly. I've seen other monkies do that jumping. It's very uncomfortable to a female without any babies.
You are so right about Arroz. Any project he tackles becomes a testament of perfection. Not a single one of the Cambodia boys even knows the meaning of the word.

It never fails to amaze me how (virtually) all babies grip so tight that Mom (or kidnapper etc) can literally fly through the air knowing baby will just stay with them. Amazing!

Bossy’s behavior is such a disappointment. She should have disciplined Bolly for kidnapping Dinky and yet she continued to harass Reddy and kids. Well, what goes around comes around.
Bless Dimpy for trying to help her mom and baby brother. The look on Dinky's face when he first got back to Reddy just made my heart melt for him. I know that all of the alphas have the top tier for food, etc but some of the alpha females seem a lot more easygoing than others like Bossy. She definitely lives up to her name.

A perfect ending, all of Reddy's family back together and taking comfort in each others presence after the stressful events. Dimpy is one of my Monkey Hill favorites, a great big sis who's always very protective of her younger brothers and it was nice to see her get some needed reassurance from Reddy. The poor girl looked tired out from her ordeal and sweet little Dipsy gave her some brotherly love by grooming her. Meanwhile baby Dinky is the picture of contentment back in the safety of Reddy's arms. Gotta love Reddy and her family. 🐒❤️🐒

5:00 ... I know he isn't very old, but Dinky is one very small baby. And I don't know why, but this little guy just doesn't bug me the way Dopey as a baby did.

Taggy does have his merits it seems. And poor Reddy, she just hates for anyone to touch her young ones.
I find it so calming watching this troop I could almost fall asleep. I have seen the videos pirated from Chinese tourists of macaques on a mountain on the mainland. It’s like Dante’s Inferno. There seems to be no Alpha male or female most of them including the infants have horrific injuries. Arms torn out scalps torn off eyes and limbs missing. Babies mouths so violently torn open by an adult to get food it’s ripped the flesh back to its ear. They fight constantly. Seem to have few mothering skills dragging their babies around by the arm. It’s a violent and bloody anarchy. I can only guess they are dumped pets or lab monkeys. There is one female particularly sweet and pathetic she is brain damaged and has trouble with motor skills so she keeps dropping her food. She has a funny sounding bark and makes strange faces. I like watching her she’s very sweet . Then off she lopes shaking a back leg as she goes never walking in a straight line but eventually makes it to the hill and disappears.
I could be wrong but I am of the belief the reason the mom lets the baby suckle after an ordeal like this is because it comforts both mom and baby as well as restrengthen the bond between the two.
Sylvie was dragged. Maybe that’s why she was more upset than Dinky. Reddy’s sure flipping out.
She was well upset before the dragging but the dragging didn't make it any better.😊

Wow the only reason Dinky got away so easy is because he was so calm and Bolly got bored with Sylvy she was freaking out so much and that made it a game for Bolly that's why she was dragging her around so much anyway about Mrs Bossy she is such a diva she deserved Taggy coming after her it was over so fast tho and another thing that is so sweet of you to give Reddy a sweet potato well got to go now until next video love them as always love,love,love❤
Mom is not happy, it's not easy for the females that got fixed. I thought they had to ask Mom first to baby set. This is more like a kidnapping. Well that was excitingly happy to watch. Thank you.

Reddy kids are smart. It’s like they had the talk if this happens you do this. If this other situation happens do such. It’s as if they are almost prepared for life early. I believe she takes the time to teach them. Dinky did not stand around NOT even a half second he just took off running.

It is a game to Bolly. Bossy raises her kids to be bulies. It's not enough for them to be the Alpha females family. They're bullies. From Barney and Barry staying in the troop well past their expiration date and taking the defacto Alpha male slot (Grandee, while he is a very caring Alpha has been a weak Alpha for several years now). They are the ones that kick the adolescent males out of the troop earlier than some are equipped to handle being outcast (some don't make it.). To Dy and Bolly being the reigning baby kidnappers and all around baby abusers in the troop.
Bossy doesn't care that her kids disrupt the troop dynamic. They are the Alpha family and they can do what they want with virtually no repercussions.
Way to go Taggy. Nice to see Bossy put in her place occasionally. Even if for just a short while.

Good job Dinky, kept himself together long enough to free himself. Taggy comes to the rescue like the rock star he is and lays down some rules. Whether or not Bossy is following them is up to debate.. 😆

Least Dinky doesn't seem too upset. And yes it is likely just Bolly pulling rank, this happens much more often with Long tails however. Bolly gave him a bit of a stern glare then let him go. He didn't seize shit lol, she let him go. How do you think Dopey would of reacted to this?
