I like these quick cheap builds where you don't do it 100% professional. I find it more interesting, more relatable for what most of us could do on our own, and really all a truck like this deserves. Obviously do it right for nicer vehicles, but these are fun videos too. Looks good!

I agree with others that I like seeing these quick builds on your everyday vehicle. Nothing fancy just good old blue collar labor and grit. You’re also teaching thousands that anything is possible if you put your mind and heart into it. Great job Ben!

You can fairly easily add a Dodge/MOPAR OEM backup camera to this truck, especially since you already have a uConnect/MyGIG display headunit. It would be a nice way to keep things completely factory looking, and you also get the added benefit of "dynamic gridlines" which adjust during steering. You can purchase the kit that comes with the required wiring harnesses and the camera already installed in the tailgate handle and everything is just "plug and play", you just need to have a scanner or a programmer from the dealership to hack into the uConnect/MyGIG headuint via OBDII and activate the backup camera feature for it to work. I've only watched other YT videos on adding it to the RAM15000, but I have done this with serveral Jeeps and Grand Caravans from the same era with the same factory radio and it works perfectly!

Only bad thing I'll say is that if you want it to look complete you either need to add the pinstripes back to the repainted fenders or you need to get rid of the pinstripes on the rest of the truck

Front OEM fender trim missing too, since it's already pass 200k I hope they take care of the "auto grenade" roller lifters otherwise they will bite you a$$... I mean your cams! Do your maintenance religiously and you will dodge the evil "Hemi tick" for a moment 😵‍💫 Good job sir!

Nice work man! Especially the speed you pulled that off, and what a score for a Laramie . You could sell that one and maybe buy 2 more for that price!😂😂 ive been doing this for 40+ years and thats a super quick turn around, sure you have mirrors and foglights etc and maybe a sensor or 2 left. One thing i will warn you about modern dodge vehicles, and this is all of em, if anything has disturbed the TIPM ( underhood fuse box) youre probably looking at a new one, and they are quite expensive and have to be married with a factory scanner to the pcm vin # otherwise nothing will work. So if theres a crack in the plastic box around the TIPM, seal it up with clear or black permatex to keep water and corrosion out. Even a little dirt can short one out. 👍💯

Good work Ben most of the trash comes off you, so get a disposable paper suit for the next job, and if you can get a static gun it will cut your trash down to minimums and you will be able to to do paint booth quality without a paint booth. Trasj ib base coats you can nib out trash in clear coat bury it as you see it and it will then wet sand and polish out.
