I love your unboxing videos!
lol, thanks!
I am picking up my C2800 today. Can’t wait to install and configure the unit. Enjoy!
Picked one up last week. It’s awesome. Love the new phono stage. I traded in a c2600
@@jenkman61 how is the phono stage and do you like the overall sound? I am considering the C55 or C2800. Thanks
@@MikesVinylExperience love it. It sounds so much better than the c2600 I traded in. I also upgraded my TT to a Technics SL-1210g from a Rega p8 so I could use different cartridges, plus it’s a direct drive. Due to the new phono stage configuration the C2800 uses two less tubes. And the two phono inputs can be assigned mm or mc.
@@jenkman61 awesome!!! Thank you.
I have the C2800 version and it is awesome. The ability to biamp with it is a game changer.
I am waiting for a while now, a direct comparison between C53 to C55, and more specifically the C2700 to the C2800 (sound comparaison)
i love nice things, even if i can’t have them for myself
Years and years of practice to get that quick. Very Fast, Very Good and then Very very very Loud 🔈🔉🔊
I love it 🇩🇰😍
This video trigger me but I wanted it anyway; I like you guys that much! 🤣 Glad you're back on your feet, Adrian!
lol, thanks
Unboxings are fun.
Yeah, for little children…not for experienced grownups
I ordered 3
Can you link Mx123 sub 1 and sub2 into the inputs and do a pass through to the sub output connectors? Just like you can with left and right front speakers?
So sub outputs and left and right speakers driven by the preamp for music and then be pass through (left right and sub1 and sub2) for the mx123 for movies?
Has anybody heard and compared the 2 upgradable DACs that McIntosh makes..the DA1,found in this M49 Preamp, and the newer DA2?
These unboxing videos are always helpful and informative. But……. I gotta ask, what happened to the C54. Thanks Adrian.
4 is an unlucky number in some cultures, hence the 55
A suggestion unbox Shatki Stone…if possible.
The only negative comment I will mention is that I better hope in a lottery winning soon! The political climate tells me that the revised capital gains tax will soon also include lottery winnings. This might mean for very little amount left to purchase that million dollar system. DANG! Thanks Adrian for sharing more stuff to add to that wish list.
my pleasure
High quality unit, and built to last years.
Thank-you Adrian.
Really??
Why because its 9 grand?
@@summerforever6736 In case you didn't know McIntosh holds their value extremely well, so their is no arguing that.
They also have a warm sound and not bright that many audiophiles still like.
I can't afford McIntosh, but they are built very well.
Have a nice day.
Thanks for the video. is it have the same DAC as C53 ? Didn't understand. thanks.
yes, same
@@martinlord7320 Thank you very much.
Please help me out. I want to buy the Best bookshelf speaker under 2000 US dollars.
Klipsch 9s , sonus Faber lumina 2, q acoustics 5020, kef r3 meta , warfdale linton 85 ?
We don't get arindal 1723 or 1961 in my country. Any other speaker that you would recommend under or a little over 2000 dollars ?
Too bad there's still no streamer built in.
Also it would be nice to have a digital loop output similar to Hegel, so you can connect a hi end external DAC, but still being able to switch between all the preamp digital inputs.
These all-in-one machines you find in much lower price regions.
Audiophiles don’t like this sort of gear as it gets more and more compromised.
Unless they use a Module base DAC, it would be a Doorstop.
Well that crossover option is only good if you’re going to use the DAC2 as the dac. So it’s really not going to transform your system the way a better dac would.
Only $9,000 US for one component in a system. No wonder why the hobby skews affluent old guys. It’s a lot of dough for most. You can build a killer system for $9K. The price of some new audio today just amazes me. Nonetheless, I enjoy seeing your video’s so nothing negative, just facts.
once you’ve made your fortune, products like this won’t trigger you so hard
Never happen. I’m retired and never play the lottery and that’s ok. I’m very happy with what I have.
Adrian, would you please put mike higher so we can hear you? You know us old guys don’t have good hearing anymore. 😂
😂🤣
Your "intern" needs to put the camera on a tripod or a gimbal!!
Looks dated already!!
That’s what McIntosh buyers want it to look like
