2. I wanted to start a pet-sitting business and I was wondering if it would be a sin to watch a pet on the Sabbath (I know weekends are the busiest time for pet sitters)? I know it is not the same as caretaking for a person on the Sabbath. However, I really want to keep the Sabbath holy. Thank you for helping me with my question. Is it a sin to pet-sit on the Sabbath?
3. I have been helping a homeless person for the last 3 to 4 months. There have been times this person has made accusations against me and I have moved them out, but they apologized to me and I took them back in. I am ridiculed and condemned because of what I am doing but regardless of the accusations that were made of me, Jesus says to forgive 70 x 7. How can those that claim to be Christians not help someone beyond what they were wronged for and feel good about themselves? Am I wrong in the fact that Jesus helped everyone and looked down on no one? Are there certain people Jesus didn't help?

5. Is cooking on the Sabbath by the hospitality department, for fellowship lunch, a sin? Or breaking the Sabbath?
6. Romans 11:26 says: And so all Israel shall be saved as it is written.... Does this literally mean that all Jews will be saved? Will all Jews be saved?
7. If sin is quarantined to Earth, why do destructive things happen in space that we now see proof of with telescopes? Asteroids hitting planets, volcanoes, stars dying, etc?
8. Is it a sin to wear jewelry of any kind, even if it's not made out of diamond, gold, or silver? I've had my ears pierced since I was a little baby. Through the years, I've worn small studs, big hoops, necklaces, and bracelets; some were of precious metals while others were made of beads. I'm not particularly flashy but I do enjoy jewelry to help accent my outfits! Is it a sin to wear jewelry?
9. I am a Christian but I've been out of God's way for about 3 months. I recently started to smoke cigarettes among other things. I pray and I see my prayers being answered. Does that mean that God is still listening to me? Is God still listening to me?

11. I am fairly new to the 7th day Sabbath teaching. I have seen where some teachings on the New Moon and Lunar Sabbath. The Lunar Sabbath teachings say that keeping Sabbath on Saturday isn't biblical and one of the reasons was that the Gregorian calendar is pagan and not the calendar God gave us. Can you please help me? I am confused. When is the true Sabbath?
12. John 3:5 states that unless a man is born of water and of the spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God. What about those who never have the opportunity to be baptized due to circumstances beyond their control? They believe very much in their heart but did not get baptized. Will the unbaptized go to Heaven?

Thank you so much for that answer to "did Jesus help everyone". There have been several times that I have helped people that have been detrimental to me and my spiritual walk. This has caused several problems over the years, including causing the wrong type of people to be attracted to me. I am learning now that I can deny people my presence and time.

I board dogs and my work is just loving them and feeding them and giving them a home environment, and their owners have peace of mind and can enjoy their vacations or whatever. They are very grateful. I don't make much money, but it is worth it to provide this service of love and sacrifice. I get to meet a lot of people and actually do witnessing. I work through an agency and am not involved in the literal exchange of money after the stay. You cannot provide this service without taking in dogs on the weekends.
We should be Fishers of Men.

Should Adventist Christian doctors and nurses who go to work on the Sabbath collect a salary for that day?
@Jill Morikone, You speak truth but you do not understand addiction nor do you understand how God works in everyone else's life. Do not give up on God!!!! I struggled with alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and caffeine since I was a teenager and God delivered me again and finally when I was 62. I am 67 now and the struggle with caffeine finally 5 months ago. Just remember God said He will never leave you or forsake you. Keep going to God for deliverance. Cling to God's Word and remember, Jesus Christ died for you personally. Many have food addictions and anger issues (which is selfish pride), and we all have sinned and fall short of the Lord Jesus Christ. Most common addiction is to make excuses for ourselves.
Thank you for sharing your personal experience and the insight you have gained from walking through addiction. Praise God for His redemptive power! What a wonderful testimony of His faithfulness to carry you through so many years of pain and draw you now into His pure, marvelous light. We will keep your input in mind for future programs. Yeah I forget which 2 ladies it was but when Jesus was at their house 1 was worshiping him at his ' in the other 1 was doing chores and things and she got upset at the ladies and she said Jesus would you tell her to help me I don't know that's what I thought of when Ryan was talking about The sabbath and which you shouldn't should not do in the preparation of the food before hands and so-on

Today, Christians are under a new law, “the law of the Christ.” (Galatians 6:2) The former Law covenant given through Moses to Israel came to an end when Jesus’ death fulfilled it. (Romans 10:4; Ephesians 2:15)
Did the commandment about keeping the Sabbath also come to an end? YES! After saying that “we have been discharged from the Law,” Paul went on to refer to one of the Ten Commandments. (Romans 7:6,7) So, the Ten Commandments-including the Sabbath Law, are part of the Law that came to and end. God’s worshippers are no longer required to observe a weekly Sabbath!!

Something fascinating about the new covenant … Hebrews 8:10 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” God wants to write His law on our hearts.
We are saved by grace. No one has ever been saved by their works. God has only and always had one way to save mankind "the everlasting gospel" Do we still have sin in the world today? How does the Bible define sin? It says sin is lawlessness, breaking God's law. 1 John 3:4 It's clear from the Bible, Matthew 1:21 that Jesus came to save us from sin and he intends to, with our cooperation remove sin from our lives. He intends to give us victory over every sin that besets us. He will not leave us in the same mess He found us in. It's unbiblical to think God saves us and then leaves us to stay in bondage to sin. So if I know that stealing is a sin and I refuse to stop where does that leave me? In rebellion. Rev. 3:5 is clear, "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life…" A true saving relationship with Christ leads to a life of obedience to His commands and that includes His Ten Commandments. This is evidence of walking with Christ, not something we do to earn salvation. The Sabbath is a gift of resting in Christ, and the Bible gives us abundant evidence to pinpoint that day. The Scripture is also clear, there is another power that has attempted to change that day of rest and it will lead to a final choice for mankind in the end. Worship God according to His Commandments or Worship the beast on the day he has chosen.

As Adventist are we being hypocritical by taking advantage of people who must work on the SABBATH so we can keep it , There is work that has to be done on the Sabbath to keep this modern world going, there a certain things that cannot be closed that must be kept going 24 - 7 , so how do we look upon people who are not Adventist yet work on the Sabbath so we benefit by them working ,

@Ryan Day. You are totally wrong in your answer to taking care of animals on the Sabbath. It is no different than house sitting. Caring for animals on the Sabbath for someone else is not wrong it is a responsibility. If you were babysitting on the Sabbath, for a brother, sister, fellow human being does not qualify as a sin. People house sit and take care of animals for extended time. Maybe you didn't understand that question.
You don't understand the context of the Sabbath and that's why you think Ryan Day is wrong. You should ask that in a proper forum.
@@palawanish830 Not sure where you think you are more informed about taking care of animals than I am? I grew up on a farm with all kinds of farm animals. Animals have to be taken care of ever day in many cases. Do you know in Christ's time, when shepherds were common, they also took care of the sheep on the Sabbath, and many sheepherders were working for other people who owned the sheep. Milking cows have to be milked everyday, period, and fed and watered. Horses have to be cared for every day. Chicken, cats, dogs... All animals that are not living in the wild need daily attention. Responsible people take diligent, purposeful, care of animals every day, 7 days a week. Things like: training, branding, shearing, working cattle, are things not to be done on the Sabbath. Cleaning is generally not totally necessary on Sabbath yet animals kept in stalls need a quick clean daily (not deep cleaned).
