loved the last part from Whaley Bridge to Buxton. what glorious views there must be. then back to Buxton that I had 'walked' with you earlier in the day. thank you
I miss everything in this country, I loved even the bad weather. Whatever you do at home is suiting knowing there's a bit of rain outside. You can never be out of topics with the roommates while it's raining outside. You can always blame the weather.
Здорово иногда вот так прокатиться и проветрить голову от ненужных мыслей... Это отвлекает и расслабляет. Спасибо за интересную прогулку под дождём! :)
Dave - please could you do more driving in the rain, perhaps in different locations in England. I love this video and it really helps me with my depression and tinnitus. Thanks for your consideration!
It is very much the plan to do this soon, the camera I used for the car videos stopped working and I've had to invest in a whole new set up to record from the car, its taken much longer that I wanted anticipated!
Damn you, you said the word 'Tinnitus' and it set mine off. See I am deaf and my brain tunes it out so I hear nothing until I hear or read the word and suddenly the ringing in my ears comes back (both of them) till I forget or zone out the sound again. I've had it since birth hence how its easy to tune out the noise. Any noise can be tuned out if heard it long enough. I jest, I'm not really blaming you, Im being cheeky, dont feel bad (I have to add this part cos of the crappy 'wokeness' and dunno how you will react, I said it as a joke mate, even though it was true. Im not really blaming you for it, keep calm my friend.
Very much a goal of mine to do just that, but it will have to wait until I can invest in better recording equipment, I very much can't film anything lowlight with my currant car setup, one day though...
@@DavesWalks I'm a pluviophile so I love rain videos, especially walks and drives under the rain. Will wait for your next "rain" vidoes. Thanks again Dave. :)
Hello!🌞 That was a fun trip! It's great to take a drive even in the rain! No wonder it's so green there! I like that you mix it up here and there. We're still getting out and about! Thanks Dave! 🦋
@@gulfharborgirl710 Wasn't to sure at the time you posted this. But I have now just returned from filming some Christmas lights in Castleton that I will hopefully upload this Sunday coming up :)
33:00 My local level crossing takes time too. What happens is, is that that the crossing goes down minutes in advance and then it needs confirmation for an okay to let a train go pass, thats why it takes so long. Otherwise the train would halt to a stop. The train in the Video was travelling slowly - Where I am it takes slightly longer to wait because the trains are going 90-100mph and therefore more time must account to confirm an okay due to the speeds the trains are going. There are safety measures all over the shop. If the barricades aint down, the train stops.
Great ride, Dave! 😊 I always like walking in the rain 😊 Buildings and trees around them become even brighter against a gray sky 😊 I'm afraid that I'll never get used to driving on the left, but when I watch the video, it seems normal to me 😊
This is what we call winter in UK. It’s raining and raining and raining 🌧 by the way nice share dear. Watching from Scotland . Subscribed your channel to stay connected 👍
from Stockport to Buxton we drive along the A6 towards Buxton, we drive along the A5004 towards Buxton, we drive along the A53 towards Buxton, we parked up at Buxton Town Centre.
Another fab video thank you. I had to laugh when you cut out the A6 to go through Marple, only to rejoin the A6 later. I’m not surprised you cut the bit out in between. Hazel grove is a dump these days. I loved all the other little detours too. I’ve cycled to Buxton from Manchester once. I took the A6 all the way though.

Interesting trip. Thank you. I like that pastel tone colours that your camera delivers (it's not my display setting, i think) but, a more natural realistic tone could be a really good variation from time to time; just a proposal! Thanks again for your great work.
I do like the colour tone that GoPro uses, I don't really know the first thing about editing colours, I stick to this setting because when I watch it back, I find it closely matches it to how I remember it looking at the time I was there. It's a fair comment that some could find it too bold and over saturated, I probably overcompensate in my efforts to make sure things aren't grey looking. I really like in this video how the green trees stand out on this really grey day!
@@DavesWalks Your videos are beautiful! the GoPro tones are lovely. I agree that it is preferable to exceed colour saturation, than to fall into a field of greys or dull tones. Also, the colour tone of your videos don't lose its liveliness, organicity at any time, it's not artificial.
The UK was over 40oC this Summer and not just for one day too. Was over 30oc for weeks. I currently live in Buxton and the road melted on the Market Place. I saw one guy crossing the road and his flip flop stuck to the tarmac.

There's a great road that goes from Disley to Whaley Bridge cutting out the A6 called Buxton Old Road. The views off that road are stunning.
