I found your channel a few days ago and oh my goodness, I cannot get anything done because I am too busy watches your videos. I made your Korean fried chicken and man it was GREAT!!!! Day two had about ten wings left over so I refried them and they were BETTER DAY TWO!!! NOW BACK TO UR AWESOME VIDEOS
I’m a new subscriber lol... for a few weeks now; I’ve just been binge watching all your videos. I’ve never had Korean dishes. The first recipe I’ve tried is your budae jjigae and it changed my life! After that I’ve been eating Korean food all week! I absolutely love your channel and you inspire me so much! Thank you Seonyoung! I cannot wait to try this one. 😍
I may be in college, away from home cooked Korean food, but with this perhaps I can bring some of home here. Hope it turns out great! Keep up the great videos!
Seonkyoung, I just made this! Omg, so yummy! (I didn't have cabbage in fridge but I did have choy sum!) And I used Nongshim Chapagetti noodles! Wow! So good! I have been dealing with cancer for over a year and between you and Maangchi, I have grown to love Korean food and love cooking it! It's my little pleasure now! (And your chili oil is the bomb!) And btw, I just feel eating Korean, I'm eating healthier, which has to be good for me fighting cancer!
Thank you so much for this recipe of tteokbokki :) My sister is a fan of Korean cuisine, and I cooked it for her birthday. She was overwhelmed with joy :) Thank you once again
Your Videos are bitter sweet because it’s complete torture to watch you make all this wonderful food but at the same time you provide awesome recipes. THANK YOU!!! I love your channel!!
I discovered your channel a few days ago with the recipe for Tteokbokki. I really enjoyed the video ... You are very entertaining and the recipes seem to be clear and easy. I need to stock up on some of the Korean items but as soon as I do, I will start making some of the recipes, beginning with tteokbokki. Thank you for your efforts with these videos ... I love Asian food but have never made Korean food before and I'm really excited to get started.
So appreciative of your channel since watching mukbangs I've been so interested in Korean cooking. In England it's pretty much unheard of. Side note- English people are a lot like many Koreans seem to describe themselves as... Rude and 'mean' in the best way. You should absolutely visit England. At the very least be true to yourself let your true colours show and I'm sure I for one will love you and your videos!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I said to myself, "Why does everyone love carrots so much?" and the next thing she says is that you can leave the carrot out haha You read my mind, Seonkyoung! Looks delicious!
I'm pretty sure it's one of the only vegetables that everyone in my family will eat, so I've just been over carrotted haha There isn't anything wrong with carrots per se
I LOVE YOU!!! I found you when I searched RUclips for Galbi Jjjim recipes and I chose yours out of all of the others (even over Maangchi's)...and it was absolutely delish!!! 2nd video I watched was your most recent Korean Fried Chicken Recipe video. That's when I realized you are also insanely funny. This episode just killed me when you said: "...so if you are not used to cook and you are not really familiar with using knife, then you might want to ask this to your Mom to do it." ㅋㅋㅋ
Ive loved your older videos, and I love your new videos. And I know Im not alone. I hope that you love them and yourself just as much! Keep on loving yourself and rocking the the things you love 😄 It is not an easy thing to do in this negative world we live in.
You guys are too adorable. I just found gluten-free ramen at one of our Asian markets and I was going to make the fish cakes from scratch (because I can't find any gluten-free). I ordered gochugaru and gochujang from Amazon (made in South Korea). I cannot wait to try this recipe
Hii!!! Ive been watching you channel for almost a year now and i absolutely LOOOVVEEEE. watching your videos❤ they inspire me to cook and they look so amazingly delicious!!!!
Seonkyoung ! You made me discover Asian food and now I'm "training" myself to eat more spicy :) thank you for your beautiful recipes I'm always hungry when I watch your videos
Love how fast you have been putting these videos out . I can’t keep up and it all looks so good I don’t know which to try first. Thanks so much for putting in the work to create all these videos !!
Chingu I definitely love watching your food videos, the food that u cook is so scrumptious, it brought back fond memories of my working days in Paris baguette Korean company in singapore ☺️
I just made your Budae Jjigae recipe and the kids and I LOVED it! I been watching your channel for a while and FINALLY took the leap and decided to try your recipes and man we were not disappointed!! Can’t wait to try this because the kids have been wanting rice cakes! Next one after will DEFINITELY be the grilled pork belly with all the sides. Love your videos so much!!!
I'm watching your videos since 2013 and I'm still in love with your videos! I love your editing, it's so good! I really love how your videos stand up from the crowd! You just have something special that nobody else have! I really love your work, please never stop doing it! 😍💕💕✨
Mouth is watering! I have a love/hate relationship with watching your videos. I love learning more about my native food because I know so little but I always want whatever you make like as soon as I watch the video! It cracks me up when Jacob mouths along with you while you're signing off.
Hi Seonkyoung longest!! I've been watching yours and Maangchi's videos! The dishes look so nice and those are explained well so everyone can follow the steps at home. I really appreciate your effort of spreading Korean food in the world. I hope Korean culture gets popular on someday! (I mean, more!!) You and Maanchi have greatly inspired me. I have also stepped on it and I hope it makes many people know more about Korean food! Thank you Seonkyoung Longest. And keep posting the TASTY video please :)
Hi Seonkyoung! I am in love with your videos! They always make me so hungry! I am going off to college next year and planning to bring a rice cooker with me to school. I don't always want to go to the school's cafeteria because I know I will always be missing home (asian fusion based) foods! What easy recipes would you recommend, that deals with cooking in a rice cooker?
We made this today!! 4/6 liked it, it would have have 5/6 but someone is a lightweight and can't handle the spice :) Next up, life-changing udon soup!!
You’re so natural and funny in the camera, I love everything about your videos ! Living in Mexico I would never find those ingredients but thank u for sharing everything !!!
Lovely recipe! Thanks for sharing, I really have to catch up on every single video ever since you hit the spot on making authentic homemade pho. You’re so adorable & your husband is so handsome! Lovely couple you guys are. Hope I can find someone like him someday.
I've made this teokbokki a few times now and it turns out so well every time! it's surprisingly easy to make once you have all the ingredients at home and it's sooo good! :)
Omg, thank you so much for your recipe! I love it. It is amazing. I did not have rice syrup so I used honey instead. I added the korean spicy noodle in it, along with its seasoning and paste. I am eating right now as I am writing you this comment. I also did not add that chewy noodle as I couldn’t find it and didn’t want to put glass noodle in it. Thank you! For the first time, I am super proud of a korean dish that I made. Thanks!!!!!!! 😘I wished I can upload the picture on it.
I made this last night and it was a success! For some reason, my pot was closer to a dark brown than the red that you and Jacob had in the video. Enjoyed it with the kids but we were not able to finish it so we were not able to do the rice thing in the end. QUESTION: My wife has low tolerance for spicy food, that's why she was not able to eat this with us. Is there any substitute you can recommend for the gochugaru and the gochujang? Thank you for being a fun and wonderful cook! Can't wait for you Life In Japan videos!
Just wow! This is the most amazing and fun dish we have had in a long time. This recipe is perfect and it is so fun to make and eat. I love the noodles, mandu, and rice cakes the best. we've made this three times now and my only problem is that we are too full to make the fried rice at the end, LOL. One day! Thanks for the great recipes!
Omg you're so funny and I absolutely adore your personality. Actually I'm a big fan of Korean food and especially tteokbokki and now after watching your video I think I need to make this asap
I thought the tteokbokki dish looked so amazing on your vlog, so I’m so excited when I saw you actually made a cooking video about it!! Thank you!! Will be making this soon :3 (Also, this was one of your funniest videos ever)

Jennifer Likea but what’s not to love about carrots? Lol does the texture bother you? The taste? 😂 I’m so curious
I'm pretty sure it's one of the only vegetables that everyone in my family will eat, so I've just been over carrotted haha There isn't anything wrong with carrots per se
