Doesn't the kid who betrayed the orphanage look just like zenitsus fellow student under the former thunder hashira?
The sad thing is the kid had no bad intentions, when she said the bad man killed all the kids she meant the demon. She is 4 years old, she has no concept of a demon and she has no idea what her choice of words caused.
Poor kid was probably so traumatised from the trauma that it was all she could say
I'm sorry but that hole ending was a smooth criminal music video
Alright that walk by Muzan was Dope. The music, the sound of footsteps and the animation. Man Ufotable cooked again!!
He did everything he could to avenge those kids only to get thrown in prison out of fear of the survivor. What a heavy load the Stone Hashira is carrying.
All I’ll say is don’t forget the kid that led the demon to the house with children. He plays another big part of the story
And you know what's worse?
The child who disobeyed Gyomei's orders is *Kaigaku* , the same guy who's Zen'itsu's acquaintance (aka another student of the former Thunder Hashira/Gramps).
Even as a child, he was a piece of s**t! Like, BRO!
I was like where have I seen this piece of shit before🤔
Had a strong feeling it was him based on the hair and him having a design that screams "I'm gonna be important later on". Yup, talk about a piece of ****!
Zenitsu really getting revenge in the next arc
The Thunder is approaching, and Michael Jackson just casually walking to the CEO of the Demon Slayer Crops, fire episode and it only get better after this season
That budget for Muzan's entrance 🤩
Gyomei's backstory definitely deserved an extended episode to get through, they did a great job and I love that they went all out on this. As soon as I saw the kids when reading the manga I just knew his story would be sad
The entrance of Muzan with the frigging outro playing was masterful holy shit
Another thing of note this episode was something the manga never gave us:
Inosuke and Genya interacting.
It goes pretty much exactly how you'd expect. 😅
The child experienced cognitive dissidence. Her brain broke in that way peoples' brains break when something is direct and concrete but goes so against what they believe to be real that they can't actually believe the tangible thing they saw. She was also likely experiencing PTSD. And the sad thing for Gyomei is that the evidence of what he'd actually been fighting was snatched up by sunlight.
Believe me when I say it will only get better from here
Goddamn...
Gyomei's backstory was already heart breaking in the Manga... But the Anime manage to get it soul crushing 😭
Muzan walking to Ubayashiki was so cool and beautifully animated 😎
Can't wait to see the next episode 👀🔥
That treacherous kid that led that demon to the orphanage is quite the scumbag, all I’m gonna say is we already briefly saw that kid before and pretty soon he plays a part in all of this.
My head canon for why Muzan’s entrance had all that air…..is because all that smoke that was pushing off of Muzan was extremity concentrated Wisteria poison gas. So deadly that normal demons can’t even survive in….and Muzan is just SLOWLY walking through what’s essentially a cloud of death.
Next Episode: 💥💥💥 🧨🧨🧨🧨🤯🤯🤯🤯
That Moonzan Walk was Smooth.
Hands down, this is the best villain entry i seen in my life. The outro song made it 1000x better
It's more like Ufotable might give the next arc the Heaven's Feel treatment.
This was a pretty killer episode, next episode looks like it's going to be the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers in a series known for their cliffhangers!
Yeah I had to play that scene like three times cause it was that good ❤
Man this episode was awesome. To think Muzan shows up where Ubuyashiki is at. Oh dear…
Minor foreshadowing regarding Zenitsu:
The goofy Zenitsu basically died this episode.
Thx for that I love when he actually does stuff lol
@@cronoluminara6911 He will get really good moments in the next arc.
True, and I know why, but I wish they delved into it this episode (a tiny bit at least).
I say this, because when I read the manga, and I got to the point where Zenitsu’s stuff was important, my reaction was: “Wait what? Am I supposed to know this?” *rereads relevant parts* “Oh, yeah, I guess I was supposed to know. Too bad it didn’t get more attention, now I feel a bit underwhelmed”
Btw what was in that zenitsu's letter??
@@shanchar only if you want Spoilers:
In the letter he is told that his master and father figure committed seppuku (suicide) because on of his students betrayed the demon slayer corps and became a Demon (New Upper Moon Nr.5)
Zenitsu is about to cook next arc
Muzan was just going for a demon stroll 😂
That backstory man now we got MJ just sliding on in it’s going down
If I remember correctly, that kid who let the demon in was the guy who bullied Zenitsu when he was training to be the demon slayer. It was shown in a flashback when Zenitsu was fighting spider demon in season 1.
Yeah, after this episode i started listening to the ending song on repeat. Muzan vs Ubuyashiki. This is the encounter between the strongest demon and the weakest demon slayer.
That after credit scene tho. I assumed they will do something awesome but that legitimately gave me goosebumps.
I don’t know how they’re going to make this into movies while reading the manga I can’t see it being cut down into three parts it’s like continuous like one thing to the next with a lot of action and sad moments. The infinity castle arc and the sunrise countdown arc made me cry best part of demon slayer. Love the future arc just a good way to end the series.
that night Muzan showed up is theeee night
Himejima’s past was so dark! Muzan’s entrance was 🔥🔥🔥
I'd love to see an edit where Muzan moonwalks across the bridge 😂
DRIP GOD WITH THE RED EYES
I am guessing they will do Infinity Castle and Countdown to Sunrise in the 3 movies. I think the will start the countdown in movie 2 because it happens simultaneously with another major fight. I can’t go further without spoilers.
Spoiler for the up coming Arc!!!!!!!!!!
Are you sure? It will depend on how many Anime original content they will add. You have to remember that we have 5 upper moons to fight (I know 4&5 are weak, but still). I'm assuming the movies will focus on 1 small enemy and 1 major enemy with a subdivision like this:
1. Akaza and Upper Moon 4.
2. Doma and Upper Moon 5
3. Kokushibo.
(Haven't read the manga in years and don't remember the exact order in which the moons were fought, so i might be wrong with this subdivision)
@@kunstlerischesetwas1284
Spoilers…
The crow announces the death of a Hashira and then Akaza attacks.
Based on first visual I think 3 will be the finale with 2 filling up the middle.
Question is if 6 (pretty sure 5 is left open and only 6 filled) could be either movie.
In second I think they might back up to what 2 Hashira are up to with 4 (which is why 6 could be here maybe) then they have to struggle to stay alive while the fight with 1 goes on somewhere else. I think 1 will be the main part of the finale. 1 basically senses he is only one left except Muzan.
Then third could be most of countdown to sunrise and end.
This is only speculation but, it is fun to speculate. I need to see a clearer announcement.
As a manga reader I appreciate the Hashira arc. It was needed because the hashiras didnt get fleshed out individually in the manga.
They did? The Hashira training arc is a part of the manga
@@natalimoina you are correct. However, to me it felt like they glossed over it or it wasn't touched on enough for me to care about the Hashiras. Whereas I know I'm way more vested.
If they do worldwide premier for those movies, they could be the biggest of each year back to back. And near half of the top 10 highest grossing Japanese movies being DS is just funny to me.
(They did worldwide special screenings for the premiers of the last two arcs which were both pretty successful. They might've been trying to see how international releases perform, so it's actually pretty likely that we'll get to watch it alongside japan).
That kid was dumb as hell, once he was back in the temple he had ZERO reason to keep his end of the deal and destroy the incense, the demon would have had no way to do anything about it once he was inside
He still alive zenitsu about to lock in all i gotta say
@@blazenitrozeus5721 Really? Sounds interesting, can't wait to see what you mean...

After the events of Gyomei's backstory, that kid was taken by previous Thunder Hashira(Zenitsu's teacher) and both of them were trained by him. The message Zenitsu got this episode was that guy became a demon willingly and killed Zenitsu's master. And he became the new upper moon 6. We'll see Zenitsu fighting him by himself fully awake.
that kid was shown in zenitsu's backstory in season 1 if you remember@@THEPHENOMONALJORDAN
Muzan is moon walking in Kaguya house is too cold
If the rumors are true and Ufotable is giving Demon Slayer’s big war arc the same treatment that they gave Heaven’s Feel, then that’s something to be hype for.
Two key things about Gyomei's backstory. The first is to take note of the kid who put out the incense and led the demon to the temple. That little shit will be important. The second is that an extra chapter in the manga says that Sayo actually was referring to the demon, not Gyomei, when she said who killed the children. Unfortunately, she was in such shock that she couldn't talk properly and she couldn't prove his innocence since the demon disintegrated. It still bothers her even after turning fourteen and she always wanted to apologize.
You know shit got real with Zenitsu when he went quiet and kept his sentences brief. Whatever's in that letter got him to lock the fuck in. Keep your eyes on him for the next arc.
I fucking love what ufotable did for Muzan showing up to the mansion. That entire walking sequence was anime original. In the manga, he just appeared there; it was an abrupt but effective "oh shit" moment in the span of two panels. What the anime did blew that away and then some. The sheer aura Muzan had was chilling. He knew where the Ubyashiki mansion was. He knew Ubayashiki couldn't go anywhere. He knew there were no demon slayers present at the mansion. He knew no one could stop him. All he did was walk calmly because he knew he could take his time and enjoy himself.
Next episode is the last episode and it's confirmed to be an hour-long feature. We're getting a whole feast just like the finale of the Swordsmith Village Arc. After this is the Infinity Castle Arc, so it's about to go down!
It was tragic and you see how people fear really strong people. Jokester Zenitsu is done.
She's four, and possibly don't know that demon evaporates in the sun. Sayo might think she's hallucinating and her mind more accepting if it's Himejima that killed the kids. I'm not angry at her, just the boy who sacrifice for his own safety.
I feel like i need people to explain what they mean by weak when they say this arc is the weakest. Because having a fav is very different than something just lacking. Because when people are saying the latter when they really mean the former really it makes the discussion around quality reductive.
As a demon slayer hater, this was my favourite episode.
I liked episode 1, especially watching Tango vs Water Hashira.
I liked Tango vs Spider lower moon.
And now this is my favourite episode. If not for these 3 episodes, i wouldn't have anything good to say about demon slayer apart from the obviously insane animation quality.
i cant wait for zenitsu next season / movie.. i hope ufotable will deliver justice to 'that fight'
Gyomi literally has one of if not the most UNLUCKY backstory in the series.
I am not gonna lie to you, I feel like they should have ended the season with THIS EPISODE!!!
Also Ufotable is Glazing out boy Muzan TOO DAMN HARD!!!
I heard next week is gonna be final episode and I think it’s gonna be an hour which is good more than usual 30 minutes.
it won't actually be an hour it'll be like 45 mins thats how long it is with commercials same way this episode was 40 minutes
Gotcha thank you for the info.
Mark my words when I say this. The next arc will be once in a generation experience. Full of emotions, highs, lows. I am so excited for the future of kimistu no yabia
