I wish you had watched the Sony showcase instead of individual game trailers, that Wolverine reveal in the showcase was unexpected and excellent. And if I'm honest I didn't even expect a God of War trailer.
The character revealed in the KotOR remake reveal is a fan favorite called Darth Revan, one of the central antagonists to the KotOR time period (several thousand years before A New Hope). I would highly recommend avoiding looking up details about the previous game in order to avoid spoilers as the story is among the best (I prefer it over the films personally).
I don't even play video games, but I look forward to seeing the cutscene movies out of these games, since I think the writing in them is far superior than proper movies. Also, I love Achara's accent

The cutscenes you've watched are from the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic, which was spun off from the Knights of the Old Republic game (it's confusing, I know, the titles are so similar). So you won't find the cutscenes in the remake, but KOTOR sparked it all and I hope the remake turns out well!

Dude, play Knights of the Old Republic. As far as Star Wars content goes, it’s #1. It might feel dated (hence the remake) but it’s the shiniest gem. Also the “cutscenes” your thinking of are the trailers for the MMO The Old Republic. KOTOR has cutscenes but not like that lol

And they are actually not cutscenes, they are from the cgi trailers. This remake is of the single player RPG that online game is based off. It’ll still be totally awesome but just a reminder that this remake is of a game from 2003 so it was nothing like those cgi trailers.

Actually no, I'm in Australia and people can barely find them here, I was lucky enough to get mine in November last year on launch but World Events and Chip Shortages aren't making it easy. Even Ebay has people selling it for 5x the price.
