- French lawmakers have passed a motion of no-confidence to topple Prime Minister Michel Barnier's government.
The fall of his three-month-old cabinet is likely to deepen France's political crisis. The country has been reeling from a polarizing snap-election that left the parliament divided into three blocks, none of which has a majority. This result risks leaving France without a government or a budget as it enters the new year. The no-confidence motion was supported by left-wing and far-right lawmakers.

Next up Germany, we have to throw Scholz out.
DW will be mad since it funded by Scholz government 😂
Ha this is macrons fault and actively should be held accountable for this.
Macron'sMess: Four or five political parties dropped many of their candidates in the past round two of French elections to stymie LePen. This, which benefitted Macron, left him in the unenviable position of having to "herdcats" and nominate someone to be PM which that coalition would be happy with. As another said: he shouldn't have called for snap elections...
France been doing those for over 300 years.🤣🤣
Yea, and look where many times it has led! Lol
Who could have possibly foreseen this when Macron backstabned the left coalition that helped his party not get wiped out of parliament by strategically withdrawing from LR-friendly races?
This surprises literally no one. The current French government is a coalition of the unwilling.
Next Starmer
bro yʼall voted for Labour 💀
What's going on!! First South Korea and now this? Everyone calm down already
They are taking all the chaos out the box before Christmas so they can chill during the holiday.
It was already a shakey coalition from start with only one objective that was to prevent LaPen from forming govt. Otherwise they disagreed pretty much of everything else... This is the problem of multi party democratic system.
@@Tearsofsoil … yet I prefer it over the two party or even one party systems every day of the week!
@hape3862 one party system is like china. Means no democracy. Two party system is like USA system. It is workable.
It was a 6 year process after so many laws passed by force
Loses the no confidence vote? Isn’t that an oxymoron?
No, he could have "won the no confidence vote" as well.
Justin Trudeau's next🎉🎉🎉🎉
ha ha ...G7 ..1 by 1 ...
Macron is somewhere smiling...
A 🤡
Hey France, I'll do you a favor. You want substantial improvement in public opinion ? Choose the party w/the fewest billionaire backers & go from there. Your welcome.
Easier said than done, the billionaires own all French media, so billionaires are like the only topic that's NEVER discussed by the press ever.
Oh God, the world has gone mad
No, not the whole world. Just the US (my country), and US vassal states, plus some of their selected targets for endless wars, and most South Asian nations. ASEAN nations, except the Philippines, are doing just fine.
It's Gods balance for the Olympics (Button) ------>
Marine Le Pen is rubbing her hands.
Nobody cares. Le Pen is a nonsense herself.
Marine Le Pen is currently facing a trial for fraudulent use of public money in electoral campaigning, she might be declared non-eligible before the next presidential elections of 2027.
Normal day in France: "THROW OUT LE GOUVERNMENT"
Nice !
France is a mature society. It will sort it out.

That is not what happened. Macron committed a coup by naming a man (and ideology) who the French people opposed.
@@spamfilter32Wrong. Macron called for snap elections which was followed by the aforementioned Jake gave.
Correct. He shouldn't have called forSnapElections.
Good riddance
Barnier is gone, Macron should follow!
How many revolutions has France had?
Left wing and far right… never far left 😂😂😂
free hand year long until comes along economic matters, the budget.
We need this in Australia. Our PM Albanese has been the biggest disappointment of my political life. Overseas more than home. Focusing on employment not housing...we know what comes first, Albo. And normalising a misogynist felon, a rapist with constructive talks for trade deals and submarines. You have lost me, Albo, you gutless fawning trumpist. I have no one to vote for now.
Love how they say left wing and FAR RIGHT lawmakers.
they just say it out of habit now I think 😂
Not Far Left
@@PopularesVox who is far left? Macron?
@@user-qo4kb4dr1i I doubt it... He backstabbed them...
I think you just don’t know what it means. Far left describes movements like Communists and Anarchists. Far right describes movements like fascism (including ultranationalist) authoritarianism. But I know you probably don’t care.
@@demejiuk5660 can they not just be nationalists? Why is it always ULTRA/SUPER/MEGA/EXTREME nationalist?
Don't you see how easy it is to just upgrade the term and say the right wingers are extremists? The media do this constantly.....
Also ill note that Authoritarianism is not just a right wing thing....
Good to see Barnier and Macron loose 😊. Very nasty people
French problems could not be solved with out hostirity, what a pesmistic view
Trump is visiting France this weekend .
Let’s go Le Pen, save France!
No
Nien...
No
if the French have to choose the lesser of two evils between Le pen or Macron, they would likely to choose Macron.
No pasaran!
Putin: "If the Ukrainian Armed Forces celebrate the New Year in Kursk... I declare total mobilization!!!

Fantastic news!! Also, stop antagonizing Russia and wasting your people's money on corrupt Ukraine.
What are you talking about 😂 you sound like a fool! Russia is way more corrupt! No free press/ no freedom! Pick up a history book
@@tyronenelson3298 yup but ukraine is the 2nd most corrupt in europe after russia. None of them worth support cuz half of the money goes for luxury houses in italy for oligarchs

The zalinsky curse continues 🤣
wtf is that?
You can't even spell his name right...
keep providing unlimited tax money to Ukraine.
Ukraine is not what's wrong with France today.
@ oh really?
France hasn't given a lot (of money) to Ukraine.
MACRON: Ukraine, mon amour 💰🤑 💰🤑💰🤑
FRENCH TAXPAYERS:🍕 🍞 🥪 🥖 🥐🍷🧀
Don't blame Ukraine for this. Ukraine is paying with blood for a chance to exist and your contributions are minimal.
Barnier remains in place and another confidence vote can be held to reinstate him and his government, when the economic and political consequences of this hatchet job become clearer, in the next couple of weeks :-)
Wanna bet, Macron will nominate another right winger for next prime minister, whoever that is will face the same vote of no confidence and get kicked out.
Not sure how long Macron wants to continue this, but the only way to get out of this would be nominating a left winger and Macrons party supporting that one.
The NPF will win the Prime ministership and rightfully lead the people of france to a better world and a better future
Tax Bernard he can miss it
The problem is sanctions which they thought would be on russia , not knowing citizenry dont like it, but a few leaders think they can bullndoze all
You all has followed Ukraine into your graves.
Next is Germany Scholz, just wait and watch
The Scholz government has already collapsed. There is nothing to wait and watch.
Just rewards for committing a coup. May Macron forever disappear from politics.
you know it's his last term, right?
You don't know anything about french politics huh...?
❤❤❤ Russia 🇵🇬🇵🇬🇵🇬
Macron really pulled a Trudeau eh? Arrogance started the election, karma hit back real hard.
Macron ain't the PM...
Bro Macron is the President of the Republic, elected in 2022, not the Prime Minister, who is a result of the majority in the National Assembly. Right now, the centre-left has the majority there, and I doubt another snap election will be called.
@@adamdaniel8909 Did he or did he not start the election? He did. Is he or is he not the head of state? He is, just like Trudeau.
@@Samichou3 why suddenly Trudeau...?
@@Samichou3 also I doubt you know how french politics works... Even I'm trying to learn more of it...
