I watched this whole series from 2020-2022 because one of my friends introduced me to it. I hadn't yet known a lot about anime and hadn't seen many shows before, but I was immediately hooked from episode 1. When I'm on the topic about talking about this show I can go on for literal hours about the dumbest things. The show's pop culture references and humor, the gradual change in art style over time (IMO it got pretty neat and angular looking at points), the characters that would come and go over time, the different openings and endings, for a good while I could not shut UP about this show. While it took me 2 whole damn years to finish the show (I'm not a fast watcher oops) my watching of it was pretty routine and I always loved keeping up with every weird adventure. It just kept getting new layers of depth and intrigue as it went on, and I loved every second of it

Besides Pokemon, this was my first anime series I watched all the time. I even tried getting my neighbor friends into it lol I grew up on the dub via Netflix. I still believe the dub is a far funnier experience than the sub. Plus all the voices (at least in my opinion) fit amazingly. The only caviat was getting used to the dub and finding out it only covered the first 78 episodes, then having to get used to JP voices from then on lmao Cant recommend the show enough :)

I remember watching this anime for the first time when I was a big fan of jjba, then when I started watching the anime for the first time I was surprised when I heard kururu's voice because it is the same voice actir of DIO in japanese, also I just found out that tamama's voice is the same of jibanyan, one of my favorite yokai's!
You know this anime has some similarities with Invader Zim, both shows are about a midget green alien and they’re cute quirky minions trying to conquer earth but always fail due to their own incompetence or interference by the human characters.

I wouldn't say the dub is dumbed down. It just has a sprinkle of gag dub energy, which is fitting for this sort of show.
