"I Have A Dream" is the popular name given to the public speech by Martin Luther King, Jr., when he spoke of his desire for a future where blacks and whites, among others, would coexist harmoniously as equals.

This speech gets me every time, it is so amazing. Dr. King was a magnificent speaker with a fantastic message.

One day while taking a breath of fresh air on the bannister of the motel where they stood, a sniper’s bullet found him and struck him on his throat! He stumbled off his feet and laid there dying when his friends found him dying and as he died he prayed his way all the way to heaven! God rest his precious soul beautiful! Amen

Unfortunately I was brought up in a house with a racist. My adoptive mother, who lived in Birmingham during the 1960's felt it necessary to carry on horrible ideas from that time on my little brother and I. My 8th grade teacher played this speech for the class. It made me cry. Cry for my own ignorance. Cry because my mother who lived to see what was happening in a hotbed of violence and ignorance. still chose the KKK. Thank you Mr. Roberts for helping change my heart. Thank you Dr. King.

After having read the speech I am more convinced than ever that Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the most powerful speakers of the 20th century. He had the skill and passion needed to move people into action and he did so. The way he spoke of the potential of the world gave people a renewed strength and hope in humanity, But after hearing a speech like this, one can’t help but be moved to have faith once again.

When I listen to Martin Luther King Jr, I then realise why I am alive today.
This world has never been blessed to have a leader that speaks for all of us since his death. The rich the poor, of any colour or religious faiths.
This world is starving for another man or woman that has the biblical compassion of such a human being. Martin Luther King Jr had an Aura and blessed with beautiful oratory. He moved people because his spirit was driven by the Holy Bible scriptures.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a messenger from God! A gift to see if we could except what we couldn’t understand! His life came as a breath of fresh air, but those that would benefit the most never grasped that all we had to do, was to believe! The word of God came freely but continues to be exploited! If you are a rich preacher than you are lost!
