i had an ich outbreak in one of the community tanks i keep(guppies and tetras).none of the tetra died and iam planning to try the jar method. It looks good! Cant wait to get some fries.
Hi Dear Bhavia, I'm happy to know that you're going to try this method. Sorry I failed in these two videos. But It would work as long as you have the right pair and a bit of patience. Actually, I just succeeded two days ago. I'll post updates soon. Thanks for watching my video!
@@bothetetrabreeder8734 just got over the ich outbreak .. with high temperature and used some meds for ich specifically. I am trying to get my neon tetra to breed in a tub with some coconut fibres. I will try today. Hope it works. Cant wait for the new video. Keep up the good content.
Because I don't have java moss and palm tree fibers is what I learned from other tetra breeders. You can use java moss if you don't have palm tree fibers. Good luck!
Dear Bo: Last weekend, while at my, local, pet store, the Manager asked me to explain how to acclimate fish to a family who had just purchased a “glow fish” (Gymnocorymbus ternetzi) and an albino Chinese algae eater (Gyrinocheilus aymonieri). I did so and encouraged them to set up a quarantine tank and keep the new fish in it for 21 days before transferring them to their, established, inhabited 20-gallon tank. They would not be persuaded. I’ve had fancy guppies look fine, after 18 days of quarantine, and still transfer fin rot to my stock, after I introduced them, at that time. I cannot over-emphasize the importance of quarantining new stock. Thank you for sharing your attempts to breed neon tetra. Only an expert could accomplish this, difficult task. With continued tries, I believe you will have more successes. All my best, Sincerely, E. J. Brinegar
Dear Brinegar, Yes, I do agree with you about quarantining new fish. I have had hard lessons for not properly quarantining my newly purchased fish. Just last year, nearly all the fish in one of my tanks were infected and killed by white spots brought in by newly-purchased fish. My breeding project had to postpone due to this disaster. Neon tetra was actually my first type of tetra I managed to breed six years ago. Too bad I have yet to succeed in the recent two videos. I think I have to be a little more patient. Thank you for your encouragement!
These are my favorite fish. I’m sure if you stick with it you’ll get it. Not that long ago no one knew how to breed neons at all. ❤️🐠
Thanks Rocco for your encouragement! I really hope I can succeed in my next video! Fingers crossed.

Hi Dear, rummy nose tetra will not work , it only works for neon tetras...I will make video on how to breed rummy nose tetras in the future.

Why u cover with paper ?
So they will not get stressed.

what color should be a good egg?
a little bit orange I think...you can check my latest video on breeding rummy nose. You will see fertile eggs should look shiny under strong lighting.

Hi Max, Yes! I was just thinking about it today, seeing that my neon tetras are still not mature.
Merhaba oksijensiz kaç gün durabiliyorlar?

Hi all friends
Hi!
@@bothetetrabreeder8734 welcome friends
really pretty but I've never tried keeping them. 😾✌️
Why not?
The Egg is not a fungus
Unfertilized eggs will eventually turn into fungus, so that's why we need to pick out the good eggs in a clear water environment.
