Congratulations. Great job. I will wait for the new video of the breeding and growing of the little neons. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Best regards from Portugal
Dear Bo: I truly appreciate your work. You have a lovely, planted tank (with local shrimp!), and a terrific carpet of green, grass-like plants. I don’t believe I could sort that, without CO2. And, you have amazing success breeding characins. Thank you for sharing this, fascinating look at breeding neon tetra. Is this, breeding pair of the species neon tetra (Paracheirodon innesi) or green neon tetra (Paracheirodon simulans)? Please advise. Thank you. All my best, Sincerely, E. J. Brinegar
HI brinegar, Glad you like the carpet plants. they were dwarf hairgrass. the breeding pairs were neon tetras. the green neons you saw in the beginning of the video were the ones I showed you guys in previous videos, they are now 4 months old now. Thanks for your comment!
@@bothetetrabreeder8734 Sir what foods are you feeding to condition you're breeders? Try feeding mosquito larva and daphnia or even small pieces of frozen bloodworms or prawns.
what kind of water do you put in it?, my eggs are white, I don't use a heater because where I live the temperature is from 25 to 28 and 30c the temperature varies. I'm from Mexico, could you advise me to be successful?
Hi Emir, I just used my local tap water Declorinated.i didnt use heater either as the temperature was 25C. are all your eggs white? if they are, try using another pair.
Hi Nishanta, unfortunately cardinal tetra will not work in a jar. Cardinal tetra would be very stressed in a small space.I tried that in the past and ended up with one dead.
I don't think it has, to do so much with the water parametes, but with the favt that your fish did not reproduce for a very long time (actually never), and their reproductive organs have suffered, because of inactivity. Their eggs may be dead, untill the female gets to grow new ones inside her ovaries.
Thank you for your insightful comment. You bring up an interesting point about the reproductive activity of the fish. It's possible that their inactivity has affected their reproductive organs. I'll keep an eye on their progress and hope that they can eventually recover and reproduce. Your input is much appreciated But it's interesting to note that this particular issue seems to be more prevalent in neon tetras, and I haven't observed the same level of deformities in other tetra species.
Great production. I really appreciate the work you've done to bring us the breeding process for Neon Tetras in a jar.
Interesting, your patience really paid off! Congratulations.
Thank you!

Great video Bo! i'll reference this vid for my tetras!
Thanks Fish Central. I thought it might be a bit boring to watch. I'm glad it helps.
Congratulations Sir. 👏👏👏
Can you share your methods of raising the fry in subsequent videos updates? Thank you for sharing.👍
Sure I will

Hey, guys! Isn't this a great show?
For example, I loved the super clear resolution, and soothing musical soundtrack.
Appreciated for your efforts 🙌🏻
Can we leave the newly hatched fry for 4-5 days without feeding anything?
Yes, we can. And that's the only way to do, as they won't eat anything before day 5 or 6 from hatching.

You are so welcome
Awesome
Hi how many times do you change the water in the jar? thanks.
When the fish are in the jar, I don't change the water because I only keep them in the jar for one day
what is the hatching temp in your room?
hi, temp was 28C , thanks!
Hello, does this work with rummy nose tetra
Hi Kayan, it doesn't work for rummy nose tetra...I made a video on breeding rummy nose, please check it out. thanks!
How long u conditioned them?
Hi Saad, they were just in the jar for less than 24 hours.
Is there any way I can connect with you?
@@SaadKhan006 Hi yes, you can send message to my email🙂
Can we do cardinal same as this in a jar
Hi Nishanta, unfortunately cardinal tetra will not work in a jar. Cardinal tetra would be very stressed in a small space.I tried that in the past and ended up with one dead.
Ok i will get neon then

Their eggs may be dead, untill the female gets to grow new ones inside her ovaries.
Repeating the process may be the key to the success.
I would not move the eggs, untill they spawn, and get bigger.
I would have moved the fish.
I would also, not remove anything. All the detritus becomes food for the infuzoria, and then, for the fish.

@@bothetetrabreeder8734 You are welcome.
Inactivitty may be the cause of manny reproductive failures.
