    You asked for more long ride videos, so here you go! This is our favorite local cycling ride here in Da Nang, Vietnam. Lots of great views and very close to the city.

      Love the long form ride videos. Thanks for creating them. Have you considered placing an overlay on the videos show stats like speed and elevation? Would make these vids even better!

    That was the heck of a thrilling ride , especially the descents and spectacular views !
    No wonder you are both in such top fitness condition with such regular training.
    Excellent oncoming plans too: Thuong definitely needs some time with her family before leaving and you will probably benefit not just from being with yours in the States , but also will assess the situation there much better before you both settle there. Bali or the Philippines sound the most interesting at this stage, but see what suits you best !

    What an awesome ride, definitely my end of the woods, I hate hills (who doesn’t) but rollers are great.
    When I upgraded my wheels they were loud and everyone can hear me coming, didn’t like that too much, I removed the hub and greased the pawls and it was all quiet afterwards, there was hardly any lub inside, I usually repeat the process every 4 months just to keep things quiet, some riders do the opposite to make them louder, they remove the grease because they want to be heard as they approach, I can still hear the hub as I descend but just half as much so you still get that “music to my ears “ clicking.

    • @TwoWheelCruise
      @TwoWheelCruise  Год назад +3

      Agreed, rollers are great. I used to not like loud hubs, but they are convenient here to let people know you're nearby with all the chaos

On side note I fed some monkeys in thailand. They were very intimidating. So I gave the food to a thai to feed them. They could not intimidate him. Thanks for vid its a very beautiful place.

    It started raining now in Chiang Mai, so the pollution is much better finally. The other day it was 42C, monsoon wind and downpour, and hail. Crazy weather and it feels like living in a bathroom with the hot shower running. Oh, I finally tried those noodle stuffed chicken wings you mentioned. Delicious. Happy Birthday Thuong, welcome back to Chiang Mai.

    I haven't ridden on the coast for a while now. I miss the scenery, but not the traffic. Love the vegetation where you rode. The wind seemed minimal from what I could see. You guys smashed the climbs! Some questions... What sort of gearing are you using? What power meter are you running? How do you like your new wheels? About the smoking cyclists... I've seen some myself, mostly commuters. It's been a while, I can't help but laugh it's ridiculous.

      Strangely, the end of this road has a lot less traffic compared to many inland roads here. It can get very windy here, but not too bad today. We're using compact front and 11-30 cassette
