Why I believe Micheal is the main protagonist
-he has deep past stories
-he has a family
-the first character to be controlled
-he has legit 80s style
Somehow it looks like Michael is fitting for the main character because of it
hes literally the whole plot behind the story if he wasn't involved in criminal life we wouldn't have seen trevor in the business aswell as franklin and no old fib agent living off past glories

@alienoffearth Franklin is actually the main protagonist, he gets the final choice. Does he break the pyramid scheme cycle of working for somebody who always used him for their own ends(Simeon --> Stretch --> Weston --> Michael) and kill Mike? or does he take a page from Michaels book and betray the only guy that was ever really honest with him (trevor) and learn the lesson that "survival is winning Franklin everything else is bullshit." Or does he take a page from trevor and stick by his boys that he rode through hell with even asking Lamar for help, someone he was falling out of touch with, and reconciling with him. Frank is the soul that is hanging in the balance within the feud between Michael and Trevor who have deeper pasts than him and different perspectives on life and the criminal game.

No he's not. If you look at the story of GTA V it's Michael betraying Trevor a decade ago to escape his criminal past. 10 years later he becomes unretired, Trevor finds out and certain events transpire. That's the plot of the game. If anything Franklin is the least "protagonist" of the 3 main protagonists. Since Michael and Trevor have long and complicated history, meanwhile Michael just meets Franklin in the beginning of the game for the first time. Even trailers for the game heavily focus on Michael the most.

Out of the three Trailer, I personally feel Michael's part what resonates me the most. He has trouble expressing his love towards his family, in conflict with his life of crime he wants to escape from so he can live in retirement in peace. The song deeply emphasize his life that he has to deal with.
Rockstar said the truth: the protagonist is the map. not the player. you can hang out and do yoga and boring stuff like that. All you can actually do is watch the map, breathe it, live it. but in GTA SA you were the real player. you were able to do thousand of things. all we need now is a GTA 6, with a map made like the GTA 5 map, but with the possibilities of GTA SA.

@@Jolter2731 it was a really good game in the beginning. By now, it's a mess. Stopped playing just before the casino was released. I came back for all of a day when casino dropped, and left and never came back.

There are explosions in nervous Ron you just have to activate
also at 1:01 in game, you wear the bike helmets rather than the stealth masks as seen on the crew. You can also see Michael grabbing the money at 1:02. However, in the game, you smash the glass cases with the dimoads. Instead of grabbing the money. 1:07 I don't think that is the target in game I don't know I forgor.

Ok honesty time- everybody is loosing their minds over rdr 2 and GTA 6 but if you think about it rockstar won't make you think of another game because it would kill GTA 5s momentum, they spent 5 years making this game and they are fully intentional on letting it keep out attention while they devolup other games so we keep chilling w 5 and then boom! 6 comes shooting out of a canon

I love all of the characters.
Michael wakes up my sentiment for GTA Vice City, since he kidna reminds me of Tommy. And the music...The Queen just fit perfectly.
Franklin is obvious. I think it's the same guy who did CJ's voice. He's the one to make up that true Los Santos character.
Now Trevor is an interesting subject. I honestly can't wait to see how he plays out in the entire series.

Idk why the old fans of GTA hated this game, i mean, this game is wonderful, have a good gameplay and a dynamic and good story mode, the missions are just wow.
From my understanding lots of people didn’t like it because it took out a lot of the realism of gta 4 me personally I like both games.
