The first time I made Niko walk out onto the streets of Liberty City and saw the Ps3 version of GTA I... I literally couldn't believe it!
It was dramatic but the expectations were even more dramatic. We thought that we would be able to enter almost every house & store lol. It's a great game, shame there was never a remaster. On console the game is not available and the PC version is trash that you have to fight to get to run properly let alone get it to look anywhere near as good as it did on PS3.
Honestly, the fact that there is a difference between GTA San and 4 is 3-4 years is crazy. Also I can say about the fact, that, actually GTA San is one part lower, than 5
100%, when GTA 3 came out, it was mind blowing going from GTA 1 and 2 to a fully 3-dimensional, open world game. Then each game after that was crazy and even more 'realistic'. Looking back at 3, vice city and san andreas, they look pretty bad haha.
GTA 3 changed gaming. It was well ahead of its time and it changed the way devs and gamers saw games. From the day it was announced, the bar was raised higher than a lot of people thought possible. From a glitch in a game to where we are now with GTA is incredible.

I remember watching the gta 5 trailer with my dad on his iPhone 3GS in 2011 after school, and now I watched the gta 6 trailer 12 years older, going from a kid to a teenager to an adult with a job, bills and responsibilities. Even the wait between 4 and 5 was agonisingly slow after the trailer came out as a kid, but it was nothing compared to today. I’m lucky I got to experience the very end of the days where waiting 5 years for a game wasn’t too normal yet.
GTA San Andreas had soo many new milestones. A lot of things don’t sound special today, but back in the days these innovations were completely mindblowing. Finally you can climb, first time that you can fly airplanes, cruising around with a bicycle or do skydiving, having a girlfriend, play basketball, go to the casino, having dancebattles, change your hair- and clothingstyle, playing billiard, ordering food in a fast-food restaurant, you can start a gang war and expand your territory, you had 3 big islands with different settings, and so much more!! i was 8 when this game came out and everything in this game was so stunning!! Not to mention the multiplayer SAMP where the possibilities were a thousand times bigger! For me the biggest GTA of all time!

I'm so happy to see that reveal trailers and all evolution of GTA series, it also includes the GTA 6 trailer, which came out this past December. The best reveal trailer which I like it is: (GTA: Vice City, GTA: San Andreas, GTA 4, GTA 5 and finally GTA 6).
The jump in quality between each release is incredible. In this churn shit out every year for money economy, it’s nice seeing that true artistry has a place to shine
Man, I remember GTAIII was huge back in 2001. After 2D GTA2 it was such a leap forward. And it was the only 3D GTA game to have that legacy 2D view from the birds eye.
Always loved the GTA trailers, going back to GTA 3 of course. Hell when 9/11 happened and school got dismissed I went to a friends house to play some Diablo 2 and look up information on GTA 3 since we both were huge fans of GTA 2.
Rockstar are the pinnacle of Perfection when it comes to delivering their games they give us to explore. Other Studios try to raise that bar. Rockstar says the bar doesn't exist.
I remember the hype back in 2008. I was already a huge GTA fan thanks to Vice City and SanAndreas. When that first GTA IV trailer came out my mind was blown away... The jump in graphics is just amazing. GTA IV was the first game I bought with my Xbox 360, even before Halo or Gears of War or any other popular game at the time.
I love all of the GTAs like everyone else, but there is something about GTA 4... The euphoria that comes over me when I hear the music or the dialogue. The trailers were perfect. The graphics, the gameplay, the music. Perfect. I really miss when games could be watershed, cultural moments.

I remember when GTA SA pictures were first shown on IGN. One of the first batches had CJ on a bike, which was exciting back then because it was the first time we seen a bike at all in a gta game. I remember being excited when I caught snippets of LA landmarks, like the convention center and watts towers, in that batch. Visually it looked quite different from GTA III and Vice City. Then that trailer hit and my hype went off the charts. Also the IV trailer was pretty massive too back then with how Liberty City really did look like New York this time as opposed to III's Liberty City. Imaginations ran wild with how massive GTA IV might be just based on the last clip of the skyline. Even now it still feels pretty big despite being just the city.
Honest rockstar as amazing at building hype and they do deliver on what they tease us with, I agree 100% with the GTA IV thing that it was so close to New York, having just done a trip there after years of playing that game it just made New York that much more special because it felt familiar it was insane :)

GTA VI is gonna be dope as all hell. I remember the midnight release of GTA IV at Gamestop. The line went around the block. People had been there for hours waiting in line. The manager paid *$2000* to a Burger King across the street to have them make a whole fast food banquet for everyone. It was crazy. Some guy had a PS2 with a screen on it in his car playing San Andreas. Then midnight hit and we all got our copies. I didn't go to bed that night and skipped class the next day.

I remember the hype back in 2008. I was already a huge GTA fan thanks to Vice City and SanAndreas. When that first GTA IV trailer came out my mind was blown away... The jump in graphics is just amazing. GTA IV was the first game I bought with my Xbox 360, even before Halo or Gears of War or any other popular game at the time.
I love all of the GTAs like everyone else, but there is something about GTA 4... The euphoria that comes over me when I hear the music or the dialogue. The trailers were perfect. The graphics, the gameplay, the music. Perfect. I really miss when games could be watershed, cultural moments.

The IV reveal still gives me chills. The way they revealed liberty city with the time lapse and music was so perfect. Nikos narration made it even better. Still my favorite GTA game

That Vice City trailer was amazing
The GTA IV trailer was the first vid I tried to watch in full HD on my old home computer back when it was released. Took a good few minutes for it to buffer, but was worth it. Felt like a whole new world at the time

I hope gta6 brings back the realism of the world... like San Andreas with all the things you can do such as playing pool, basketball and eating, and more importantly GTA IVs/RDR2's attention to detail of the world with actually giving it life with NPCs doing more than just walking around and actually doing stuff and random things happening as you explore to give it the as realistic as possible feel

GTA 4 was The best Part of my life and it is the best first Trailer , when i watch it i feel myself back to 2009 ,2010, 2011 i was in 15 years , i was going to be crazy if i won't play GTA 4 , i was not have a PS3 or a XBOX 360 but i changed many computers to play GTA 4 because it had a Big Jump from The 3D to the HD , from Cartoon characters to HD characters , Sun becomes clear in the world with its shadows , its reflections to all things in the GTA 4 world , Cars are close to be realastic , The New Liberty city , New sound for weapons , espcially the grenade and The RPG , also when a car explodes, Radio stations although they was bad not like Vice city which has the best Radio stations but they had their memories especially Vladivostok FM, also when you steal a car , we used to steal it in the last series with different way , but in GTA 4 we had to smash the Glass then steal it , i remember also How The Lampposts when you break them , they make a sound i will not forget it was special and new in GTA world , we will not forget the best story of Niko Bellic and Missions were the best in all GTA Series ,I had good days with GTA 4 and San andreas which was the first part i played , i will not forget Theme Soundtrack which was a masterpiece and best from all GTA parts , i remember how the game had a slow loading with that soundtrack , Life was Good and Rockstar games was also a Good company but now we have to wait 10 years to see new Game from Rockstar , when Gta 4 released Rockstar in The same year released Midnight Club and in 2009 released two DLCs for GTA 4 and GTA Chinatown Wars and next year 2010 was for Red dead redemption 1 and 2011 for L.A Noire, 2012 for Max Payne 3 , and 2013 for GTA 5 , now we are with different Rockstar Games, I wish time would come back one day to 2008 💔💔

Its being a long road from playing gta 3 as a kid to playing gta 6
I remember when GTA SA pictures were first shown on IGN. One of the first batches had CJ on a bike, which was exciting back then because it was the first time we seen a bike at all in a gta game. I remember being excited when I caught snippets of LA landmarks, like the convention center and watts towers, in that batch. Visually it looked quite different from GTA III and Vice City. Then that trailer hit and my hype went off the charts.
Also the IV trailer was pretty massive too back then with how Liberty City really did look like New York this time as opposed to III's Liberty City. Imaginations ran wild with how massive GTA IV might be just based on the last clip of the skyline. Even now it still feels pretty big despite being just the city.
Honest rockstar as amazing at building hype and they do deliver on what they tease us with, I agree 100% with the GTA IV thing that it was so close to New York, having just done a trip there after years of playing that game it just made New York that much more special because it felt familiar it was insane :)

GTA VI is gonna be dope as all hell. I remember the midnight release of GTA IV at Gamestop. The line went around the block. People had been there for hours waiting in line. The manager paid *$2000* to a Burger King across the street to have them make a whole fast food banquet for everyone. It was crazy. Some guy had a PS2 with a screen on it in his car playing San Andreas. Then midnight hit and we all got our copies. I didn't go to bed that night and skipped class the next day.
