You didn't mention the top speed of Coquette and Deveste 8. For those curious, Coquette is 160 km/h (making GTA IV the slowest) and Deveste 8 is 270 km/h (making GTA V the fastest).
I knew GTA 4 cars were slow! Finally, proof. They always felt slow.
There is not tons of open space in gta IV and the map is kinda small. So makes sense the cars being the slowest.
@@ConkerVonZap Vice City has the smallest map yet their cars are so fast that you can literally go around the entire map in just 5 mins real time
I don't understand the GTA 5 one, I have GTA 5 but i never seen those cars ever.
@@allstargaming2500 that's why the game feels small. Slower cars make travelling across the map feel more like a chore, thus making the player think it's taking longer.

Actually Infernus is the only car which can be used to complete the airport stunt jump near Avery's hanger from LCS. The stunt is so hard to complete with a Banshee and Cheetah as sometimes the car gets scrapped and the stunt jump is a failure.
Nah, the Infernus was always the faster choice. The Cheetah has better handling, though.

GTA IV surprised me the most. I always thought it was a battle between the Comet and Infernus as the fastest, as many sources cite the Comet as having the highest top speed, while the Infernus has better acceleration. But I always found driving the Coquette to be much more nimble and lighter, so it “feels” faster. The Comet, by comparison, feels heavier and has a somewhat sluggish launch, and the Infernus is a bit harder to control, especially at low speeds.
Infernus was pretty underwhelming in GTA IV, the car is so rare, but it's just like any other sports cars in terms of performance. Even Sultan RS is better. 😐

@@TheGreatVivek7 The Coquette wasn’t in the same racing class as the Infernus and Comet, though. Those are considered “supers”, whereas the Coquette, Banshee, and Feltzer are considered “sports”.
GTA V and GTA Online should've been separated. Speedometer could also help (GTA V also tracks the fastest speed achieved in the stats, probably some other games as well).

Then it makes sense that, unexpectedly for me, vehicles that I had never heard of won in the competition among GTA V cars, and cars like Z-Type, Adder and Turismo R did not even participate in the competition!
But I already began to think that after a lot of DLCs, my information about the fastest GTA V cars was very outdated...
@@Elenil_Vivian they are. Adder would be the fastest OG car. Turismo R is a GTA Online car, but Rockstar used to add new cars to GTA V as well (only purchasable, cannot spawn in traffic), then they stopped doing that. I don't think Turismo R can beat Adder (without upgrades). Acceleration could be better, but Adder should have higher top speed still.
Yeah those vehicles aren't really relevant to GTA 5 Single player, and as always it should have been Online vehicles as of today as they tend to always release more towards that speed record.
@@MrGarryGrey If I'm not confusing anything, the upgraded Z-Type is slightly faster than the (upgraded) Adder.
As for the Turismo R, I don't really have much to add, except that I've overlooked that it's not an OG car.
Oh, one more thing, Turismo even with upgrades will be slower than the upgraded Adder. The faster acceleration (about 20 seconds to full speed versus about 30 for Adder) is very nice, though.

The Diablos in GTA 3 were originally meant to have Infernus but this was too fast for an early gang car, so was changed to Stallions. You can hear King Courtney still refer to the Diablos car as Infernus in that mission where youve to collect gang cars.

@@labeebahmad9614 It is not, he has better acceleration, but not top speed. In game files, you can see that Infernus top speed is 240, but for Bullet is 230.
My favorite is the Bullet. Sure I'd crash into everything if I dare went on the highway but those brief moments of insane speed were so much fun in SA 😅

be careful because in your test with the coquette the infernus is the comet you did a lot of left-right with the coquette and the coquette and most vehicles accelerate faster by making slight left-right moves.

@@TabbyEgg312 nope. In fact, the video is wrong about the Coquette being the fastest, this is because in GTA 4, cars of the same model spawn with different engine rpm levels. If you take 2 random cars off the street, chances are one will rev higher than the other, and therefore be faster. Since the performances of the 4 fastest cars are nearly the same, this variable can make one faster than the other. However the Comet has a bug that makes it dominate online races if you master it. It's faster while driving on sidewalks, while driving offroad, and while hugging concrete walls on expressways. Potholes also speed it up a little. This bug is found on no other sport car in the game, except for the Police Stinger only available in TBoGT multiplayer freemode, which is even faster

A HSW enabled Deveste will trash all the other super cars.
A HSW enabled GTO Stinger TT (sports) will beat a Deveste on top speed and a HSW enabled La Coureuse (also Sports) pisses all over everything in the game in every area EXCEPT top speed.
Side note: I make a lot of custom jobs and quite a few end up in various YT videos, so I occasionally search my user name and GTA. Every time I get "did you mean ENXGMA?" Well played Sir, well played.
You are like the first one here I have seen have their facts straight. There's so many people here that say X is the fastest car when no matter how you look at it isn't. They aren't the fastest based on top speed or lap time even if you only focus on the car class the car is in.

The cars shown in GTA V are from the Online. I believe that you can't get those cars without mods in campaing. Maybe a separated category in this kind of comparison would be better.

In GTA 4 and 5, they're the same speed if you look into the code of the game. The difference you saw is standard deviation because you can't always go in a perfectly straight line.
They limited the max speed of the cars because of loading times back when it was released on PS3

What happened to the Bullet car in San Andreas? I always thought it was the fastest cause the crazy motion blur in SA makes the car seem to go insanely fast. Bullet has better handling than Infernus.
Bullet is only 143 mph while infernus is 149
I always thought that was the fastest too, as you say the cameras motion blur on with that car is crazy. I remember doing one of the san fierro races with it in the countryside and it was hard to imagine any san andreas vehicle being any faster!

If you tested Torero XO that would've been the most fastest car as well in gta 5 that comes from gta online of course. With Krieger as well that used to be the most fastest supercar before on gta 5 but not anymore. With Sportcars the fastest one is still Pariah of course. Overall you really tried with this project great job ENXGMA

Idk, but I think some racecar from San Andreas has to be the fastest in the game. I remember driving it at the airport and on the runway it's so fast you can even feel and see the effects of its speed displaying on the screen. It usually happens when you drive in a straight line for a couple of seconds. I think you access it at that racecar event near CJ's home in Los Santos and if you're using cheats, on PC it's ""VROCKPOKEY" or something like that.
