Everything you sayed im with you, exelent video again, well done. Some of the problems that you talked about in the video of the new update been reported from other people too, it seems that they dont care
Yes, and I did say it was not a bad thing, but unless they do something about fob spam, point rushes at the start of the round or RAASnot being random, it will end up making those things more rewarding than before. The things I believe were hurting the gameplay the most are now even more effective.
If im being honest, i like the new update. I bought this game for the immersiveness and the milsim aspect, i dont care if i die a lot so i think this update is good. But i also dont want to lose it's playerbase, so i hope the update tweaks some aspects but not completely stray away from the intended purpose of the overhaul, to make it immersive.
Hear me out, what is milsim about your professional soldier not being able to hold a rifle properly, look down the scope properly or have the stamina of a professional soldier (Rather than a 55 year old office worker that smokes 30 a day)
MGs have gone bad. MGs were already hard to use in close proximity, they have become worse.. I sprayed a whole mag into a dude prone 2 mtrs away (without aiming through scope) n he got up n shot me. how? how am I so weak as a machine gunner ?
Mgs have way too much recoil and spray from a prepared position or supported but when you are just carrying them, small bursts or single fire. But if the enemy is that close 3 round burst with correction between them should do the trick.
"Make the combat worse overall so new players die even harder." Is what they should have said. Its clunky as hell and my guy shoots like it's his first time firing a weapon.
Yeah they went too far on nerfing individual play. But newbies tend to be more cautious in general so may get a few more kills fed to them by passing enemies :P
@@TheOnlySillySocks They'd get a lot more kills and have a lot more fun if they played a game designed for them, rather than advocating for changes in a game not designed for them. Afaik lowering the skill ceiling reduces player agency and removes any reason to want to get better. A good operator SHOULD be able to turn a corner and blast unsuspecting enemies easily. Not to mention the fact that like you said, defense is now much easier than offense. Meaning on the good servers, squads will take a helo to prospective 2nd or 3rd enemy points and end the game for the enemy team. While the lower skill team will get rolled for half an hour. They should unlock the kits at this point and let anyone play anything.
I agree with most of what your saying except 2 things, we are not playing as operators, we are just grunts, your everyday infantryman. Second, they always said they were against running and gunning. This isn't new. I have always heard them say that. It was always their idea and intent to slow down the gun play, I do think they went a bit too far, but it was their goal for years now. On this it was and still is clear, they want teamwork to determine who wins fights, not individual skill. And I am a little bummed as well, I have plenty of recordings of me wiping entire squads caught off guard. But I just can't fault them for going in the direction they always said they wanted to go. I can fault them for how they did it, and I do in this case.
@TheOnlySillySocks I totally agree with your opinion. They definitely reduced the rate of infantry play to a toddler's crawl, though. They should've found the in-between first before releasing the combat overhaul. So many with a wealth of experience in the game including myself, are voting with our feet.
After latest update weapon scope handling is just trash. This update makes this game less playable because U can't really hit anything. From my point of view they went in bad direction like someone would do it on purpose to ruin this great game. Weapon scopes are rubish now. Scope view is very small so it is really hard to hit anything. I wish they could give better scopes and implement better bullet drop ... it is one of this examples when You want to do something perfect and You ruin this. We don't know it for sure but probably in next 2 years SQUAD will be dead as a game because of bad reviews on steam... If developers want to apologize to players they can implement better scope view... with 15x times scope and maybe 50 cal sniper rifle but those changes with wombleming scopes where U can't see to much have to be gone. Also Scope where You are looking through are to small ... it should be biger like it is when You are looking through the real scopes.

5:00 this is a good thing. this game is for immersion if you are caught out in the open in real life you are dead

@@TheOnlySillySocks yes you have a point. I was just whining on youtube
This was supposed to be like project reality that game you can still play an it's free
