Really enjoying this series! We're about to go on our summer tour and are planning two months travelling around Italy in our motorhome. These vids have been really useful! I'm particularly impressed with the cinematography and format. Your intros are a nice touch and I appreciate the care you take over the location referencing. Best wishes.
Thanks, great to hear you are enjoying the Series 😀 you may not have seen it but we've produced an 81 page guide for the whole series containing the routes we took, Campsites, Activities and more which can be downloaded from our website www.ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures.co.uk. cheers...Andy&Michelle
Spotted the San Antonio campsite at the start of your video. We spent 6 days there for a well earned rest and chance to explore Amalfi coast after travelling down over 5 weeks. Lovely spot and really friendly owner. You do really seem to be following in our footsteps on this trip. I was glad we had the motorbike to explore the coast.
Hi Paul, totally agree, a great spot 👍 out of our whole tour we spent the most time here - 5 days, it was perfect for exploring the area and yes the owner was great, he helped us to our pitch, arranged the boat trip and also we found the restaurant great value and friendly. Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Just back from our 8 days in Naples. This came out just in time to prep us for our visit, so thanks! I need a holiday to get over our holiday. Luckily for us it was much quieter than you seem to have had it. I can't even imagine how busy it gets in the summer season, as even in March everything is busy busy busy! Somehow everything we did seemed to be the perfect weather for it. Overcast on arrival, so it was spent exploring the areas around our apartment, which was bang centre between the Centro Storico and Quartieri Spagnoli. No early nights for us. 😅 It is such a great place though. We managed to visit Vesuvius (cloudless skies, views for miles and a bitter wind that ripped through you), Herculaneum, Amalfi, again beautiful weather (didn't bother with Positano, partly based on what you said, we've visited Bellagio before and thought this would be the same, i.e. all fur coat and nae knickers), Sorrento, Capri (fantastic chairlift ride to the top), Castel Sant'Elmo, Napoli Sotteranea (rainy day), Pompeii (cloudy and cool) and exploring Spagnoli. Can't wait to go back.
Hi Graeme, glad we got the video out in time for your trip! 😀 It was great to read of your experiences, sounds like you had a great time. You really made us laugh with your fur coat and nae knickers comment🤣 our only regret is that we didn't get to visit Capri, wish we'd have done that instead of the trip to Positano tbh, we'll have to go back some day to do that, Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Loved it. Brought back many happy memories. 😊. Getting itchy feet again but we’ll have to wait until next year now as we’re doing a relief contract at Stonehaven CAMC Site, six days every month this year. Just having our first night in Scotland en route before taking over on Thursday. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Saturnia next time when we’ll let you into a little secret😉
Now we are intrigued about what you have to say about Saturnia! better get on and get the video made!! Good luck with the Stonehaven site, we didn't make it to that part of Scotland but will in the future, Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Excellent video & thanks for sharing. Always wanted to go around the Amalfi coast. You did such a good job with the video that I don’t now need to go:) Oh and the Aperol Spritz - very lite it seemed, did they put any Aperol in?
We only did capri and Pompei when I was a kid as the weather was so terrible for most of our holiday so thank you for filling in the gaps. That drivers hands were so fast on the steering wheel of the coach. 5 pence a dribble 😂 Another great adventure 😊
We really wanted to do Capri but couldn't face another boat trip the day after the boat on the Amalfi Coast, you'll have to tell us about it😀 Yes those lemons 🍋 are really expensive... but REALLY tasty😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
The lovely Almalfi Coast, we did it in May, (taken on advice) much quieter, managed to drive the coast road a few times, once from Sorrento to Vitri sul mare, with very little traffic, Ravello is beautiful to, lovely place but the Almalfi coast is far to busy in the summer months. But like you prefer the mountains of Switzerland, great vlog again guys, thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Mark & Lorna, this was filmed 1st October and it was busy, can't imagine what it would be like in the height of summer! We had a recommendation to visit Ravello while we were there but just couldn't squeeze it in, we are currently in the Dolomites enjoying the mountains - perfect! Cheers...Andy&Michelle
VERY DISAPOINTED !!!! No mention of Gin or a cycling adventure 🤣🤣🤣 we did love Positano and Amalfi but we did it the first time in an open top convertible we hired in Rome, so way less scary than in a motorhome We also did it out of season in our Campervan just to say we actually drove the who Amalfi coast.. So much more to see.. Im pretty sure motorhomes are banned during certain summer months 🚐❌ How was Andy pronouncing Positano ? Sounded like he was saying Postiano 🤔 Great vid as always 🚐💨❤🇮🇹
Ha ha.. you had us going there, we were just having lunchtime cocktails in Italy and saw the start of your comment pop up, we nearly dropped off our chairs!! Amalfi in an open top has to be a life goal!! Don't mention the pronunciation🤣 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
We took the local bus from Sorrento to Amalfi. What an experience !! Overtaking cars, with a thousand foot drop and no road barrier. Needless to say, we caught the bus back. It's definitely not a drive for motorhomers of a nervous disposition 😂
Sounds like a stiff drink is needed after that bus ride!! We wish we'd have experienced the road route too but just ran out of time, cheers...Andy&Michelle
I know🤣 it was too late by the time we came to edit the video. Once recorded it was too late - I think I'll be getting some feedback on my pronunciation in this one!! Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Just a bit different but truth be told we'd rather be hiking around Anglesey than in the crowds of Amalfi! The volcano was a special😀 cheers...Andy&Michelle

Awesome, absolutely loved that. This is a stunningly beautiful area! Thank you for sharing your view with us.
Hi, its great hear you enjoyed the video, certainly is a stunning area Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Well I am glad you did it and I watched, I would hate all the crowds! Thoroughly enjoyable Vlog Andy, well done. 👍
Thanks Cheryl, we are staying clear of the crowds from now😀 cheers...Andy&Michelle

Great video, content & editing. You guys are top drawer.
Thanks Alan, really appreciate that😊 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Really enjoyed following your travels. Love the aperols at the top of Vesuvius 🙌😂
Great to hear you are enjoying our travels Nikki😊 Gotta love an Aperol😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Most impressive. I see the Italians are still driving with their horn...
Jeremy would have just pulled on the handbrake and dropped over the side! ;-)
Oh yes, plenty of horn blowing and no one taking any notice!! 😀Cheers...Andy&Michelle
I'm with you, 1/2 an hour in amongst the crowds is enough. Quickly see what you need to then off to the hills.
Exactly Chris👍 😀
Wonderful video Both, I bet its crazy in the summer.
I dare not even think what it would be like there in Summer - both heat and people!! 😀 cheers...Andy&Michelle

I think it's really rude when people point out Andy's poor pronunciation. It's Herculaneum by the way, not Herculeum.
Ha ha.. see what you did there!!🤣🤣🤣 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Positano not Postiano 😦🤭

A bit different to Anglesey 😂

They built Herculaneum where it is to be handy for the train station....obvious!!!
ha ha... obviously were thinking along the right lines, Cheers...Andy&Michelle
