Yep! His brother is a contemporary dancer and chroreographer for a dance company in Seoul, I believe, and he choreographed Hongjoong's MAMA solo. There's a vid on Ateez's channel about them preparing for it together, they seem to be pretty close and Hongjoong has said his brother his is role model. It's really cool to see how they both caught the performance bug but in such different ways.
8:05 - ateez choreographers are always bbtrippin, they also have a channel where you can see the "draft version" of all the choreographies they do, including artists from pnation (example: that that from psy), some soloists and even once they did for everglow's first!
KQ has an in-house dance crew called 'BBTrippin' that works on every single ATEEZ and xikers choreography. like someone else said, they have their own youtube channel that they upload the draft versions, so you can see how things changed! or choreo from their tour that we didn't get dance practices of from ATEEZ. they also work with some other artists sometimes like PSY and Zico.
for hongjoong’s technical skills, i’d really recommend checking out his dance cover of sia’s “elastic heart” (choreo by koharu). it’s pretty short (a minute and a half) and very casually filmed from his phone with shitty lighting as i think it he was just learning it by himself during lockdown, but even if you check it out just in your own time i’d love for you to see it! personally i just adore the way he moves - he’s not officially a part of the ateez “danceline” but even one of the famous choreographers that worked with them (anze skrube) raved about how incredibly special he is in a steezy commentary video
