I greatly enjoy your videos. I want to learn the Hebrew as spoken by a native Israeli. Growing up in NYC, the way many folks speak Hebrew seems like they have not put much effort into the correct pronunciation of words. Not a big deal, of course. Still. I study languages. I love to speak as locals do. Thank you. Baruch Hashem!
todah raba! So glad to find you made a video of Shehekheyanu. I have my beit din on January 20th and so trying to get better about saying this prayer before my mikveh
This is such an answered prayer!. It is wonderful to learn this language and be able to speak the Psalms and blessings in this beautiful language. Thank you so much. I am subscribing to this channel. Bless you!!!
Even tough I'm not a Christian (nor do I follow the religion of my Jewish ancestors), I love the language and find your channel one of the best tools for learning and practicing Hebrew! I think we could never thank you enough for your precious work. However, I have a doubt about a word in the video: instead of adonai (אֲדֹנָי) in the first sentence (Baruch atah Adonai), I actually see the letters יהוה ( yud, hey vav and hey again). Could you please explain it to me? Is it some sort of religious prohibition to write the actual word in the prayer?
@@TheWORDinHEBREW Oh, how interesting! Todah rabah for the kind and thorough explanation. just a ben anussim (i.e. of long-ago converted Sephardic Jews, and, according to mom´s dad, also with one Ashkenazi lineage)but I'm a Taoist/shamanist. However, I'm very eclectic and think the Kabbalah has many points in common with Taoism's esoteric aspects and actually love some Jewish celebrations like the Shabbat and Chanukkah, and all the more nature-related ones, like the adorable Tu B'shevat. And, of course, I respect the most compassionate teachings of the rabbi Yeshua ben Yossef. I even like Robert Eisenman's books about Yeshuah, especially James, the Brother of Jesus (i.e. Ya'akov Hatzadik), though I'm still reading it. Now I get it, that word must be the what is generally transliterated as Yaweh in the Roman alphabet. Many blessings from the Primordial Nature to you too (this is how we call the Absolute in Taoism) ve shabbat shalom. And thank you again for your precious channel!
Thank you todda can you please please make it the writing under the Hebrew word I think is English please make it bigger so I can go back reread it & know the meaning thank you; May G-d bless you
Dear Ayaleth , Shaalom Alikhem.... nice way to teach.Hebrew.. is it not possible to add meaning of the words in Biblical way ...? Actually I hv just began to learn Hebrew.
Shalom please compassionate heed my pleading I am sicking stomach eyes back life miserably quotidian rations unsolvable please have pity on me God blessing you Psalm 41:1-3
A quick question… At the bottom of this prayer (the last two words)it reads in English , time this. Is that the correct way to pray this prayer? I genuinely do not know and I want to learn it correctly. Thank you 🙏 😊
Thank you so much for answering my question so quickly! You are such a blessing to those of us who are trying delve deeper into the things of G-d . May you walk in and enjoy the fullness of G-d and His blessings in every area of your life!
I really appreciate your videos thank you but it would be great if you would say what I'm saying in English along with what I'm saying and Hebrew because after I said this I don't have the slightest idea what I just said in English I don't have any clue what I said in English at all the writing in the video is so bad I can't read it it's not focus at all and so I'm just saying words I have no idea what I'm saying in English so maybe as you were going along and Hebrew and we were saying the words afterwards you could be saying what that means in English they're also help me to learn it so that would stick in my head and we were saying things like when you said El Olam then maybe you can say God of forever so that I can understand what I'm saying?... I just happen to know that one because I've already memorized the Lord's Prayer but if I hadn't I wouldn't have the slightest clue of any of the meaning of the words I just learned
Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!

We are all His creation but we are not all His children. To be His child you must worship Yahweh and keep His Torah.

There's a reason you are children of the star. Light brings truth and peace. The moon gives no light no warmth and no truth.
