i grew up with the cartoon too on nickelodeon. i think i watched it 1st before i saw the movie, that's why i was confused why beetlejuice was an antagonist and not olivia's homie like in the show. lol i want to know how he got his head back to normal after the woman shrunk it. that scene used to scare the heck out of me when i was little, worse than the sand worms did. lol
Let's hope this does good enough for another movie, and we get it sooner than later. Just because now Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice HAS TO be made! I mean what king of sicko would stop at Beetlejuice Beetlejuice?
I also didn't watch the last trailer but I'm excited too! It looks like they might do the original justice. The only thing is I'm just a little tired of seeing Jenna Ortega (that's her right?)
I'm excited for this, but my biggest worry is that they will try to do too much. Too much CGI, too much going on, too many characters, too many famous people, too many pop culture references. That's what all new remakes or sequels do now and it ruins everything about the movie itself but also the legacy of the original. If you watch the original movie, it is very simple. The trailer already has a lot crammed into it. I hope it turns out well. And I'm definitely for you doing more reviews!
