Timmy Christian He was the frontman of linkin park also known as one of the most successful rock groups. Chester committed suicide on July 20th 2017 after struggling with a lot of things for a very long time unfortunately.

Its crazy that she posted this today because it was my first day back to school and my new choir teacher was talking about how he's planning on having us do this song because it has such a deep meaning and he feels that people should hear this message. Its important to let people know that there is people who care and being someone who suffers from anxiety and depression I really am happy to see the message at the end.

yes, autotune, but well adjusted
Auto-Tune is a program, pitch adjustment is what it does. Someone can say there's no Auto-Tune, but that just means that program wasn't used. We get what you mean, but what you're saying is wrong.
As for whether or not the pitch was adjusted, yes, it was. I don't know if they recorded in a studio setting, but I assume they did, and I'll let you in on a secret that isn't very secret. Everybody adjusts pitch in one way or another. Either through sampling which is recording the same thing several times and picking the best segments, then editing it together, or through straight up pitch adjustment with a program such as Auto-Tune, but it can be done with various other programs as well.
Now here's the thing, when it is done really well, you don't even hear that anything has been changed. It's like CGI in movies (animated stuff) which is done a lot these days. There are loads of things that look real and ordinary but aren't there in reality. Then there's the obvious stuff like glass shattering, buildings crumbling down and whatever, but even that can look very real if done properly.
Things aren't always as real as you think they are. If you ever watched Lord of the Rings, there's a part where Gandalf comes and saves the day with a bunch of people going down a slope. Most of those people aren't real. Yet they look like real people.

This song really is a reminder that we are all more than just one tiny spark among a million stars, and I listen to this song every time I’m upset over their death. I must've listened to this a hundred times now and it still hits me hard. It's such an important message for those of us who are personally dealing with mental illness or those who indirectly deal with it (because those who are supporting people with depression/anxiety/whatever deserve recognition. sometimes you guys are literally life savers). It's crazy how music can move you and pick you up. Or resonate with you because it talks about things you've dealt or are dealing with. Amber, Gen, I think you guys have touched a lot of people with this cover.

I must say I have been a fan of Amber's since 2015 and I have never heard a cover that has affected my heart this much. I love Linkin Park and when Chester died I was in a subtle shock because I could relate to their songs. Every time I listen to this cover I start to get emotional because I have lost many people in my life and most recently I lost my older brother to an accidental overdose which broke me inside since it was the second semester of my senior year and he didn't get to see me graduate or perform at the talent show. I felt broken when I lost my brother and ever since January 6, 2018 I have had three other family members of mine pass away which triggered me to think about my brother again. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him and wish he was still here. I will never forget him and because of him and those I love I want to keep on living and inspire others like Ambers covers and songs inspire me. Life is painful and each day is hard but the pain will ease and I have to keep pushing through no matter what.
To anyone who has lost someone dear to you or has struggled with the fight of death and suicide you are not alone.

LP and Chester were a big influence on my life as a kid. When they dropped this last album, something felt so different. It was an extremely personal album. Hearing that Chester had died....well it made the album feel extremely different. Your cover was absolutely beautiful.
