- Join me as I find another amazing geocache. Of course once I find it I discover that I once again was not quite prepared to log the find. I like to make the #1 rule of geocaching much more difficult for myself. It is clear I need to be a better geocaching role model.

Now that is funny, My boy recently forgot his pen realized it at the geocache a mile walk from the vehicle. I laughed he laughed I stamped the log as he watched. fun video Josh. Thanks for the video. april 2nd will be my 14 year anniversary Geocaching.

Duuude! 😂 I don't have A pen in my van, I have one in every storage spot, plus at least 2 in my cache bag. That's an awesome park! When you played with that xylophone/marimba/glockenspiel (I can never tell them apart) I wondered if you were a percussionist in high school band.
I was never a percussionist. Reese was however.

Plus they can be used as swag, so he'd always have some with him. Awesome idea! Except then we wouldn't get videos of him emptying all his pockets, dumping out his backpack, or cleaning his car.

That is the kind of park I would have a lot of fun in. I would love to play with those percussion instruments. First place I ever saw a bike repair station happened to be at Hyak (Parking spot for the APE cache on the other side of the tunnel). We now have one of those outside our library. They are a great thing to have around!
I did worse. I put my phone down at a geocache in the middle of the woods and walk away. Before I got to the next geocache, I realized what I did. Retrace my step and eventually found my phone. 😂
Yes, we all make mistakes.
I got a keychain Swiss army knife with a pen built in for Christmas. It's already come on handy a couple of times haha.

You're not an avid cacher if you don't forget your pen at least once!! (yes, I have, after going for one particular cache half a mile away from the car). Out of the thousands of finds, how often do you forget? It only shows your getting older Josh LOL. And the answer is no, you are not a bad ambassador for geocaching!
