I am from Nigeria, but i like Ugandans culture. It's one of the best cultures in the world.
I am from a royal family, from Benin Kingdom Edo state Nigeria. and i believe we have the same culture. I will visit Uganda to explore more of their cultures, because we seems to have the same culture. God bless Uganda, and God bless the mother land of African. One love my people.

To my understanding this act of kneeling is done 'basically every day' only in Uganda and only in certain tribes, the Northern Ugandan Tribes that belong to the Nilo Ethnic group don't kneel, I don't think this is done in any other African country regularly like that, can anyone confirm?

But that doesn't mean we're being demeaned or anything. My husband will still respect me and listen to me, I will work, drive do everything and still be respected in the society. Femininity is in our nature.

My heritage my pride yeah ,,in the history acholi and west Nile pipo ,,our fathers were brothers,, that z gipii and labongo ,,so they separated becoz gipii used the spear of labongo and the elephant ran with the spear so labongo had to demand gipii for his real spear not anew one but his real spear, so gipii had to go in the bush searched for the elephant till he got the spear,, it became now choas,,so one day labongo picked beats for gipii and gave his dota to play with then accidentally the dota swallowed gipii's beasts so gipii also demanded for his real beats and wat the had to do only to killed the dota to labongo,in order to get the beasts ,,,, so in pakwach that z where they cutted the tree in that Nile wit an axe and swore never to talk and meet again,,,.but thnkx to God we now even intermarriage... Karumaaa fall is really great that z sea power of Uganda comes from....

Kneeling by both genders, where am from, is a preserve for submission when Praying to our Almighty God mainly and not before any human being. However, I do admire and respect Buganda culture that maintains the tradition by their women. Most recently, I once watched a young Beautiful lady government minister most recently kneel before a traditional leader. That was quite an admirable gesture

I remember I would kneel to greet villagers on the way home and even on my elder brothers. Kneel while preparing our staple food matooke,, and even my brothers would kneel as long as they come home even in their 20/30's, and I feel more comfortable to do staff while kneeling.
