This interview sums up how I feel about America and why I'll be moving to Africa in about 6 months. I've visited twice (was in Africa during the pandemic and had to leave) and I'll be visiting again once the border are open to find a place to rent and get setup. Being in Africa was the first time in my life I felt free as a black person and after experiencing it I can't stomach living under these conditions in America any longer.
@Senzenia Mang the afro Caribbean is part of Africa trust me...very proud African ppl living on those islands. Of course that all proud of their African heritage but the majority are✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
"Africa is the future" -- well said. Jack Dorsey, the owner of twitter said the same thing last year when asked why he was holding a tech conference in Adis Ababa, Ethiopia. But Africans should put God above all the success she is soon to experience!
@Senzenia Mang I know. They give us a hard time to keep dual citizenship. When I go to Uganda, I'm treated like a foreigner in my the same country I was born and raised! African people must learn from God to love each other!
For Africa to be for Africans, we should elect or select better leaders. Africa is not only the future , but the past too. Because , humans and great civilizations originated in Africa. 🌍
@@veinsofafricanblood7519 Truth! Most local people who make it in Africa have some connection or have been abroad first, and that is why many try to go make some capital. Going out can be a great strategy for making it back home!
Most African leaves good middle class jobs in their home country to go to America to work as cleaners . My principal left to be a baby sitter in the 1980s. If you are middle class in Africa you have a better quality of life than the equivalent middle class person in America.
@@crystalfabulous1203 for example a normal middle class person in Africa can afford a full-time nanny or a full time helper . No Normal middle class person in the west can afford that .
You're so right, there doctors and engineers working as day laborers and/or supplementing their income by selling illegally. These are people from the caribbean and Latin America. The ones that are fluent in English have it easier, may be able to find a better job.

I am Black American and he's right. This country is not great don't let the media fool you. If you come here my best advice is to get money and leave. I am looking forward to moving to Kenya from US and help Kenya and Africa build and be the juggernaut is supposed to be in this world.
Nah fast internet safety and alot more money for a regular person much better job security. The west is a better place to live if you are average. In Africa if you are intelligent more than average or have a good job it's better. Depends for the person but assuming you're a regular person with no special skills the west is tons times better
KAIZO POLYMATH The American system is based debt. The average American has $38,000 debt. You may make less, but we are paying more in debt. We in the diaspora should stop making our differences a challenge and help to make African better. Naturally, any immigrant should come into a country with some skills.
@@eporter8213 you don't just get debt. You get debt based on how you live your life. I don't. Have any debt and even if they have it. They don't have to pay it back right away. The point is you can work and save money here much easier than Africa. Save enough to travel even leave the country. Your debt isn't going to follow you. You could literally just not pay back and leave lol

I’m happy he got through that very negative encounter and is back on the Mother Continent. Beautiful brother make contact, 🙏🏾. One Love African. We must build our Home. I’m wanting to connection with the ones loving themselves to forget glitters and sees Values 🌈
Most African believe that you become rich when you move in the western world but it’s not true. You guys should know that western world life depends on debts . Uganda is one of the cheapest countries in Africa
Also the citizens live paycheck to paycheck meaning you get $3000 a month from your job & your living expenses (food, housing, utilities) are $3500 so then you live on debt credit or work overtime to survive and can’t afford to even fly home
Racism is nothing compared to the healthcare cost. If you get sick and spend 3 nights at a hospital, they will charge your insurance $32000+, and your out of pocket costs will be $5000, many people go bankrupt in America because of medical bills. This system is a glasshouse and that's why they have to impose their wills on countries that don't have the military advancements, and any country that runs counter to their oppressive nature is labeled an adversary by default.
Exactly that think africans always and never believe me if i say...there abroad its not better. U have to work very hard..nobody want believe..problem is too that the africans in diaspora even brag with their salary and posh life..but a liem
Just like we should not have false dreams of USA, we should not have false dreams of Africa either. The variables are different and to some extent the same. I have been robbed by Ugandan police. We all know that you don’t get much out of Ugandan police. And you have tried driving in Kampala and get pulled over, and happen to have a white person sitting in your car, you will see the preferential treatment they give you because you have a muzungu sitting in your car. And many Ugandans that even make it to the internet are part of the upperclass that don’t interact much with the police. You should be hearing from the relatives of those that have died from Ugandan Police in the name of protecting Ugandans from Covid. And those are only getting heard because of Covid. Ugandan police kills Ugandans every year that get less publicity, let’s be equally critical and not sugar coat things with simplistic stories. Both continents deserve people with critical thinking skills that are willing to roll up their sleeves and work towards solutions for the future. If you want change for your fellow man, get to work. 😁😘
We have to change the story in Uganda, the situation with these big guys in government pulling out their guns in terrible and we see just 1% of it but they kill a lot of people that we don't even hear àbout.
@Princess Dixon being colonized doesn't matter because it cant be fixed. Is what she said true? People need to know these things before moving somewhere. Its weird that some Africans dont want to be honest about African countries and their issues. There is no perfect country.

I used to drive around America solo and I'm a woman. This insanity started on this level when Obama became president and got worse when Trump got in there.
I was in Ghana last year and most of them could tell we were from the US and others did ask us where we were from. As soon as we said US the response was always, “Oh I want to go there.” We jokingly told a few of them “Let’s switch places then.” I wouldn’t wish this mental and spiritual burden on anyone. No, it’s not all bad but if you’re aware of certain things it can be hard just being here because you’re not always treated like a human. As a black American you don’t realize just how well this place markets itself to the world like some paradise until you leave the country and see how other countries see this place. Pre-Covid when people saw that blue passport they treated me like gold. It was weird because I’m not even treated that well in my own country. It’s all a marketing ploy folks.
tspcocktail hopefully now they will. This brother provided some awesome insight and though he wasn’t black American he got some first hand knowledge of what we experience. Just like they show us National Geographic and Feed the Children when they market Africa as a whole in the west they paint the US as some paradise and you’re right, it’s a lie! There are communities right here in the US that look like 3rd world countries but they never talk about it to the world. There’s a community right here in South Carolina called Blackmon Rd where they don’t have running water and electricity. They have a shed they go to for community showers and laundry but they would never expose that on the main stream. All marketing and lies!
Tragic. You aspire to black development.... at the same time using the religion and god that came to sub-Saharan Africa with imperialism, both expanding its impact and rationalizing its depredations of black people. No better example of the deep acceptance of self-hatred and subordination to the white project. Please consider getting a spine. You're better than that.
America is beautiful u think they just stand up and build it for you to come and stay in and enjoy without paying taxes. Good infrastructure ur enjoying didn't come by miracle ooo. Don't try to come to Africa oo. Good advice.
In North America, the system is designed so that we owe the bank for most of what we own and we spend our lives paying interest. Yes, most of us are in debt until we die. Check Forbes list and see what goes on. The majority of black people don't live at the high standard that the white middle-class do. Pass through white middle class areas and see the difference in their homes. They get to go to the better colleges, universities, etc. This goes especially to America.
This is what a experience everyday in the Untied Satans of Americkkka. It’s like a endless war against black/African Americans, based only on how we look. If I were an African parent, I would tell my child to avoid the USA, at all cost. This is a great interview.
n cw why can’t you find opportunities in your own country? Why can’t you hold your African leaders responsible for uplifting the people, so they don’t have to come to the USA and Europe? You are probably white or white washed, your reply to me is ignorant and smells of racism. Read a book on Black American history and you probably won’t make such ignorant comments.
Were not talking about America where talking about Africa and I'm an electrician and it's true they let other countries come in do what they want the government ain't nothing either they need to rise and overthrow them truth is the truth face it and we're fighting back over here not kneeling down and so are blacks across the world wake up if Africa goes then the battle is lost
Most people want to experience America. Teach the young adults not to aspire to be in America. Show the negative things about America and push that image.
My family passed out food at a homeless shelter and there was a brother from Cameroon. I felt so bad for him because I knew that he was sold a lie, and didn’t know what he was getting into by coming here.
Whenever a conversation strikes up about traveling to a foreign country, Instinctively, I always tell my friends and family that I've never admired stepping a foot in America. Not because I hate it, and how would I hate it when I've never been there before, but it strikes me as an intuition that that Country isn't a place to be. In 2019, my then boyfriend lost his life under unknown circumstances, after having stayed there for three years and studying medicine. Until now, am still wondering what really went wrong, coz he was just doing fine and then the next day, he's dead. But to cut the story short, I've never admired that country, and don't think I will ever admire it my entire life. So my dear Africans, let's stay home. Uganda is my Motherland and am so proud of the fact that I am Ugandan.
@Princess Dixon"god" is moot! Imagined. You will be free when you realize that all you have is you, and your people. That's part of what's wrong with black people.

I’m sorry he had to experience that. It a sad we live though this everyday.Even though we have so many protest, looting & letter writing. We do everything to try and make change , but I don’t think it’ll ever change because if the heart and mine don’t change everything will stay the same. They don’t care where you’re from if you are black you just black. That why we need to be more welcoming to each other! 🙏🏾❤️✌🏾
I get angry hearing people continue to think people come with money, they have NO money. Please change that expectation of wanting to bum them for money. Erasmus was awesome.
You said everything I told my brother who is in the US. Racism is hatred, hatred is a heart posture, it is sin. No one can change anybody's heart or cure another human from sin; no amount of protest, letters, media coverage is going to o that, if it weree possible Marthin Luther King would have managed to do it. It is a very sad but true assessment of where we are at as a people
So happy this brother experienced that.. I’m sure it has taught him so much, many of Africa’s and the Caribbean’s most powerful leaders cane to America and experienced this, and it helped them to better understand our enemy and the struggle.. peace and black power my brother!
Whatever this young man is talking is very very true l came hear the same year with him September , is a horrible life and l was asked the same question he was asked (what have you come to do here) and I have been also keep asking what did African doing here which is not in Africa,am from Kenya,am proud of my mother land Africa , Africa is rich .
I’m a new subscriber! This interview means more than you could ever know! As a Black person who descends from enslaved Black people in the US It gives me hope for future generations on the Continent and the diaspora❤️! Truth was spoken!
@AFRICAN TIGRESS - Thank you again for the great work your doing, I just want your guest to know a few things 1. You are not hated because of your skin color, your hated because the hater has envy for your skin color and they do not have it so they project (reaction formation) fear of genetic domination. (fear of a black planet). 2. The reason there is so much wickedness in US is because everything they have is stolen and soaked in other peoples blood 3. Please help advocate for African nations to restore our stolen birthrights, so we also can come and live in peace
Erasmus's perspective gave me chills. It didn't take him long to realize that in Amerikkka, you're not even considered African. You're just a skin color and being black is the wrong color to be in Amerikkka. My spirit is crying to get to get Africa one day.
This is so sad bro, welcome home in Africa....its sad that they kill our people in the US just for their skin color. Here is South Africa 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦 whites hated us too, masacared Africans etc. So I understand the pain brothers and sisters are goin through in that "perfect" land. I also wish AA should come to us in Africa and we shall share all resources we have with them. It pains us to see how they leave over there
@Mike Sibiya My brother I know very well what you are talking about, this Esau nation are so develish and they think because of the skin so they are superior as they claim that. But don't worry soon they are going to get their punishment from GOD. Soon black South African will be crowned, As you saw Miss Universe is black South African, you think why this Jerusalem song is going viral. Its because black people are the real Israelites Africa is Israel not that fake one in the Middle East. I'm so happy about this brother cos he made it coming back home, because Africa will be the GREAT continent soon. Wait and see what is going to happen in the western European countries, if you believe the Word of GOD Jeremiah 51 to the end, actually there are so many Scriptures like Isaiah, Hezekiah etc. All these things are going to happen for real. In fact we've been deceived for decades, that white people are chosen people and black people are curse, which is the other way round they made a lot of lies. And now this is the appointed time for them to suffer this is a payback time. As you see in China there are floods and fire, as I'm talking to you in America there is a fire that doesn't want to quench in California, wait and see the anger of GOD. GOD is the one who is fighting for us, its not even us. This shows that we are the chosen people, we are the real GOD'S people, we are the Royal Priesthood. The Bible says "My people perish for they lack knowledge, if you don't know the Lord start to acknowledge Him and accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour and spread this truth about GOD and that who are we. You think why they created this Corona virus, because they know very well that the real Israelites have to come back which are African American and other Africans who are in the western Europe. Soon things will be fine these Egyptians you see today you won't see them forever.

I love you guys for putting this out here Thank you so much I don't want to see my African brothers & sisters to go through this .....Ever us Black Americans have suffered enough for all our people !!!! 😘🥰❤️💚💛🤍🖤🤎💜💙🌹🥀🌷☘️🌼🌻
All Africans Need to have the experience of living in a western country so that they can see and feel exactly how they are treated because of their skin color. In some cases the disrespect is blatant, but mostly it’s the small things, the little “cuts” day in and day out that really get to you. Now imagine hundreds of years of living like this. Africans don’t really understand the power they have as members of the majority. When they look around, they see themselves everywhere. This is not the reality African Americans live with. In addition America is a tough place to survive economically. . You can make it with a solid education in a strong field of study, but even then you put in long hours at work and it’s very easy to wrack up 80,000 in loans to get through University. Americans live to work, not work to live. The key here is being able to pass a bit of economic wealth on to the next generation.
America is a big freaking lie full of pain and sorrow. Over price land, food, clothes, shoes, house's etc. Why would you leave Africa to come to this place and suffer is beyond me smh.
He mentioned how all the money you make goes to bills.can you have imagine. It doesn't matter if you are poor or not. You can get education, make good career choices and all. The 2nd part is the racism... You never want to be both poor and black in America. It's a desperate situation.
One of the problems for us African Americans is most of us have never experienced life outside of this oppression. To highlight what Erasmus explained is it takes time to see the truth when your in a new experience. Most African Americans only know the environment they’re born in. I say that to say the oppression that we experience, sad to say, is what we know to be normal! On top of the oppression, the fears that come with it mentally handicap many people. so much so that they don’t feel comfortable outside of the known environment / comfort zone. I give thanks for the great work your doing African Tigress and Brother Erasmus from Uganda!!!!!
The Caribbean is a very expensive place to live. I'm from Barbados but live in US. I have chosen Africa for retirement. Much more affordable, and I want to be there.
I’m going to be in both places. I am from Guyana 🇬🇾 South America but I am still considered as being a part of the carribean. I will build in Guyana 🇬🇾 and hold trading forums with All of Africa. But I’ll like to spend my last day in the garden of Eden in the promise land.
This was an amazing, and powerful interview. Erasmus, is an intelligent man who I believe went back home too early. Getting here was half the battle. He should've tough it out for 8 yrs, and fulfill his dreams of become a doctor. Then, go back to be a real impact in Africa. The big money he could've made here would have him confused. It's all about knowing how to fly under the radar. I would love to move to Africa. however, every where as it's pros & cons. I'm still on the fence. I do need to visit and see.
We are political prisoners here, enslaved still, by all of the rent and bills he speaks of. Its horrible here. A person works, only to pay others, for something to eat and a place to rest, so they can continue to make another person rich. If you dont, they make you homeless and chemically dependent on something.
The American dream is a nightmare for most African Americans. And many of us are leaving America for Africa. America only shows the world the good parts - it has so many problems and racism is a big one.
This was a wonderful story. The brother left home and was dissatisfied with his experience but got the motivation he needed to make his best life at home.
We can’t process it either how can you hate someone just because of how they look so much hate for a fellow American that was born here on the same soil as you my family served in the military and still we go through this. In three months I got three driving tickets pulled me over and they would stand there and choose something to give me a ticket for

What you are saying is so true . I too am moving back to the motherland . There is a peace that befalls you when you step on African soil. My heart sings and I feel free. I love what you said . If we don’t stay and build our continent then who will. We are given the illusion of milk and honey abroad and yet it’s far from it . So happy for you that you back home safe and deeply sorry that you encountered such racism . We should and are proud to be African . Many of us are returning to the Motherland 🇿🇼

Being in Africa was the first time in my life I felt free as a black person and after experiencing it I can't stomach living under these conditions in America any longer.
Good for you.
All the best so happy for you
Happy for you..welcome home
Welcome home
I feel exactly the same
Africa for Africans, home and abroad. Africa is the future.
Exactly
For Africa to be for Africans, we should elect or select better leaders. Africa is not only the future , but the past too. Because , humans and great civilizations originated in Africa. 🌍
Pursue the African Dream. Africa is fantastic continent. It is foolishness going US when the whole world is looking to Africa to get resources.
Much truth!!!
The problem with Africa though is the lack of capital that's why many foreigners are able to do better in Africa more than the locals
That’s so true.
@@marcusgarvey7588 I think you are forgetting it depends on where you live in the US. I have middle class friends that can afford a full time nanny. I am in Texas.
@ noted. I am yet to see a normal middle class (teacher ,nurse ,doctor ) person in UK being able to afford a full-time nanny .
Well, brotha, you live and you learn. Glad you returned home! Hopefully your example can keep Afrikans from taking their talent away from the Motherland.
when are you coming to Africa?
You could literally just not pay back and leave lol
welcome to kenya bro
Welcome Eric and all your family to Kenya, don't leave even hen behind Africa is your home you guys down there, don't stay where you're tolerated instead stay where you're embraced

People sleep in the streets, homeless, what about you ? I believe some africans are thriving in USA....isnt it??
@@anthonysavio3875 Yes. I am surviving. But everyone isn't
Ernst Constant exactly
Persian Lion that’s why I want the empire to collapse

I FEEL LIKE FLYING TO AFRICA RIGHT NOW AFTER LISTENING TO THIS BROTHER! THANK YOU AFRICAN TIGRESS ❤
Come back home my brother
I have lived in america and europe and I can say that it isn't easy, now I am driving around Africa solo and it is much better life compared to the rest👌🏿👊🏿👍🏿
ous BOBB If you look at my channel, maybe you can get a few information that is helpful to you. Just do it, because sometimes a lot of planning makes you plan not to come👌🏿👊🏿👍🏿
I used to drive around America solo and I'm a woman. This insanity started on this level when Obama became president and got worse when Trump got in there.
@ous BOBB Where in France are you?? I'm kinda in the same boat
@ous BOBB come in the island called "La Reunion " ,is much cooler here and almost zero racism.
Its the education is all.
A Big Fat Lie. They won't listen to us who live in US. If they insist, it will be known as elective slavery.
tspcocktail hopefully now they will.
MissCPix spot on!!
Bingo!!!!! I'm here waiting for that blue passport to run. Lol
We Africans ought to develop Africa, and not run away!
Take Courage!
O Lord Jesus help us.
God Bless you brother.

U want to develop africa does ur so called leaders want it too keep deceiving ur self wen u no u have beasts as leaders
If not for corona, i had also decided to get back to Africa. Life is so stressful, alot of bills, unhappiness..

Staying and moving back to AFRICA IS DIVINE WISDOM!!! All African Diasporians and African US'ians!!!

1. You are not hated because of your skin color, your hated because the hater has envy for your skin color and they do not have
it so they project (reaction formation) fear of genetic domination. (fear of a black planet).
2. The reason there is so much wickedness in US is because everything they have is stolen and soaked in other peoples blood
3. Please help advocate for African nations to restore our stolen birthrights, so we also can come and live in peace
This is a GREAT interview African Tigress. I am glad he experience what we experience.

Exactly the lie we live. I am praying to be able to go to africa one day.
@@melanierobinson4152 let me know when you’re ready, I’m a Nigerian and will gladly welcome you to my home country of Nigeria.
Great video! He can also write a book on his experience to educate Africans and African-Americans.
He mentioned how all the money you make goes to bills.can you have imagine. It doesn't matter if you are poor or not. You can get education, make good career choices and all. The 2nd part is the racism... You never want to be both poor and black in America. It's a desperate situation.
will you like to visit Africa?
@@nasto4u850 yes it would be a dream come true
@@chantelandphilip can we please link up?
One of the problems for us African Americans is most of us have never experienced life outside of this oppression. To highlight what Erasmus explained is it takes time to see the truth when your in a new experience. Most African Americans only know the environment they’re born in. I say that to say the oppression that we experience, sad to say, is what we know to be normal! On top of the oppression, the fears that come with it mentally handicap many people. so much so that they don’t feel comfortable outside of the known environment / comfort zone. I give thanks for the great work your doing African Tigress and Brother Erasmus from Uganda!!!!!
He better be glad he still alive he was able to talk about his American experience How we treat black and brown people
We are heading home soon. Building my own house and packing my bags.
That's my dream too.
A dream to mi too probably next year for Heavenly sake....Back to my Roots forever and ever.....🙏🙏
Me too, I will never return
The ultimate goal should always be to return to build up and invest in Africa, or the Caribbean Islands, such as Jamaica, Haiti.
The Caribbean is a very expensive place to live. I'm from Barbados but live in US. I have chosen Africa for retirement. Much more affordable, and I want to be there.
@@peggystoutemorin4529 Yes,the Caribbean is expensive but it's home.
@@diannenone7599 Africa is my home too.
@@cecec8384 We have to do what we must.
If you dont, they make you homeless and chemically dependent on something.
peace! great insight my brother
U damn right, thats why homelessness seems to be the norm in this country.
@@angedanielzue9800 absolutely.. it's very dehumanizing

So True!
There are certain parts of the U.S I would never go to. Lousianna, Ohio, Mississippi, Florida is very hard for black men.
Alabama, Tennessee😉
Minnesota. George Floyd was killed here.
Yes Ohio is like hell living here very racist state
The American dream is a nightmare for most African Americans. And many of us are leaving America for Africa. America only shows the world the good parts - it has so many problems and racism is a big one.
Excellent video I shared it on BACK TO KAMA on Facebook.👏🏿
Thank you Erasmus and Tigress for sharing this story.

@@alimahamud9349why was it so easy for millions of Africans to flood into Europe but it’s so hard to go back home???
I love love love this interview!! Thank YOU! I hate that he had to experience what we have to endure here in the U.S. The spirit of hate towards our people is literally felt in this country. I wish Pharoah would just let my people go! Thank you for sharing his story!
🇺🇬 🇺🇬 🇺🇬 The intro just gave me a short time goal;Save to visit Uganda for a month... I've been in Kenya my whole life
Yes dada you should
I was seriously looking for this interview. Nice Interview.
This episode really came through for me as I am planning on moving back to Kenya as well
What you are saying is so true .
Thanks for the video. I wish all those who want to come will listen well. Am living myself between the UK and Germany it hasn't been like home since I left. Home Africa can't be compared.
When are you coming back?
I am actually happy to see this video because you are smiling. You are beautiful when you smile it makes me smile! Keep it up sister. Always smile while interviewing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
PEOPLE come to America for a better life but I wanna go back for a better life
My old friends in Africa don’t know how privileged and happy they are in Africa.
