I appreciate all the suggestions on what to do with the Cricut, but keep in mind this was filmed on Wednesday (several days ago). I have it figured out already.
Bumble Baylee I have a cricut too and it’s not a suggestion on how to fix your setting but with the larger scraps of vinyl you could save and make white Baylee Jae logo stickers.

Don't know why you say the darker ones are mucky 🙈 I actually preffer them over the lighter ones 😝 But!! you work so hard and you don't take short cuts and I admire that 😁
I agree. The darker ones look much better to me. The lighter ones look a little too washed out....
its the camera. the darker ones definitely look better in this video, but she showed these during the livestream, and they looked really dark and bad. the brightness on this camera must be higher
@@Erro exactly, I was like, maybe it's the camera that makes them look better.
Check my picture on Twitter to see the colors better. My vlog camera tends to wash things out. The dark ones are quite muddy.
I thought about it after I left the comment and it did occur to me that it probably WAS your vlogging camera that was washing it out. I retract my statement :P

I was thinking of getting this machine too, its good to see it in action!! My Zing is five years old and just wont calibrate, this seems a lot easier despite the issues haha. Far more intuitive!!
I think it would be easier to make the stickers individual & pack them together in a baggy as a set since the cricket has been giving you problems and ya don't have time ;; it might be better that way you can save up paper and such
just personal opinion but I think i like the darker print more than the like neon bright one :) cute either way!
After watching the struggle with the cricut machine, I am very happy I went for a silhouette. I love being able to kiss cut my stickers and fully cut out the sheets in one pass through the machine. This looks like a nightmare! I hope you find a system that consistently works for you!

Had the same issue with my cricut when trying to print cut, I figured out that sometimes you have to calibrate the machine. I did that and never had a problem again.
One reason its not reading the registration marks because your room is too bright plus the shiny paper, so just pull the top down when its reading the marks
That was suggested in stream and tried. It didn't do anything as the Cricut was just not reading the registration marks at all. If it had been hovering over the area and couldn't find them, then the lighting may have been the issue but it wasn't the case. But it all seems to have been figured out now (touch wood).
We tried that. We tried everything under the sun. It's fine now though. I figured out a system!

I hope the cricut keeps working for you. Once you are a master of it I'd love a tutorial because I tried to use one once and it did not go well.
Try and not use fast mode, I have a cricket like yours and every time I use fast mode there’s usually an issue
Most of my testing was done without fast mode on.

I’m in love with your printer. 😍 I was planning on saving up on an epson one but when I saw your set up and did my research, it would be a bit more expensive and a bit more work required with replacing inks but for the quality and when you can print bigger paper, it’s heaven. 😍 love watching you prep for conventions.

I have the same silpat mats from amazon! They’re great. I got the 3 pack so I can always find one to fit my pan. Plus I can use multiple pans at once if I need to.

The reason that the color is different between standard and photo is because standard is printing in RGB and photo is printing in CMYK. It looks like the business setting also uses RGB. This is something I had a problem with in college classes, where the printed image didn't look the same as it did on screen, but I didn't have the option of printing in RGB. I'm glad that you found a solution. Have fun with your stickers!

When i cut my stickers i first only kiss-cut my stickers and when its finished i feed it back thru and cut the outline. I can change the color on the cutting lines so when i go and cut stuff i can select the cut line (color) i like to cut. I dont know if it works for the cricut too

Not sure if that would be helpful to you, but when I make spaghetti squash, I just remove the top thing that sticks out (don't know what's called), then throw it in the microwave for about 20 min (for every lb you add 5min). It softens the skin and making it easier to cut open and it comes out ready to eat. 😁

Top thing that sticks out is the stem
When using cricut machine you should press finish then start a new project if you dont the machine will cut the new prints the same way it did the previous project so if you dont put the sheets in the same place as the previous project it will cut your new project wonky

If you cut sandpaper with your paper cutter and or scissors that helps clean/ sharpen them:)

*Kind of irrelevant, but I’d like to ask for any advice you may have on the following Baylee. Hypothetically speaking, if you were able to find a small studio space in an office block with other businesses, for 80 dollars per month, all inclusive (rent, electricity and phone line/internet), would you proceed on renting that space, or would you still work from home? And what would your reasons be in doing so? I'm thinking of renting a space for my graphic design business and can't decide between the pros and cons. Thank you in advance*

You can avoid the border overlap by removing the blade on the vinyl mode during the border cut then pausing and putting it back in for the stickers! The machine doesn't know the difference if the blade is in or not so it's not complicated to do~ :>

For the spaghetti squash; I cut mine in half like you did and I put each half at a time for 7 minutes in the microwave. So much faster ;)

What kind of vinyl sticker paper did you buy ?
I know that it's too late, but is there any way to make just the registration number matte? Like with a matte nail polish topcoat?
I'm not sure if this is a thing or not, but I cut with my Cricut in the dark because I find the cast shadow of the cutting box, throws off my registration marks, and makes all my cuts crooked
I dunno about the cricut but i bought a Graphtec CB09 Blade as a replacement blade for my Silhouette CAMEO because it fits into the holder and the replacement blades for the Graphtec CB09 holder is so much cheaper in the long run. Maybe it can fit into your cricut too. If it does fit... the only thing you got to do it manually set the blade and figure out the depth to cut since there are no numbers printed on the sides to adjust. cuttingforbusiness.com/2015/09/14/cb09-blade-holder-and-blades-in-your-silhouette-cameo/

For the round boarder cutting, what if you skipped the kiss cutting the board and just had the deeper cut for the border be the only border cut?
I had the same issues with mine and could not find anything that would help. Even with the same setting, I manually moved my sticker sheet a little and it still cut in the wrong place.
