This song caters to generational female oppression and the rage that has built up in so many of us. That's why women tend to feel connected to this way more than men 🤷🏼♀️
Same, I think every woman has female relatives who were in a relationship or marriage that was toxic, but they could not do much about. I have five examples without thinking much about. And it hurts, it hurts to know it happened and that it could have been me if I had been born earlier.
Reminds me EXACTLY of how my dad treated my mom. Passive/aggressive sit-on-his-assery. And me from the moment I could speak just about, telling her to ‘put her foot down’ and make him do it himself! Always said I’d never be with a man like that, and I never was.
It makes perfect sense to me why AI would connect the two! The similarities are in the well written, poem like, lyrics. The emotion, and depth of talent connects them as well. The most obvious reason is they are connected by the UK.
Paris Paloma is someone I’ve fell in love with very quickly after hearing “the fruits”. Others I highly recommend are “notre dame”, “narcissus”, and her newest release “yeti”.
This reminds me of my mom's two nieces, of my grandmothers generation and all the women before them. And I know very well that I could have been in the exact same situation.
It makes perfect sense to me that this would come up with a “Hi Ren” algorithm but I can’t explain exactly why. My attempts: - LYRICS incredible introspective, intricate lyrics - they’re gaining/gained popularity rapidly - they both speak to a deep unarticulated struggle a lot of people go through - they’re both about someone fighting for their own well-being - when she sits down and starts eating I get the same chills I do when Ren stands up - reclaiming autonomy - empowering - they’re both facing an opponent of sorts I’m still not hitting the nail of the head but it gives “Hi Ren” vibes. And “King” by Florence and the Machine vibes.
I agree first part of song was good but the second part wow I would recommend this artist to others Great reaction it's always good to see reactors do something different
Get on the Chinchilla train man. She's just gone independent and English. She has sung with Ren on How To Be Me and Chalk Outlines. Her Fingers live for Hunger TV is great. Elements, also cool. Her new single just dropped and number 1 in America and Canada steaming charts. She also opened for Sting on his European tour in 2019.
This song reminds me of Clinic (especially Harvest), the mellow Lacuna Coil and Nightwish songs, with a heavy folk edge. She knows her voice so well and stays true to the emotion of the words. Definitely makes me want to investigate more, and I think it's more in tune with what you're looking for with this AI search than you think 🙂
Paris paloma is the best singer in the world i know the most of her songs and is similar nadiiife and Dune Moss all that singers is so good i love them so much and i am a big fan
Now, first of all that is an interesting approach to finding new material for reactions and listening... and the suggestion of the AI led you to an amazing artist I had never heard of before but certainly will explore further on my own. The only similarities with "Hi Ren" for me are a) the visuals, the atmosphere of the cinematography, and that she is somewhat unique and sticks out of the mainstream sauce... and like Ren she got a very good voice, not at all similar in tone or character, but similar in quality, like Ren she really know how to use her voice for maximum effect. Very nice layering (that reminds me more of Chinchilla, an independent artist who featured with Ren for a couple of times, but has an amazing catalogue of solo performances as well... I'm not AI, but if you want to discover a really great unique artist you should check her out... also, she's "Ren approved", not only did he choose her to realize some amazing duets (Chalk Outlines, How To Be Me and more), but also he promoted her trending new solo release "Little Girl Gone"... Her "Fingers" (live) performance is breathtaking as well... Peace and love from Bavaria, subbed, I wanna see where this goes...
This may not have been what you were expecting the AI to bring you but bc of the song, the algorithm put you in my recommendeds and youve got a new sub❤

I love this song. Just about sums up my marriage.
this man is enchanted but i love women and am queer...inspired by the fruits. I found her off kiki rockwell
Paris Paloma is incredible, and terribly underrated. The Fruit is a beautiful piece dealing with cult/religious trauma.
As a women I feel so connected to this song. Especially looking back at my family history.

This is the best song I’ve ever heard in my 38 years.

Thank you for your feedback! I'll be doing part 6 in the series this week! I'm excited to see what comes out the AI algorithm next!

I recommend reacting to the song artist Naomi Jon she is amazing 🤩 😊
I love this series! This song was a challenge for me because I couldn’t pick out the vocals from the mix. The second half was better for sure.
Not my cup of tea either but not bad. Sounds more folk
Radio? What’s that?
Lol
