Adult Ceremony embroiled Park Ji Yoon with huge controversy because she was so very young when the company released that song and it nearly ruined her and her career since it was heavy on sexual innuendos and acts and yeah, part of the variety shows had her sit on a man while she sang. For RM to invite her to do his last song on Indigo about not looking back and having no regrets of the past is chef's kiss. That song makes me tear up for her.

Here to help make the “jimin, you got no jams” comment even better for you because a lot of people don’t know this, the word for fun/funny in Korean is 재미 = jaemi. So RM was making a play on words here by basically saying, “hey jimin you’re no fun. you’re not funny.” but made it english and funny as hell.

Okay before i continue watching, Im okay with reactors reacting to other groups esp if you’re really curious about their music or performances. There’s nothing wrong with that. However, armys are wary of reactors doing this cos they usually do this to get views from other fandoms too after gaining thousands of army subscribers. That’s why we’re careful w/ reactors who react to multiple groups. But in your case Loui, I think you’re genuinely curious, so go ahead, it’s your channel. I’m ARMY, and when I first got into BTS, i also tried to check out other groups but it wasn’t just it for me. If your content is something I don’t like or take interest in, i just won’t simply watch it. No hate to you or the group. Ateez are BTS fans too btw. I know that about them.

If I don't want to watch a certain video you put out, I'll either skip it, or just have it going in the background while I do something else so you still get the engagement for the channel. I'm personally not a fan of Ateez, but I know a lot of people are, both for their music and as people. I hope you like it. I will always prefer your BTS content, but I watch some of your others, like your Rotten Mango ones, and other crime related ones. it's your channel, Loui. you can do and watch whatever you want. I know how much you love music and how much you enjoy exploring it, so go for it, go react to other musicians! although I did have an experience where a reactor who used to be my all time favorite stopped reacting to bts after they started reacting to other groups, and while it made me really sad but at the end of the day it's also their right to do whatever they want on their channel. though I highly doubt you'd be like that too because I know for a fact you're in this bangtan sonyeondan shit for life 😂 also, if I'm not a fan of someone or something you reacted to, I just don't watch the video. simple as that. I'm absolutely not going to get mad and spread negativity on your channel 😂 cuz I'm a real one ON GOD

well, the thing about reactors reacting to other groups AFTER watching/gaining viewers from BTS is that, they always use us. Ofc everybody will gain the trust of ARMY then boom. So, if you'll react to other Kpop groups, you can. Though one thing is, if your channel will be categorized as a "MULTI FAN" it's gonna be difficult for you. Like, more fandoms will come at you saying this and that, "you said u like this but how come u like this blah blah" things like that. Ive seen A LOT of reactors suffer from that. They cannot be THAT HONEST anymore after reacting TO BUNCH OF KPOP GROUPS. Except those channels who really stick with bts and is very vocal that "BTS IS MY GROUP". Just a friendly advise. Be well

I may have said this before, but I found BTS during the darkest time of my life (pandemic, mom with alzheimers who died suddenly of covid, only child left home, etc). I was left alone but they filled the void. There is something magical about them. They're talented, yes, but many are talented. I think it's just a perfect combination of talent, hard work, openness and vulnerability, just being good people and sharing themselves with us. And they're actually saying something in their music. Anyhoo, keep up the good work & thanks for being here!

Jonathan it's not easy to understand just what the grassroots movement was. You couldn't get kpop albums in Target and Walmart and such back then. There was no distributor and obviously they wouldn't be selling sth that didn't have demand. International ARMYs literally went to their local store every single day after work or school and asked them to ship in BTS albums. That's when they were like "okay what's happening? What is this about?" and how you got BTS sections in every store. No agency did that. ARMY did that. Requesting radios, putting up billboards. Literally ARMY was their biggest advertisors.

They were most likely tired af, but they got to work immediately; AHL was a good experience for them in the great scheme of things. One of their best albums, *_Dark & Wild_* was produced simultaneously with this show. I still don't know how they pulled this off.

@Tribe Loui, I just wanted to say that I’m kind of one of the silent people that just watch your channel Because I find you amusing and I enjoy the content that you put out on your RUclips channel!
I think I wanted to talk to you about is that a lot of people don’t know that that particular village has a lot of residents that are A lot of elderly woman who live alone . That these grandmas who some of them have never been married a lot of them who are over the age of 90 some of them that live there at that time May have now passed away were considered “comfort woman“ that was the term that was used back in World War II when Japanese occupied Korea from 1910 to 1945 , These women who were at that time during World War II were very very young and they were taken by the Japanese to be comfort women for the Japanese soldiers . “Comfort woman“ was a term to be used like a sex slave and since they were occupied by the Japanese they had no say so !!young girls were offered to the Japanese soldiers.
It’s a very controversial and sad situation that happened and Japan doesn’t want to recognize it they have trade with South Korea and there has been some difficulties with restitution given to the comfort women.
It’s a very sensitive subject and I’m not saying that every elderly woman that lives in that area was a comfort woman !
BTS recognized the situation by giving back food &water ,cleaning the small little shack they live in these elderly women who are unable to clean for themselves and BTS ‘give back and do and help whenever they could in this was during 2014 so this was when the company still was not secure financially but they still helped.
I hope you will continue with your journey with BTS I know there are other Korean popular groups out there for you to react to but there are so many other reactors out there who will do BTS and use them for views and subscribers knowing that the BTS ARMY will come and watch the reaction on the RUclips channel. I’m not saying that is what you’re going to do but we have come across so many people who have done that to us in the past so it’s like we’ve been burned so many times when we come to RUclips channels and the reactors are just using BTS . After a while the reactor will get tired of BTS and just move on!
So please understand I’m not saying that you will do this but I know that there are other Korean popular groups that you would like to react to. RUclips channels that react to BTS and then they stop reacting to BTS after they have gotten their channel to surpass a lot of subscribers. Please don’t forget that BTS was the first Korean popular music group that put you on the map!💜

American Hustle life made sure they weren’t playing at Hip Hop and that was necessary for the maknae line. Also I feel like they really took those lessons to hard. They are still very humble and try to stay grounded and true to being an artist. Also Cypher 3 coming after their experiences in LA really helps add extra swag. A lot have pointed out how army have seen many times over how reactors build up a subscriber base and then use that to move onto getting more attention by reacting to other kpop groups - but you know this because you watched the boracity video that outlines why reactors are problematic in army space. It's your channel and being curious is good (after all, armys are lovers of music!!), but know that with that you'll be receiving more divisive attention as other fandoms beg you to react to their faves or try to set you or bts up (some even pretend to be army and leave gross comments in the hope it turns people against army and Bangtan. This is something they've done again and again). It will be tempting to be defensive as it must feel like an attack to not have people implicitly trust you, but this is something I hope you show understanding about, even though it's difficult. It's a shame you have other reactors' shadows casting on you, but this is the reality of the environment you're in, I'm afraid. It sucks. But if you can navigate something that delicate path, you'll have an enriching experience, I'm sure (even if it just reaffirms how much you love BTS, which is also a nice thing to realise/makes your bond stronger!).
Personally, it would be cool to see you react to people who have influenced or worked with Bangtan/a member so your understanding becomes richer - Epik High, IU, Nell, The Rose/Woosung, Seo Taiji, and so on. These are all people or bands that have the same ethos and involvement towards their music that we've seen from BTS. I've honestly been waiting for you to discover Epik High since the Tablo Suchwita episode :) anyway, thanks for the new vid!!

im just starting the rise of bangtan part but i like ur thoughts on ahl and i hope u continue to react to it since its something u like. i really get the mixed feelings about american hustle life, but even if it can be hard to watch (ive never done it fully mostly just thru clips, even thru my like 8 years of armyhood) its an experience im ultimately glad the boys had to have for them to really learn about hiphop and not only avoid being culturally insensitive but also to come away with a larger appreciation for the art form a lot of their own music is based in. and i honestly think its one of the many miraculous reasons why a group of mostly nonmusicians originally ended up so passionate about music, and they continued to throw themselves into that work from the beginning.

"Gayo" in Korean literally just means "let's go" but it has connotations of the kpop music show "Inkigayo" (meaning "popularity let's go") which is why it's translated as "kpop" because the show is about BTS teaching the viewers about kpop with fun games 👍

I don't know where you got that from but 가요 doesn't mean "let's go", it refers to songs that people played during prosperous times which eventually morphed into modern pop music. 인기가요 is basically just "pop music" or "pop songs".
가요 may mean "let's go" in SOME context but Koreans will mostly not use it for that meaning, preferring either 가자 or something like 갈까요? or 갑시다. 가요, as a verb, will most often either translate to a simple statement or question.

Sometimes I check out other groups in reaction channels I watch...most of the time I can’t finish the videos Cos I don’t like the music or video is over the top. But sometimes they are good. I saw one from a girl group that was pretty awesome. I am not a multi, I’m not a kpop fan. Only groups I like are BTS and New Jeans. If you want to try a girl group I recommend New Jeans. I think what can get complicated is when you start attracting different fandoms and fan wars start in the comments...good luck with that.

You can react to whatever you want, we're here to watch it. I might start getting into other stuff by watching you because you just make it so much more enjoyable.
Tbh, the only reason I haven't watched much outside of BTS and Rotten Mango (on your channel) is that I have a tendency of binge-watching videos when I'm supposed to study (specially yours, they are addictive). Almost failed a test once because I was binge watching your videos but oh well... I didn't fail so it was still worth it😂

Idc if you react or try to get into other groups bc thats what I did after I got into bts, just to warn you you're probably going to be disappointed bc the music wont be as good. Especially all the noise music and corny lyrics its so ass but you do you I guess.

If you don't like groups, you might like solo artists better. Recommend Bibi if you haven't heard her yet, she writes her own music - Kazino, Jotto, Vengeance, Animal Farm.
Hwasa's collabs with rapper Loco are also really good - Don't and Lemon.
The most addictive song I heard last year was BTBT by B.I. His dance practice video for it blew me away, though they use the version of the song that has a Soulja Boy feature for the dance practice (I prefer the original version of the song)

I wouldn’t be mad if you reacted to Ateez. I am always army first and foremost but I do like some songs from a couple of other groups, Ateez being one of them. Txt as well. I wouldn’t say I’m a member of their fandoms but I have seen all three groups in concert and they are really good - BTS is always going to be superior in my eyes.

One of the worst things on youtube is reactors being made to feel bad (on their OWN CHANNEL) for reacting to multiple groups, especially if they happened to find BTS first. It’s just sick and small-minded to think that BTS are the only group out there who have amazing content.
BTS would be proud of the fact that people get introduced to kpop through them so fake ARMYs have no place to criticize anyone for exploring other music.
No one makes you subscribe to a channel and if you don’t like it, leave. End of story. The ones who stay are the ones who actually like the reactor (and real talk, most ARMYs love more groups that BTS).
And no, that background music for BTS GAYO isn’t supposed to be there. If you watch on K Pop Memories channel it’s not there.

  • @lealarsen2017

you can react to whatever you want, but i have noticed that army tend to leave the reactor when they don´t do BTS anymore. multistans will of corse enjoy it. but for army only, it means less BTS content and over time you will stop getting as many notifications from YT. so it is only natural.
I will however still watch your BTS reactions i know you will still do them and i enjoy your journey 😊

Don't worry about being curious about other groups or solo artists, music it's to enjoy and discovering is something that I always like to do, even the members of bts listen and support some junior groups💖
I think you showed us how genuine you are, I'm enjoying this journey and I hope you do it too, I hope you do whatever you want to do that brings you joy, that's the whole point. I personally stan BTS since 2021, this year I started to stan TXT too, they're a wholesome group, very chaotic and funny, their choreographys are insane and their song have deep lyrics and meanings since the beginning, I watched their concert in cinemas and I fall in love with them💓 I also listen and dance Seventeen songs (the second successful self made group of the industry after BTS), I love Ateez too
And for solo artists, Iu is the queen, Colde and DPR IAN are my fav

He's already reacted to other kpop stuff though, like Blackpink, Mamamoo, Ateez, Hwasa, etc. So this isn't something new that's just popping up now. He said from the beginning this isn't going to be a BTS only channel.

@@janetuss6496 Many of us are BTS-exclusive tho. If it's not entirely BTS focused, I can just watch John Oliver, PBS Eons or Dimension 20 instead of random RUclips channels with zero educational or entertainment value. It's valid to abandon channels that don't cater to your interests.

I can see the quality/meaning in the lyrics... other than that.. please stay true to yourself and avoid becoming a multi stan... thats the worst kinda reactors.
And even if you listen to other Kpop groups... you'll realise BTS spoiled it cause theres literally no comparison to them. Cheers💜

The only thing i'll think about in the context of you reacting to/enjoying Ateez and other boygroups out there is just me questioning your taste in music in my mind tbh lmaoojkdk i know you got taste but you know.... but i guess Ateez ain't as bad as Stray Kids or NCT. Important tho, be aware that these boygroups do be doing black culture appropriation in the big year of 2023

Personally, I'm not interested in reactions to other idol acts and I tend to abandon channels that suddenly want to diversify because it's clearly for the views. You do you, but it's not content I seek out.

    • @tampeezy
      @tampeezy Год назад +1

It’s okay that you’re not interested and you’re free to go. But he’s not suddenly wanting to diversify. Look at his channel; his interests have always been very diverse.
He’s addressed this multiple times and understands the skepticism coming from some viewers. But who you fear he’d turn into, that’s just not him. And if you watch his content and pay attention to what he says, anyone would know he clearly has never been in it for the views.

    • @borasaekfarmer7278

@@tampeezy Cool. I'm a working adult that has limited time after work and I'll absolutely and completely vet what I'm spending those precious 6 hours of me time.
I'm not interested in K-pop because somebody close to me, a K-pop fan, abused me emotionally over being an ARMY. It's a triggering topic for me to a point I get nauseous just looking at idols. I won't waste time on people who get into K-pop. I find true crime problematic, the comedians he watches are mediocre...so yes, I won't stick around just because he seem nice on camera. I don't know him in person but choosing to do K-pop after people explained to him how f_cked the industry is says something.

Imo, the dislike of AHL is not warranted. The show was mostly scripted. Tae being the "dumb blond" was a joke for the show. He laughed every time he got insulted, and he leaned into it quite a lot. The kidnapping - most of them were in on it. You can see in the filming they switch seats so there were different takes. The girls they picked up for the video, pre-arranged. I could go on...the point is people are over-reacting and buying into the reality show smoke and mirrors. The essence of AHL is actually good and showcases their talents and growth really well.
