Lexus will be a completely unrecognizable #luxury car brand by 2030 than what it is in 2023 and 2024. Here's a preview of what's to come from #toyota luxury division, Lexus.

I agree with your take on the LC, it is truly a car to get romantic about. None of these new concepts or models are giving me the same feeling. Long live the Lexus LC 500
You know whats funny? The v8 version is literally as good as ferrari roma
Youre literally paying a third for the same car although i would argue that roma’s back is more beautiful than lc500’s back yet lc’s front is definitely more beautiful than roma’s front
The sound of its engine is i would say 90-95% as good as roma’s and i definitely love the tan lc500 interior to roma’s
I test drove both back to back in one hour! And roma was the first i drove
And i still felt this good about lc500😍
The other models are heavily underrated
Lc/rc. Aston martin looks
I’m literally interested in NONE of the vehicles shown in this video for one reason or another. PEV/BEV = Barf. Giant family hauler = Barf. Software designed vehicle = Barf. Giant computer screens everywhere = Barf.
@cqc2238 yeah it's not very tasteful
Excuse me but you just said that Hyundai makes a better car than Lexus. What planet are you from? Good day Sir.
Fr dis bech negga tripping.
Probably the luxury cars of Hyundai… the GENESIS LINE UP.
I’m blocking this guy just for that 😂
Going full EV is a foolish gamble
Nothing beats the LC500 - that's it.
The LFA...
@@Hjooliganthat’s a category of it’s own and it’s not available lol
Really hoping to see the possible F variant of this IS. Or a replacement for the GS F.
I wish. F right now is on life support.
Go grab an IS500 if you can, an IS-F would be better - but a clean one is more expensive than its worth. Any new F I bet will have the V6 Turbo which is just not the same...
@@MisterSkizzelsToyota just patented a twin turbo v8 so I don’t think so
I like the current exterior design of the IS too much. Its the best looking compact executive sedan I've ever seen in my opinion. I hop they dont ruin it.
If they gave it the V35 TTV6+10AT, rear led turn signals, and the Lexus Interface infotainment system, it would literally be perfect. Even if they put in the 500h multistage hybrid from the LS/LC, I’d still be happy because either powertrain would provide better performance and MPG than the current IS350 AWD.
@@TheNaveelttil That one is expensive though, and is a pretty huge bundle. Probably needs to borrow the 500's front panel...may as well be called the IS500h
No more spindle grille?
i love mine
love lexus
i just begged lexus to turbocharge the is350 before they go electric on the lexus brand engagement website
I personally think the LS is here to stay, the LS is the car that started the whole brand and is very recognizable to the brand, cancelling it wouldn’t make too much sense to me even tho it doesn’t sell well but full size luxury vehicles weren’t made to sell well, it is a testament to the brand and its ability to build a world class sedan, hence whey Genesis even bothered to make a second gen G90, cos the G90 doesn’t sell well but all the technology and design brings attention to the brand, plus having your flagship vehicle be a FWD Camry based sedan doesn’t really scream flagship to me
With the Crown continuing to be a RWD sedan, Lexus can easily have the LS as flagship.
It HAS to stay. It's the car that put Lexus on the map. I hope to God they go all out on it and bring back it's legendary status.
LS is dead. I do not see them on the road at all. And Luxury Sedans are already a niche, with EV hype. LS cannot afford to stay alive. Look at what happened to GS, NA market bought ES FWD based Sedan and Lexus killed the RWD performance GS and with it GS F also dead. Lexus is not the brand it was and it will never be the old LS 430 ever again, that time has passed. Look at the RX 2023, issues galore with the new Hybrid engine, and the dash issues, IS 500 has apron issues despite being in a tried and tested IS platform. Newer Toyota engines use 0W-20 oil the 5W-30 is not being used anymore except some Asian Toyota Diesel vehicles. The electronics as a mess, there's a recall on the 1.3M Toyotas a few days back.
@lostalx
You're making it sound worse than what it really is.
The IS500 issue was ironed out after the first batch of 2021.
The hybrid issues are nearly non-existent for the RX and it's one of the best performing hybrid systems in terms of efficiency and so is the RAV-4.
GS and GS F had to die with the ES being their best seller for mid-sized sedans and the IS got stretched for those who want a RWD sedan.
@@lostalx they killed the GS because buying the Crown sedan was more worth it because in Japan the crown sedan is still RWD, while the Lexus GS is on the same platform as the crown sedan (220 gen), for now the crown sedan (2024 version) uses the same platform as the Lexus LS with RWD
The LS needs to look like a LARGE IS; not as an ES. The new IS design is quite possibly the best they ever made along with the LFA.
Full electric lineup will never happen.
I bought a brand new LS500 this year and its such a great car !! Best car I ever had.
Congrats Adam. It's my dream car. Hoping my start in real estate investing will eventually allow me to afford one. God bless you 🙏
I am living for the LFR right now
Lexus IS DOING Better THAN EVER and upcoming models will be excellent .. 👌. Excellent video krik.
Just picked up our RX450H+... LOVE it!!! Just arrived after an 1100 mile trip averaging ~65 miles per hour (much of the time going 80 or so) and we averaged 31 MPG at that speed! VERY impressive! The car drives amazing.... smooth and extremely quiet (even with winter tires on).
God I envy you
I know Lexus has different goals than Toyota but I wish they would also give us hydrogen and PHEVS in the future
They probably will give us phevs but I don't see them selling hydrogen any time soon due to the very limited filling stations
Hydrogen is hella bad there’s no infrastructure and money invested compared to ev. Hydrogen will be the next after ev resources run out. It’s also more expensive. Not a lot stations worldwide. You can’t set one up in your garage easy and cheaper.
Can't wait to trade in my Model 3 for a refreshed ES, tired of electric
Great choice!
already? lol
Are you able to charge at work or home for free? Or are you a public charger user?
Insurance on electric cars after 2030 is going to be insane. 1-2 year old Hyundai Ionic getting totaled for scratched battery when you drive over a pothole…
4:12 that hatchback thing in the middle is such an incredible design. I love it
I wish they would redesign or have a major refresh for the IS. If the RC replacement comes, why would you not have a sedan on that same platform? Sedans sell much better too. TTV6 or even Turbo 4 cyl in a rwd sedan with new lexus tech and design would be awesome for lexus!!
A totally new ICE IS would be a great thing. Once it was rumored it would share the I6 and RWD platform with Mazda, that too would be a great car. A new Mazda 6 would also be possible.
@@MercOnethats a possibility but if a new IS or RC comes then itll probably have the TTV6. Either way id be happy
They already build a 4 cyl turbo. It's used to be called a 200t but now is a 300 in rwd. Its available for both Is and Rc cars.
Def waiting for a new RCF replacement in the M4 category. Never got into the LC500 just didnt do it for me preferred the F cars. But combining the categories makes sense. We shall see!
I’m in wLove with the IS line. Hopefully the interior gets a redesign. I already think they are some of the best “looking” sedans ever made. I daily a 2016 200t. So to me, I feel like if I buy a newer one it wouldn’t feel much like a newer car.😂
Lexus is missing the mark when they say "were going full EV by 2030". So many people can't have an EV where they live. It's not sustainable or practical. Like Canada!!!
Governments are missing the mark.
As an Rc350 owner I hope they dont discontinue the RC line. I actually traded in my Is350 because I liked the looks of Rc350 better.
I need to know is now a good time to buy the refreshed LC500???
UX 300h would be great! Especially with a little refresh or stretch.
Lexus needs a flagship which is a must despite what you think
A Lexus long wheel based body on frame would be something that I would like to see.
Can't wait to see the finalized LC+RC coupe.
Interesting tech for sure in the all electric by 2030. I just can't see the infrastructure in place here in the states by then. It's really going to be tough to be all electric and dump all ICE vehicles.
The LX600 desperately needs a new gauge cluster and maybe a screen that’s the same as the NX and RX
Do the sedans have updated interiors yet?
I am simply waiting for the RC F replacement at this point. A Lexus Badged Prius Prime would be great
LC convertible is the absolute best. I love mine. Kirk, go and buy yours.
Awesome!!
Really makes me sad to think they're going full EV with Lexus
I always had hope we would get something like the original IS300 (the Mark X GRMN was kind of that but we never got it) inline 6, manual sedan
How long will the IS 500 last? I want to get one new.
My '22 IS500 is a Dinosaur 🤔, but i still love it, see ya on down the road!
It still looks great tho. Better than its newer competitors which says a great deal. I agree its old but id still be happy sporting one.
Ya i placed an order on a 24 is500 for a June pickup, it bothered me at first but i still want it pretty bad
Really hoping their making a 25 is500 wanting to pick one up myself
@@kalebanderson6680 yup i was worried all last year it wouldn’t come 2024
@@yasirkhan1551 dude I hope it comes in 25 January first ima be at the dealership buying one if so
I think we'll see the NX refresh in 2025MY alongside the LX refresh. The 700h is supposed to be this ~500hp monster flagship with the latest tech and features unlike what it's today compared to the GX.
Also according to a source, Japanese dealers have been notified that the LS redesign has been postponed from 2024 to 2025 or later. That actually matches what Lexus USA said about the LS being put on the backburner for a year or two but not killed. I suppose it'll get the TTV6 hybrid or maybe even go fully electric. I think we'll also see an LX version of the Land Cruiser SE concept.
Now for something I've been wondering about since the LF-ZC was revealed. How will it co-exist with the new IS? I thought it would maybe become the new IS but apparently not.
Most likely int ht future that Lexus flagship series will be replaced by a BEV, namely the Lexus LF-ZL which has a special chassis for a full size sedan or SUV as explained by supercarblonde
if the new LC looks anything like that imma cry its gorgous!!!!!
EV in 5 years , the demand is not going well . Hybrid is the future.
Hey Kirk how do you get the rolling shots of the cars driving ?
Promo vids. Copy paste.
I pray that you are right and that the HZ is a hatchback / wagon variant of the IS and that they choose to bring it to the US. They can even revive the name Sportcross.
thank you Krik, so coming on the way, you will talk about future Subaru, Mazda and Nissan as well? 😍😍😍 love to see you foresee the future😁😁
Didn’t a CARB listing get posted recently saying that the CX-70 is getting the CX-90 engines?
That LC500 convertible is my dream car!
Since the new GX is basically the same size as the LX, it would be nice to see the LX transition to the Sequoia platform to have a proper full size luxury SUV. Maybe then they can make an extended version to go against the Escalade ESV, Navigator L and Grand Wagoneer L.
Uh....it's already on that platform. The LC, LX, Sequoia, Tundra are already on the same platform.
I'm really anxious to see what the new ES and IS are like. I've got an i4 right now which I absolutely love but I drive a lot. Getting something from Lexus for my next DD that's preferably a plug in hybrid would be fantastic if it fits my needs.
Whatever they do, they just need to bring the FORGED CARBON FIBER INTERIOR BACK
I share your sentiment regarding TX hybrid only available as a 6-seater. Ridiculous. I hope you take every opportunity to share your feelings about this with Lexus so that maybe someday we'll see a 7-seater.
I think that releasing the TZ and then within a year releasing the new platform is stupidity. The TZ is a big 3 row meant for long drives, so it needs range. The only way it has chance of beating things like the r1s, model x etc. is by ensuring the best range and efficiency.
Kirk, what do you think will be the last model year for the pure V8 LC500?
I think 2025 or 2026 will be the last year.. LC500 is dead gorgeous
Kirk, If you were still selling Lexus products, you would be very excited about the best selling NX and RX. 😉
Best selling?😂
@@Quinton0520 the RX is the best selling in the segment and the NX has always been right behind it but this year it has done EXTRAORDINARILY well with it's best sells since it's release.
Are they going to refresh the NX in 2025 on exterior? The 2024 RX LOOKSrelly nice.
I want a new interior in the NX. I think the UX is better than the NX because it has a nicer interior. And that hatchback concept looks like a new CT.😍
Yes, go all electric but keep the LC500 internal combustion. That exhaust sound!
for me Lexus lc is real supra 12:38
So what’s happening with the es????
refresh or redesign around in 2025, but lexus is being quite about it.
Well I hope the LC + RC replacement has a convertible version.
See if those hybrids can make it to 300k, Iam going to get one of the last V8s LX,IS, or LC if I can afford it
Any update regarding solid state batteries?
2027 and low volume
IS better still have the v8 model bc that’s what I’m wanting
Rumor has it that it's going to the TTV6 😢 I'm sure it will still rip but still
patiently waiting for the hybrid IS
Lexus is so delicious 😋 yum yum 🤤
Likely that many manufacturers will pump the brakes on all electric. The buying public is not particularly interested. Going to be interesting to watch unfold.
I Love you Halo helmet 😍 and the pic of Toyota Land Cruiser and you RGB lights of you PC case.
The LF ZC looks really good to me.
I want the GX 550! ❤😍
Why am I not seeing your videos pop up??? Really frustrating. I feel like I have to search for them.
Need a lexus minivan!
I would love to see the return of the GS
I really hate those box looking wheel wells. When your tires are circle but yoir got box wheel wells lmao.
I don’t see Lexus being all electric by 2030,it’s all talk in my opinion. I can see more hybirds and phev,,full EV’s in large volumes not going to happen. To start out with ,where is all the charging infrastructure? Infrastructure of charging stations should be plentiful before any manufactures build all these EV’s in high numbers. How does building all these EV’s make any sense at all with so few charging stations?
It is still 6 years away, lots can happen until then
This LC+RC replacement is estimated by that article to be 1.5 billion yen (little over 100k USD at 148 yen/USD right now). These articles tend to be optimistic about the price so it'll be higher than that. US price probably will be even higher than the price in Japan assuming the car will be available in both markets. Example is the Toyota Crown while the USD has appreciated against the yen and stayed high for a fairly long time, Crown's price is calculated as if it is still at 115 yen/USD. So let's add about 20% premium to the 1.5 billion then use 115 yen/USD and you get price that is 156k for the _base_ model of this RC+LC replacement.
What's the thumbnail?
My neighbor just got a Lexus TX in black and it looks soo much better in person 😩
as long as they keep hybrod / gas only versions, theyll dominate
they need evs and hybrids not gas
@@Quinton0520 asians dont care about batteries. this is a EU N.American problem. keep few gas variants in asia we're good.
Hope is class has a performance hybrid variant
What happened to that BEAUTIFUL LF1-Limitless
Theres a Crown RWD sedan in Japan rn...that means a GS is likely making a return in some sort within the next few years
10:03 this 3d render looks exactly like the production lotus eletre
I want a GS sport sedan replacement with hybrid, plug-in hybrid and pure EV powertrains.
I'd love to see an updated IS but not electric only. They should give us a hybird and plug-in instead
When Lexus brings back a manual I’ll take a look…as BMW phases them out it’s perfect timing!
Waiting for a new LS !!!!
Interesting to hear the Genesis is better than the LS. The Genesis seems to have alot more focus, attention and drive to make it stand out where I feel like the LS is made just because every big brand has to have a flagship but Lexus doesn't really care about it.
Oddly, the TZ looks like the new Acura ZDX and the new LC/RC coupe resembles the 2007 Acura Advanced Sports Car that was rumored to be the NSX successor (but did not happen).
When is the new ES coming
2025 ish
Considering trading in my ‘21 Heritage Land Cruiser for a GX550…
I have one too; I put a deposit on the GX. But not convinced on the GX…
@@ccabz08 I know. The gx looks good, but the LC is a proven platform,,, with a v8.🤔
DON’T.
The GX550 is great but not as good as the flagship LCs America used to get, including yours.
@@a.f.s.3004 I considered the LX600 before getting the HE (even put a deposit on that one too) but that v8 is just sweet (yes im a sucker for v8s)
what about a Lexus pick-up truck
I would love too see a rivian fighter.
Hopefully the new LC+RC replacement is a real M4/911 competitor this time.
Its really disappointing that they will become an electric manufacturer. Their smooth and reliable engines and transmissions was what made Lexus Lexus. I think this all electrification will be the end for many automakers. Jaguar, Lexus, Volvo all making bad decisions not keeping atleast half their models gasoline.
I wish the LC hybrid came as a convertible with the ability to easily disconnect the safety-noisemaker thing. Unfortunately, the law in the US dictates that the car has to make a sound, but maybe we can lobby to have the sound turn off when the top is down because visibility is so good. (Or maybe when the car costs over $100k because operator will drive more carefully in such a vehicle. Wouldn’t it be cool to creep around in a parking lot with the top down in silent mode?
The NX does need a majour refresh....
90% of this news sounds depressing and forced. Japan finally releases a 4.0L v8TT but it’s not for the public. We Lexus is going fully electric by 2030……… is this really our reality?
The point of the TX is to have 3 rows of luxury for full sized humans. They already have vehicles for 7 passenger kid carriers.
And no, they’re going to “refresh” the NX for 2024 because they already did that for 2022. The NX was one of the first to get the new refresh and the other models are catching up to the NX.
I just wish Lexus would really create a set of vehicles to truly compete with the AMG's and M's. Lexus needs a HALO car.
Living in Tokyo you have a better chance of winning the lottery. Literally anything you'd want from Toyota or Lexus has many, many months of waitlist. So I bought a Macan at deep discount delivered the next week. Couldn't be happier.
When we visited Japan back of Oct 2023, we didn’t see much folks driving. A lot of folks were traveling by subway. Rarely see cars like in the states. Cars that we seen most are usually very small cars or Benz lol.
Modernize the IS350 interior please!
If they bring out the all new IS coupe and hatchback as hybrids.. order is going out.
Fun fact: The Lexus IS (and LFA) is the only Lexus model (as far as I know) that has not been touched by a hybrid system
There is an IS hybrid. FYI
If they make the new rc+lc it has to be lighter. They made great improvements on the rc with better handling later on but still heavy and a Frankenstein. If they get the wheelbase right with a lighter body, they will be golden. They were on the right path. 💁♂️ just no risks were taken for a long time.
They could do that sure, but here's the problem, how much will it cost for those changes? We've seen what lexus has done to the RCF with the track edition,so how much of a jump will the RCF's price take once they've done those changes afterward.
@carboydorifutoparty3976 probably try for the og pricing before covid. Top the line twin turbo v8 base. Hopefully 80k base car around IS pricing. 5k to 10k more probably. If not then they just got rid of a platform for nothing which i doubt. Time will tell.
