In Jesus' prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus said: "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me, yet not my will, but yours be done." How do you interpret this verse? Even though Jesus ended his prayer by submitting to the will of the Father, the desire to escape crucifixion had crossed his mind. Jesus once rebuked Peter for wanting to protect him from the people who wanted to crucify him. This rebuke is serious, because it claims that Peter's mind was possessed by the devil. In this way, Jesus' mind could still be infiltrated by the devil. And it is proven that Jesus was tempted in the desert by the devil. Isn't the worldly desire also a result of original sin? How can Christians say Jesus is 100% God, 100% human, while on the other hand they say Jesus did not sin?
@@parkjul718 : Think a bit rationally. If Jesus rebuked Peter from trying to interfere in what Jesus had to face, why would any idea of escaping from death have crossed Jesus' mind? That would make no sense. Jesus didn't want to die on the charges that were levelled against him. That of being a blasphemer. That would bring reproach on his God's name. Jesus was SENT by God to die and offset Adam's sin. (Matthew 20:28) Just as the Son of man came, not to be ministered to, but to minister and TO GIVE HIS LIFE AS A RANSOM in exchange for many.” Christians never say or believe that Jesus was God. That is what the apostate church came up with. Compare Acts 20:30. Christians are DISCIPLES of Jesus. Not his worshipers. I trust this helps.

He spoke and prayed to his heavenly Father. He had his own will even when he was a human. He could disobay,he could sin, although he did not. He was saying that he was not doing his own will but the will of his Father. He had divine nature, he was begotten son of God, he was the firstborn of all creation. Meaning - he had the beginning. Amen as you know Is Jesus God?” Below are 10 reasons why Christians believe Jesus is God. 1- The miracles that Jesus performed are extraordinary evidence of the fact that He is God. He healed lepers, Deaf and Blind individuals. 2- Jesus made several claims that could only have been fulfilled if He was God. In Matthew 11:28 3- Is Jesus God? Yes, He is, because He was in existence before the world was created. In John 1:1 4- Jesus possesses attributes that are unique to God. In Job 37:16, Job declares that God has perfect knowledge 5- in Hebrews 1:3, the Bible states that just like God, Jesus sustains all things. Lastly, Jesus, like God the Father, also forgives sin. 6- Jesus Himself claimed to be God In the Bible, Jesus refers to Himself as God. One example is in John 5:18 7- The Bible calls Jesus God Is Jesus God? The Bible refers to Him as God several times. In Isaiah 9:6, Jesus is referred to as a mighty God. In John 1:1, Jesus (The Word) was with God, and was God. In Colossians 1:15, the Bible refers to Jesus as the image of the invisible God. 8- Jesus possesses titles that are unique to God Some of the titles that refer to Jesus and are unique to God include the Lord (Isaiah 43:11), Savior of all the world (John 4:42), Savior from sins (Matthew 1:21), and the First and the Last (Isaiah 40:12). These titles point to the unique character and works of Jesus and God. 9- His resurrection from the dead confirms that He is God The fact that Jesus rose from the dead confirms that He is God because only God has power over sin and death. Romans 1:3-4 10- Jesus refers to Himself as divine In the Bible, Jesus refers to Himself as “I Am”, meaning that He was there before the world began. @@raygsbrelcik5578 What was the nature of Jesus as human? Jesus was God in human form. He was perfect, sinless in every way, like no human being before or after. He was not just good; he was God. Despite the fact that he was tempted in every way just as we are, he did not succumb to human desires, needs or temptations.
You are right, in part though. Jesus, who by Himself had marked the day of His second coming, but did not know it when He was in flesh. But after His resurrection, He knew about it. But all through His life on earth, all that He did were were not of necessity, but they were just a demo, for His children to follow. There is only one God. He was in Heaven performing the office of the Father, on earth, the office of God-Man, and other offices under different "Names." Psalm 139 vividly describes God's omnipresence.
We believe the Son and the Father are different persons, though being the same God. To better understand our belief, take this example: a shamrock has three leaves, and every leaf is different from the others, but every leaf is shamrock and no one would say there are three shamrocks. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be What came to be through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race;b the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. A man named John was sent from God.He came for testimony, to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came to testify to the light. The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world came to be through him, but the world did not know him. He came to what was his own, but his own people did not accept him. But to those who did accept him he gave power to become children of God, to those who believe in his name, who were born not by natural generation nor by human choice nor by a man’s decision but of God. And the Word became flesh, and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth. John testified to him and cried out, saying, “This was he of whom I said, The one who is coming after me ranks ahead of me because he existed before me.’” From his fullness we have all received, grace in place of grace, because while the law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God. The only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, has revealed him" (Jn 1,1-18).

He could chose to follow the ways of the flesh destroy Rome and bring peace and power for Israel Or he could choose to follow the way of the spirit which meant a life of bondage and suffering (which would ultimately allow us heathens to share in the same promise given to the jews) Jesus was unlike any prophet ever created. Why? Because He could choose... He was made immortal and he was not warned by God that he would die. [Like Adam and Eve] He was a lion among his people he was roaming free without restrictions he could do whatever he desired. Placed under extreme temptation, he was thoroughly tested of the devil. We as humans are not immortal we live on fear. Think about that. Imagine having total freedom. Jesus was the only human being who ever lived amongst us who was immortal.
If Jesus is God, and if he died, his death would be like suicide because only God gives life and death. Therefore I reject the idea that God killed himself and this proves Jesus is not God, but someone who submits to the will of God, the creator of all things including life and death
starfinder1234 Jesus is the son of God. He is in the image of the father. He did not sin and is perfect. He rose again from the dead to be the firstborn from among the dead. He is in the image of God and we come to the father through the son, who has promised us the eternal life. Jesus Christ comes from the throne of David, and is the true King, and son of God, not the true God... Matthew 19:27-28 New International Version (NIV) 27 Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?” 28 Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 9. Isaiah 65:17 (NKJV) “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.” 15. 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV) “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
When Christ came in human form, he was tempted and lived as a human. He needed the spirit of God the Father, to help sustain Him through those 33 years. With that spirit, he was able to endure, do miracles and live sinless. He was our example ,He showed us what we could be capable of with God's Spirit; which is given upon repentance, baptism and the laying on of hands. Although the Father and Son are joined in purpose and divinity, they are seperate entities. God the Father, God the Son. God the Father, gave His only son. (Just as fathers and sons are of the same seed, they are separate entities. The son looks to his father. ) Rather basic explanation, but that's how I understand it.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? - John 14:8 kjv
"NO MAN CAN SEE ( Literally) GOD, AND LIVE." EXO.33:20. "NO MAN HATH SEEN GOD ( Literally), NOR CAN HE." 1 JOHN 4:12. Jesus was simply saying....When we see Him, we are seeing the Righteous Character of his FATHER. GOD HIMSELF does not HAVE Eyes, HE does not HAVE ears, HE does not HAVE hands, HE does not HAVE feet.....,Therefore, when we see Christ, we see GOD'S Rep- resentative, Not GODNHimself, my friends.
Just i believe that God is not just seating in heaven watching us.He is not lazy, he can be what he wants to be he is a working God, it is us how we pray to him,how we live our lives how we believe and how we follow what he thought us.
Yes, I remember reading about the Two Natures of God in the book of First Fiction Chapter Two. The Evangelists and first Christians claimed nothing more than the fact that Jesus was the Messsiah/Christ, he Son of God.
Listen to this my friend if you have ever lied by saying anything thats not true if you have ever stolen anything no matter it’s value if you have ever used Gods name in vain to express anger or disgust like “oh my G-O-D” or even “Jesus Christ” (it’s called blasphemy, punishable by death in the old testament. would you ever use your mothers name as a cuss word? i wouldn’t think you would! i would think she toke care of you and fed you, and i would think you don’t use her name as a cuss word because you probably love and respect and honor her! so why would we use the name of God Who gave us our mothers and eyes to see and ears to hear and air in our lungs to live as a cuss word and disrespect and dishonor His Holy name?) and if you have ever just so looked at anyone with lust then you would be a lying, thieving, blaspheming, adulterer at heart in the eyes of God. because Jesus Christ tells us in matthew 5 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a man or woman to lust for them has already committed adultery with them in their heart.” The standards of God's law are very high! He is holy, righteous, and just. We are criminals with God! Because we broke His law. His word tells us in romans 6:23 that the wages or consequences or punishment for our sins is death. that’s why you see everything dying like the grass, flowers, and even humans, because we all have sinned against God! He is an angry judge! The Book of Psalms tells us: “The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity. You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.” and 1 corinthians 6 tells us “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers (slanderers), nor extortioners (swindlerers) will inherit the kingdom of God.” And God himself tells us in revelation 21 that the "cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” So listen to this, if a thief stole a car gets sent to court and the judge asks the thief why he should let him go, the thief says, “judge, look at all the good things I've done! I've fed the homeless, take care of my family, and i donate 20% of my money to children with cancer!” The judge will tell the thief that he is crazy for thinking he will let him go because of his good deeds! because he isn’t judging him for his good deeds, he is only judging him for his crime! so if the judge is a good and just judge he would give the thief justice and send him to prison. in the same way you stand before God Who is much more holy and just than any other judge, and He brings up all of your sins, every empty and idle word you said, every lie you told, all your blasphemies, all your lust in your heart, and everything you ever stolen. and He asks you why He should let you go and not give you justice and judge all of the evil and filthy and sinful things you done against Him, your crimes against His law. and you tell Him “ Lord! Lord! I prayed to you 5 times a day, i wore certain clothes for you, and i never ate certian foods for you, and fasted for you so many times! And I did very good deeds!” God will tell you “I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!” But we all sinned and fell short of the glory of God so where is any hope for any of us? well i have to tell you my friend that our only hope is in Jesus Christ and His blood! because Jesus Christ gave up His throne in heaven to come to earth and live that perfect sinless life that you and me couldn’t live. then He died for you and me on that cross around 2000 years ago, so that our sins would be forgiven and cleansed from all unrighteousness with the holiness and righteousness of His perfect sinless blood. if I'm sent to court and I'm guilty, the judge will send me to jail! Unless someone pays for my crime! It's legal and just even if I'm guilty, I'm free to go if someone pays my fine!, so I'm free! the crime was paid. and this is what the blood of Jesus Christ is for you my friend! to pay for your crimes! to pay off all your debts! to pay the price of your sins. that is why Jesus Christ said, “It is finished” just before He died and 3 days before His resurrection! so on the day of judgement, you can’t get rid of the judgment of God and His wrath for your sins against Him without the blood of Jesus Christ! but with Jesus Christ you will be pure and clean in the sight of God on judgement day, because He wouldn’t see your sins, He would see the price He paid for you by the blood of His Son Jesus Christ and see His righteousness in you instead of your sins. like He says in john 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” But what you have to do is repent, turn away from your sins and turn to Jesus Christ! put your faith and trust in Him and what He did for you on that cross and out of tha empty tomb around 2000 years ago! This is the gospel and the message of Jesus Christ, and this is the true salvation, my friend. You need a savior! You cannot save yourself from your crimes, you need someone to pay for something that you cannot afford. God bless you in the name above every other name, Jesus Christ the righteous. 🙌👑❤️💯😃
@@trustinjesuschrist6933 : Yeah? I've seen the guy on the videos doing this routine with all the people he meets. But he likes to show that people have broken the commandments and how Jesus died for them paying the price etc. Well, if he did pay the price to the judge, what does it matter if people continue to lead a sinful life, the price has been paid, right? But here is my beef. If Jesus died - which he obviously did - who resurrected him? And we are told that Jesus died for us. But with all this divine nature lark, a divine being cannot die. So did he really die ? The divine part of Jesus - the God part did not die for us. BLA BLA BLA. Why not just read what the gospel accounts say. Jesus was executed and God raised him from the dead. God exalted him to the right hand of God etc - All this shows that Jesus was not in fact God , but used by God.
@@ewankerr3011 yeah! ray comfort from living waters right? very blessed by God, hallelujah! and yeah you’re right the bible tells us that the Father raised Jesus Christ from the dead! and you have a great question question: if Jesus Christ was divine then how could He die? God can’t die! well john chapter 1 tells us that God became flesh and toke the seed of abraham which means He was made as a human man. so we know that all flesh has to eat, drink, and sleep. and all flesh can get hurt and can die. so the only way for God to die is for God to become something that can die, like a human man. now i’m not so sure about all this 2 kinds of nature stuff but i think we know from ephesians 4:9 that Jesus Christ’s spirit did not die but He was in the heart of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights, and then rose from the dead. matthew 12:40 but i have no idea what that really means, so whether we understand all of this or not...we still have a price to pay for our sins, and the wages, or consequences, or punishment, or price is death. eternal death in the righteous judgement and anger of God in hell. unless we do what romans 10:9-13 says and repent from our sins and our ways to turn to Jesus Christ instead and put our full faith and trust in Him and what He did for us. i hope this all makes some sense to you my friend!
oops and i forgot to answer your other question, if Jesus paid for our sins already then what does it matter if we continue in sin? the price has already been paid right? well romans chapter 6 tells us: “What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” and a video from “cleveland street preachers” where he talks with a muslim he was asked that same question and he said “you have to believe that Jesus is the Lord of your life you can't just say ‘“oh He died for my sins I believe in Him suddenly I get to go to heaven” because the Bible also says the devil believes in Jesus. when you believe in Jesus it doesn't mean that you just believe He existed historically, it doesn't just mean you believe He is the Son of God. it also means that you believe in Him as the personal Lord of your life and that means you're going to obey Him so if you live in sin and continue to disobey Him you don't really believe in Jesus” i hope this also makes some sense to you friend. the video he said this in was “muslim tries to outsmart preacher round 2” God bless you! 😃💟😄
Basically, Jesus in his human expression, experience get anger, hunger, frustration etc..and in those very human moments, experiences reached out to the first person of the Trinity. Once He was with God after transfiguration we had access to His mediation. After Pentecost we also had access to the third incarnation of God the HS.
Because GOD is Three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. That's truly a Godly Family! ❤️💜💙 It's like a human family, where there is father, mother, and child(ren), and, although they are three separate people, they are 'one family unit'. So, it is with GOD. And, HE designed the human family unit in HIS Image of three Persons.
Father why have you forsaken me? Father is greater than I am? Father take this cup? Jesus is not GOD But the Son of GOD Jesus prayed and cryed to God what you make no sense.
Hey, you up to writing more about Jesus? I have a couple of verses that are very clear on the deity of christ (that he indeed is God manifested in flesh) I thought the same way as you did before, but some verses just started to make me wonder if I was wrong, so I asked with a friend of mine how it really is. And now I'm more certain than ever :D It's just a suggestion. I'm open to other views and lay a great worth on decent conversations
He is 1 with the life of the world everyone and thing works together when he prayed he spoke and when God spoke everything God spoke and speaks is done.
Sorry but this is pure poppycock, Jesus prayed to God but this guy is saying that when he prayed, he wasn't God at the time. This pure tomfoolery. Jesus said, "But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God.” John 8:39-40. This proves that Jesus is not God but a prophet, a man.
So how can the Father still be the God of Christ sitting on the right hand of the Father, himself being God and part of the godhead? (Eph 1:3, 1Pet 1:3, Heb 1:9 KJB, Rev 15:3-4) How can God have a God?
It is a mistake to equate the persons of God the Father and God the Son. Christianity affirms one God in essence revealed in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit - The Trinity. See the following articles… www.equip.org/bible_answers/is-the-trinity-biblical-/ www.equip.org/article/allah-the-trinity-and-divine-love/#christian-books-3 www.equip.org/article/deuteronomy-64-trinity-can-jews-christians-embrace-echad-shema/ Warren Nozaki Researcb
My understanding is....God is the father Jesus is the son....you can have access to God through Jesus his son so when you pray you say Dear God .....and end it with..... In Jesus name..... When you pray to God you have access to him when you ask in Jesus name.....
There is only one GOD , which is the Creator of the Universes. This is GOD the infinite , the alpha and Omega . But GOD in this form , cannot be seen by humans or any creature in the creation. Because the Infinite cannot be perceived by what is finite. What have no form and no End , cannot be seen by something that have a defined size and shape like everything created. So this is Why GOD Do exist.. and is only One ,but .. He exist in at least 3 states at the same time. GOD major 3 states are , 1) GOD The Father Creator ( God infinite) , 2) God the Son Creator (Jesuchrist) 3) GOD the holyspirit. The purpose of the SON and the Holyspirit is to reveal the identity of God the Infinnite. Jesus did it in physical form for a small period of time , while the holyspirit do it in his spiritual form through our hearts forever , whenever we listen. So Jesus was GOD manifestation in the world. The father and son thing is merely a Methaphorical way that Jesus used to explain deep Truths and describe his relation with God. Using terms that people can more understand. but Jesus and GOD are the same thing. Same WILL , Same Power ,Same authority. Jesus was GOD incarnation in the physical finite worlds in the Universe. To teach humanity directly through experience ,the reality of GOD. In the book of Urantia , Who is like a bible in size and the source of the material is alien ,from outhere space , they claim that Jesus was the creator of the Galaxy we are living in. So if their claims are correct . it means the real posibility that GOD the infinite don't do 100% everything and instead like to outsource part of his duties to his owns creations too , like Angels , Archangels and Creators Son and to Aliens too. why not? Everything that exist ,could have never existed , without GOD creating the energy behind its life first at the start.
If really, really God came down to earth to die for our sins, Jesus would have kept repeating his mission among the jews and to the Romans to the extent that there will be no ambiguity in reports and narratives. He was truly mighty and annointed. The world should focus on his teachings not his status before the Creator.
Sorry! Even back in heaven Jesus still worships his God. Revelation 3:2 Become watchful, and strengthen the things remaining that were ready to die, for I have not found your works fully performed before MY GOD.
@@raygsbrelcik5578 : How would Jesus exist in heaven away from earth's environment if he wasn't a spirit being? 1 Corinthians 15:45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living person.” The last Adam became a LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT.
@@tongakhan230 Perhaps you'd better EXAMINE that Scripture a bit CLOSER, my friend! NOTICE; It Specifically STATES: Jesus, "BECAME a Life--Giving Spirit!" It does NOT say he was CREATED a Life--Giving SPIRIT! In Other words... Just like True Followers of Christ----We TOO, will become....SPIRIT! Because, "Flesh and blood cannot inheret the Kingdom of GOD." FURTHERMORE; If YOUR interpretation of 1 COR.15:45, was Correct, we'd have quite a Number of Clear CONTRADICTIONS, my friend, like the Scriptures I Gave you; Especially, PSALM 8:5, And it's N.T. Fulfillment, in HEB. 2:7--9. "You ( GOD) Made him ( Jesus), a little LOWER THAN THE ANGELS..." SO.....What part of, "A little LOWER than the Angels," do you NOT Understand, my friend!?
Was Jesus praying to god when he went to pray?? Or was he checking on his Heavenly kingdom?? When he told his disciples that he was going to pray he wasn’t praying like we all were thought to pray.. he was going to talk to people/spirits.. His Disciples even said that when they went to check on him he was talking to 2-3 different spirits/people.. so was he checking on his heavenly kingdom .. and uniting himself together to keep himself strong ? Whatever the case maybe.. the way we pray is not the right way.. praying is talking to him.. asking him things, healing, telling what’s going on in your life.. etc.. Bowing down on a mat .. o banging your head with something Or sticking something on your forehead, or sacrificial rituals.. and bowing to a wall, or going around in circles around a building and every year that floods with sewage.. this is not how he thought us how to pray! He said don’t do what they do.. better go pray in secret to him.. meaning go talk to him in secret.. don’t do like the others do! I do believe in the trinity 3 in one
@mgbbourgeois8361 Your questions are addressed in the video. Please watch. Note that Christianity teaches God is one ousia (nature or essence) revealed in three hypostases (subjects or persons). The three persons are distinct according to their relationships. Ya know, in my own way i think of myself as a Christian and woman of faith. However, listening to this it is more and more clear how humanity is so incredibly brainwashed.
In John chapter 17, Jesus is praying to His Father(God)…. Jesus, came to earth in human Form, as a man…. to take the place on the cross, in man’s place…. So, Jesus prayed, as a man to His Father, not as God… Jesus, was 100 per cent God… and 100 per cent God…. The God/Man…
Jesus replied, “I have already told you, and you don’t believe me. The proof is the work I do in my Father’s name. 26But you don’t believe me because you are not my sheep. 27My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, 29for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else.d No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. 30The Father and I are one.”
Yes, Jesus was simply saying, he had continually TOLD the Jews, he Was/Is, the, "SON of GOD," not GOD himself! He kept trying to tell them that he was the, "MESSIAH," the One, "Who was to Come." He Delared to have the same GOD and FATHER as you and me.
@@ifecojahs8151 However....You and your wife, are TWO SEPARATE SOUL.....TWO Separate personalities! Search for "The Johannine Comma". There's a whole discussion of centuries about these verses not existing in the original manuscripts. (I'm not arguing, just for knowledge)
Because as well as being God himself while He walked this earth as His Son He wàs also a servant of the Father. God is able to do this because He is God.
@@tongakhan230 no God cannot stop being God. He became His Son so when Jesus was born at that moment He became His Father. Now when the wisemen went to see Jesus what did the scriptures say they saw. Keeping in mind the fact that they worshipped God. The scriptures say they gave him gifts.
@@Margaro-l5m : Come come! Those 'Magi were pagan star worshipers. If they worshiped the baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph would have thrown them out. If the Bible tells us that God never changes, how can someone claim he did? Even Jesus confirmed that God never changes form. He told the Samaritan woman that God is a SPIRIT person (John 4:24). Here is a simple scripture that will help understand that Jesus was never God. 'No man has SEEN God AT ANY TIME.' - 1 John 4:12,20. Jesus was SEEN. Jesus is God's SON. Meaning an ANGEL (cf Job 1:6). Obviously he was not an angel while on earth. That is how they managed to kill him. (Philippians 2:7) No, but he emptied himself (of his angelic spirit form) and took a slave’s form and BECAME HUMAN.

Jesus christ created man in his image as a body soul/conscience and spirit/life as one person. And when you are going to do something, you say to yourself should I go right or left and then you will say to yourself I will go right. Jesus reconciled man's conscience to the divine conscience of God. The Everlasting father is Jesus Christ in bodily form. Conscience can not exist without life and life can not exist without consciousness, and does the work in bodily form. When Jesus christ speaks to the father, He is speaking to The divine conscience that is the wisdom of Jesus christ, and He did this aloud for the benefit of the disciples and not for His benefit. Because God is one person and one God 🙏 ❤
Jesus prays to God because he is a mighty prophet, A messenger from God,he never said I'm God or worship me.. but he said that he can't do nothing without God.
Remember, he was the Logos, the word of God, made into a man. The Word of God "was God and became flesh and dwelt among us..." See John 1. He did receive worship and even Revelation 5 says: "To him who sits on the throne, and unto the Lamb, be blessing and honor, and glory and power forever." Jesus is the "Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world."
that is not true Is Jesus God?” Below are 10 reasons why Christians believe Jesus is God. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit Amen
@@thefaithfulchristian2035 the bible have been changed through time and people wrote their own words saying it's from God as per Christian Bible scholars, for example "Dale Martin" and I can provide multiple contradictions if you want just ask me. Jesus Was the (Messiah) and he was a Special messenger from god because he has no father and god gave him life from his soul. All the bible verses that claim Jesus is god are not clear and he never said clearly "i am god". but there is a lot of clear verses where he said that he is a messenger from God. 1-“My Father is greater than all. (John 10:29) 2-“My Father is greater than I. (John 14:28) 3-John 20: 17 - “Jesus said to her: “Stop clinging to me. For I have not yet ascended to the Father. But be on your way to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and YOUR Father and to my God and YOUR God.’ ‘ NWT Here Jesus clearly said that he is not God and he is going back to the one who sent him. 4- Corinthians 11: 3 - “But I want YOU to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn the head of a woman is the man; in turn the head of the Christ is God. - NWT Matthew 24:36 5-"But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Here Jesus makes a distinction between what he knows and what the Father knows. 6- Matthew 26:39 "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will. Jesus’ will is likewise autonomous from God’s Will. Jesus is seeking acquiescence to God’s will. 7-John 5:30 "By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me." Jesus says, “by myself, I can do nothing. This indicates that Jesus is relying upon his own relationship with God. He is not trying to "please (himself)" but rather is seeking to “please the one who sent (him). 8-‘God is not a man’ (Numbers 23:19) 9- For I am God, and not man ’ (Hosea 11:9) Jesus is called a man many times in the Bible ‘a man who has told you the truth’ (John 8:40) ‘Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.’ (Acts 2:22) ‘He will judge the world in righteousness through a man whom He has appointed’ (Acts 17:31) ‘the man Christ Jesus’ (Tim. 2:5) 10- Jesus spoke to a man who had called him ‘good,’ asking him, ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.’ (Luke 18:19) 11-‘For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me.’ (John 6:38)
so jesus himself doesnt know that he is god? he doesnt conciousness to be a god. so JESUS can easily SWITCH form HUMAN mode GOD mode. or JESUS body just like robot suit. GOD can posses him when HE wants to speak as HUMAN, and Leave him back to Sky, and then "Human Jesus" continue the operation?

@Crusader of the Holy Grail Allah not prayed to mohammad (PBUH) . Allah teach us what to say when we called or mention any prophet name . it could be jesus moses abraham
The Blessed Trinity is fundamental to Christianity. When Jesus prayed to the Father, it is similar to a Son talking to His Father, it never diminished His very nature as GOD (Phil. 2:5-9).
Sons talking to their fathers happen all the time. I've done it most of my life. This can happen because a son and his father are two separate individuals. Philippians 2:9 clearly shows that Jesus cannot be God. Please read it carefully.
: The problem with this argument is that it suggestrs Jesus and his disciples and the first several generations of Christians were heretics since they knew nothing of a Trinity.
You either believe in the Holy Trinity or you don't. When the Bible says God and Christ are one, it is referring to the fact that you will always get the same answer from both, as they are of one mind. Much like two parents who stand united against an unruly child that will go to one parent, then the other to get the answer it wants. And blasphemy against the third in the Trinity, the Holy Ghost, is the only sin that will not be forgiven.
Ok people Jesus is fully God and a Fully man at the same time. God became man so man can become God. Yes this is a major idea we have in Eastern Orthodox Church. See our real version of creed. The Holy Spirt processed from the Father who together with the Father and Son is worshiped and glorified. This is the real wording of this. This creed was made because people where making false statements about the Trinity and the gospels. The fathers came together to write a statement of faith and look at the Church books and see which where inspired by God and which where not. Yes guys WE put the Bible together that all the a Protestant world uses and loves. It did not just fall out of the sky bishops and priests put it together against the use of it by heretical people in 3 century. And yes I have a masters in theology from the Greek seminary in Brookline MA🎉😱❤️🌹🙏🏻
Yes all that is good but lets work on our pride sister and remember the Protestants as you put it are your family in Christ and let's forget about "we" or "I" and let's give glory to whom is due and that's God. It was God who inspired the Bible, The Author and the Finisher. It's God who has been overseeing, guarding and protecting the Bible and using brothers and sisters to put the Canon together. All credit goes to God in Jesus Name. for nothing would be possible without Him.
Read the bible for yourself and pray for understanding too.

1 Timothy 3:16

right
1 Timothy 3:16
(Matthew 20:28) Just as the Son of man came, not to be ministered to, but to minister and TO GIVE HIS LIFE AS A RANSOM in exchange for many.”
Christians never say or believe that Jesus was God. That is what the apostate church came up with. Compare Acts 20:30.
Christians are DISCIPLES of Jesus. Not his worshipers.

Is Jesus God?” Below are 10 reasons why Christians believe Jesus is God.
1- The miracles that Jesus performed are extraordinary evidence of the fact that He is God. He healed lepers, Deaf and Blind individuals.
2- Jesus made several claims that could only have been fulfilled if He was God. In Matthew 11:28
3- Is Jesus God? Yes, He is, because He was in existence before the world was created. In John 1:1
4- Jesus possesses attributes that are unique to God. In Job 37:16, Job declares that God has perfect knowledge
5- in Hebrews 1:3, the Bible states that just like God, Jesus sustains all things. Lastly, Jesus, like God the Father, also forgives sin.
6- Jesus Himself claimed to be God In the Bible, Jesus refers to Himself as God. One example is in John 5:18
7- The Bible calls Jesus God Is Jesus God?
Romans 1:3-4
10- Jesus refers to Himself as divine In the Bible, Jesus refers to Himself as “I Am”, meaning that He was there before the world began.

@Remekie Stevens God came to earth to be man not God
John 1:10
People pray to Jesus because they believe in a trinity. That is to contravene the first commandment of God Which God says "You shall have no gods before Me." Let's apply simple logic. If he is God and you pray to God, then in essence, you pray to him, and have broken no laws. If he is not God and you pray to him as God, then you have broken the first commandment and practice idolatry. So which one would you rather do? Plus, the trinity gospel came out more than 300 years after Christ left. God is one, He is not a trinity.
The 7 ecumenical councils had to cast a vote to decide if they were going to teach that Jesus was God or not.
Respectfully disagree. Please see the following...

Jesus told his disciples to that they must not worship him.He refused to be worshipped as God. So he told them that your God and my God is the same God. Worship God only.

How about this?
Hebrews 1:1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
Hebrews 1:2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.
Hebrews 1:3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the EXACT representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Hebrews 1:4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
Hebrews 1:5 For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father" ? Or again, "I will be his Father, and he will be my Son" ?
Hebrews 1:6 And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, "Let all God’s angels worship him."
Hebrews 1:7 In speaking of the angels he says, "He makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire."
Hebrews 1:8 But about the Son HE says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
Hebrews 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy."
Hebrews 1:10 He also says, "In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
Hebrews 1:11 They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment.
Hebrews 1:12 You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end."
St. John 5:24 "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
St. John 5:25 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.
St. John 5:26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.
St. Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
St. Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
St. Matthew 28:20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Daniel 7:13 "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.
Humanity of Jesus is inferior to Divinity which is Spirit Level. Therefore Humanly God the Father is greater. On the the other hand Jesus Divinity as God the Son is neither younger nor order than God The Father nor The Holy Spirit. As God The Son,He is equal in substance to The Father and Holy Spirit and but remain ONE GOD . SAME SUBSTANCE IN MYSTERY OF HOLY TRINITY - FATHER SON AND HOLY SPIRIT.

If Jesus was God the Father and Holy Spirit, manifest and made visible in a "garment" of human flesh (the human body created in the resemblance of God, therefore a "child" of God), then He had no "need" to pray to Himself. But then, he did so, to teach His followers, "leading by example."
Not sure about the accuracy of that explanation.

It wasn't accurate. He didn't listen to the question. The question was why was Jesus praying in his human form if he himself is supposedly God? Who was he praying to is what the lady asked.
If you read the book of Judas, Jesus said that he wasn't praying to the same God as us. Again, there, who was Jesus praying to?

1 Timothy 3:16
When Jesus was on earth he was the " son of Man". He was limited in his body as son of a man. But in existence as the spirit he is God equal with the Father. So when he is praying to the Father he is praying on the human side.
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the only-begotten, begotten of the Father before all ages. Light of Light; true God of true God; begotten, not made; of one essence with the Father, by whom all things were made; who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and became man. And He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered, and was buried. And the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead; whose Kingdom shall have no end.
If he had no father that doesnt mean he was begotten by God himself , God is Almighty and he can create Anyone or anything without Father , why dont you Consider Adam and Eve as the Son and Daughter of God ? they had no Father nor Mother and God created them out of nothing .
Ali Abbas Adam was created,Jesus was born.
That is the difference
Ali Abbas Adam and Eve were made perfect they were led into temptation
but were not delivered, because they ate the forbidden fruit and they died.
For this reason Jesus died and rose again to free humanity from the bondage and the deception and cunning tricks of the devil.
When God put his seed in Mary. Perfection and imperfection were intermingled.
Jesus came into this world at the crossroads. (Spirit and flesh)
He could of gone one way or the other. He could chose to follow the ways of the flesh destroy Rome and bring peace and power for Israel
Or he could choose to follow the way of the spirit which meant a life of bondage and suffering (which would ultimately allow us heathens to share in the same promise given to the jews) Jesus was unlike any prophet ever created.
Why? Because He could choose...
He was made immortal and he was not warned by God that he would die. [Like Adam and Eve]
He was a lion among his people he was roaming free without restrictions he could do whatever he desired.
Matthew 19:27-28 New International Version (NIV)
27 Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?”
28 Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
9. Isaiah 65:17 (NKJV)
“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.”
15. 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead”
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

I was just thinking about exactly this last night! I assume it has something to do with the Trinity, interested to see what this video says!
Yes, I remember reading about the Two Natures of God in the book of First Fiction Chapter Two. The Evangelists and first Christians claimed nothing more than the fact that Jesus was the Messsiah/Christ, he Son of God.
yeah, you are a real wise ass.
Listen to this my friend
if you have ever lied by saying anything thats not true
if you have ever stolen anything no matter it’s value
if you have ever used Gods name in vain to express anger or disgust like “oh my G-O-D” or even “Jesus Christ” (it’s called blasphemy, punishable by death in the old testament. would you ever use your mothers name as a cuss word? i wouldn’t think you would! i would think she toke care of you and fed you, and i would think you don’t use her name as a cuss word because you probably love and respect and honor her! so why would we use the name of God Who gave us our mothers and eyes to see and ears to hear and air in our lungs to live as a cuss word and disrespect and dishonor His Holy name?)
and if you have ever just so looked at anyone with lust
then you would be a lying, thieving, blaspheming, adulterer at heart in the eyes of God.
because Jesus Christ tells us in matthew 5
“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a man or woman to lust for them has already committed adultery with them in their heart.”
The standards of God's law are very high! You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.” and 1 corinthians 6 tells us
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers (slanderers), nor extortioners (swindlerers) will inherit the kingdom of God.”
And God himself tells us in revelation 21 that the "cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
So listen to this, if a thief stole a car gets sent to court and the judge asks the thief why he should let him go, the thief says, “judge, look at all the good things I've done!
And I did very good deeds!” God will tell you “I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!”
But we all sinned and fell short of the glory of God so where is any hope for any of us? well i have to tell you my friend that our only hope is in Jesus Christ and His blood! because Jesus Christ gave up His throne in heaven to come to earth and live that perfect sinless life that you and me couldn’t live. then He died for you and me on that cross around 2000 years ago, so that our sins would be forgiven and cleansed from all unrighteousness with the holiness and righteousness of His perfect sinless blood. if I'm sent to court and I'm guilty, the judge will send me to jail! No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
But what you have to do is repent, turn away from your sins and turn to Jesus Christ! put your faith and trust in Him and what He did for you on that cross and out of tha empty tomb around 2000 years ago!
God can’t die! well john chapter 1 tells us that God became flesh and toke the seed of abraham which means He was made as a human man. so we know that all flesh has to eat, drink, and sleep. and all flesh can get hurt and can die. so the only way for God to die is for God to become something that can die, like a human man. now i’m not so sure about all this 2 kinds of nature stuff but i think we know from ephesians 4:9 that Jesus Christ’s spirit did not die but He was in the heart of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights, and then rose from the dead. matthew 12:40
but i have no idea what that really means, so whether we understand all of this or not...we still have a price to pay for our sins, and the wages, or consequences, or punishment, or price is death. eternal death in the righteous judgement and anger of God in hell. unless we do what romans 10:9-13 says and repent from our sins and our ways to turn to Jesus Christ instead and put our full faith and trust in Him and what He did for us. i hope this all makes some sense to you my friend!
oops and i forgot to answer your other question, if Jesus paid for our sins already then what does it matter if we continue in sin? the price has already been paid right?
well romans chapter 6 tells us:
“What then?
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
and a video from “cleveland street preachers” where he talks with a muslim he was asked that same question and he said “you have to believe that Jesus is the Lord of your life you can't just say ‘“oh He died for my sins I believe in Him suddenly I get to go to heaven” because the Bible also says the devil believes in Jesus. when you believe in Jesus it doesn't mean that you just believe He existed historically, it doesn't just mean you believe He is the Son of God. it also means that you believe in Him as the personal Lord of your life and that means you're going to obey Him so if you live in sin and continue to disobey Him you don't really believe in Jesus”
i hope this also makes some sense to you friend. the video he said this in was “muslim tries to outsmart preacher round 2” God bless you! 😃💟😄
Basically, Jesus in his human expression, experience get anger, hunger, frustration etc..and in those very human moments, experiences reached out to the first person of the Trinity. Once He was with God after transfiguration we had access to His mediation. After Pentecost we also had access to the third incarnation of God the HS.
Jesus limited himself down to us, to flesh, as a servant so he still needed help from "our" (He was also showing an example) father.

Jesus is the "Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world."
that is not true
Romans 1:3-4
10- Jesus refers to Himself as divine In the Bible, Jesus refers to Himself as “I Am”, meaning that He was there before the world began.

YOU CANT GET MUCH MORE IGNORANT THEN THAT!!
Yeah, he is not perfectly clear at all. But go tell the little wife you've figured it out.
