Thanks a lot Doc! Yeah I changed my style a bit. Thibault and you are doing such a good job with non verbable videos, I had to get a different approach.
45 minutes delay on an end of day ICE seems to be fairly standard with DB. When we travel always put 1 hour as the minimum unlike the DB app recommends!!
Thanks for the video! Just one question, what do you mean by 'cushion'? I imagine it is pillow. Bringing a mattress with you sounds like a bit too much.
OBB nighjet to avoid at all cost how bad their services are, the majority of ppl who experimented their services know exactly what i mean, intra-European flying still the best travelling options agaisnt this disgusting overnight services and ppl shoudn't to spend their money on that but by the way thx for sharing us your expetience look like who was lucky on that one i guess
I never had an issue with ÖBB, but yeah, maybe I'm just a lucky felow. I heard about the horrible things (broken cars, cancelled trains, seating cars instead of sleepers). But in most cases this seems to be an issue between Germany, Switzerland and the Ntherlands
@@Reens-Rails i was unlucky during my last trip from Frankfurt Airport to Amsterdam-Cs because train who was supposed to depart from Frankfurt Airport has been heavily delayed by over 4 hours for unknown reason over 30ppl was all concerned by the disruption not only the train who coming from Vienna and Innsbruck but also the one who coming from Basel and Zurich completely cancelled after 1 hour of delay for unknown reason as well i was obliged to change like the other pax my plan of travelling and waiting until the first morning ICE service turning into a nightmare because that one wasn't able to go on dutch network due to a technical issues Great but honestly i will remember of that day October 22 2023 probably the worst travelling ever that i never had before how disgusting the both company are, i will never experiment the OBB nightjet again and anyway that service it's not suitable for pax who have a important connection with train or worst by plane a connection that i was concerned at Frankfurt in 2023, and anyway on trustpost the quality service about obb is quite bad with rate over 85% when i saw that directly figured out why because i was concerned too and yes honestly about your trip you was very lucky that nothing bad has happened to you during your trip
You are so underrated your videos are amazing
@@germangeogeek thank you so much. This comment made my day.
Thank you so much! I am scared of flying, so this travel is the best for me!
Fantastic video! Thank you!!
good video! i am from the US but i have as of late fallen in love with ÖBB🇦🇹‘s service! One day, i hope to ride it as it looks really cool.
No WiFi. Well the new nightjet is equipped with that, but you’re on a night train. I prefer to sleep or looking out of the window on board :-)
100% agree. But I thought it had to be mentioned.
haha; nice video; i also took this train in mid-december; you focused more on the cabin; i focused more on the shunting action in mannheim

fantstic video! thank you!! I will defenetly try the train
Thank you very much. Enjoy the ride!

We do travel a lot on DB. I calculated 20-30 minutes delay. 45-60 is rare for me on an direct train.
@@Reens-Rails
Well we have to book a Hublift
so it is quite important
that we make connections
Before any sort of travel, I always make sure to have some movies and shows downloaded beforehand.
nice video 😀

Yes, exactly. I mean pillow 😀
2040 EUR???????? 😮
Czy ten pociąg ma wagon dla niepełnosprawnych?
Niestety nie na wszystkich połączeniach.
Musisz to sprawdzić indywidualnie przed swoją podróżą.

PS: Yes, sleeper trains are still only a real option for train nerds. Flying is still better (sadly)
