It was great meeting both of you in Chattanooga. Caitlin, keep your head up. Hard work always pays off in the end and your day will come, most likely sooner than you think. Tiffany - congratulations!!!
First time poster here, long time lurker. Love you guys so much, love Coach Frank and all your videos, you have become my favourite RUclipsrs and your content is always so real and relatable. Races are so variable, the courses, the weather, our body on the day (particularly the female body) there are so many variables that I’m not sure how I get out of bed in the morning! Chicks, your performances were awesome, sometimes it’s just not our day and nutrition on that day is usually the deciding factor on how well it unfolds. Love your honesty and dedication to your training and to each other, glad Tiff has scored a Worlds spot, congratulations! Your day is coming Caitlin, it’s a bitter pill to swallow for sure, don’t beat yourself up, you’re one athletic chick, you’ll get there soon enough! Good work to you both 👏👏👏
Awww, Karen. Thank you for taking time to share these beautiful thoughts. It truly means a lot! We don’t take our performance and finish for granted. Just an opportunity to learn and grow and find the next challenge to put it into practice. As long as we’ve been doing this, we’ve still had so many more great moments than not, and we know that. ☺️ Do you have any races on your calendar this year? Hopefully we will cross paths some day. All the best to you!
Yes, I have HIM Cairns in a couple of weeks, our Winter is starting here in Aus, but it’ll be tropical and humid in Cairns, just out to enjoy a holiday with a race chucked in really. Had a foot injury to overcome which took almost a year, let’s see how it goes! Id love to do a race in the USA, it would be fun to be one of the gang for a day 💪🏻
Super happy for you Tiffany and congrats!! And Caitlin, your moment is coming!! Both of you keep working hard and it will pay off!! Your support of each other is inspiring!!
Thank you, Amy! We know there will always be the ups and downs and moments that will teach us and those that will allow us to grow. Grateful we share it and have each other. Wouldn’t trade it for anything else!
So excited for you, Tiffany! You deserve this. You’re back!!! I’m sorry you’ve been a streak of bad luck lately, Caitlin. I know it’s going to change soon!
Thanks, Colin! It’s been a journey and still more work to do - but it’s incredible to share it with special people! And Finland is the icing on the cake. No doubt Caitlin will be back soon, too. There’s too much good in our realm to not succeed!
Congrats Tiffany.. Caitlin, you'll get your day.. The wheels fell off on the run for me at Gulf Coast 2 weeks earlier.. It happens. You still had a great race. Regroup and get it next time..
Yep! It’s all part of the sport and just one more reason we keep fighting on. Next time will be here soon enough! Do you have anything else on tap this season, Rob?
@@TeamSaundersTri no triathlon races. I’m moving to San Antonio in a couple of weeks, but I will be running Rock-n-Roll San Antonio in December. Next Ironman will be Texas in April.
Yes! A much more reasonable course. The hardest part is probably that it can get warm/hot, especially on the run, but the bike course isn’t as intense as far as climbing is concerned.
Congratulations Tiffany and Caitlin I'm so sorry, it's so hard when 1 person makes the goal & the other misses it by a wee bit, alot of mixed emotions for sure, let yourselves feel them then move on better things coming for you both as a couple.
Wait it shows you finished 55th in your age group??? How did you get a slot? Maybe i am reading the wrong person? But not matter what i enjoyed your video and good luck the rest of the year. I finished my IM career last year . 24 years of racing. 5 konas , 12 70.3 worlds, and 1 IM title. Nothing left left to accomplish . On to playing on the senior golf tour . Your team sounds amazing , i wish i had been on a team like yours, maybe i would still be racing?
Thanks for watching, Gilbert! What a tri career you have had! There were extra Women For Tri slots allocated for this race and a some rolled down. Grateful and fortunate to get the opportunity. All the best in your golf endeavors. And if you ever decide to come back to tri, hit us up!

Thanks for saying hi, James! Hope you enjoyed the day out there. And no doubt, Caitlin will be back with a vengeance.
Great recap. You all did amazing . 🎉
All-in-all, we’re in a good place with our performance. Always happy to get across that finish line.
Tough video to watch , heart breaking….
Congratulations to Tiff !!!!
You are both winners!!!!
Thank you, Tess! 💝 It’s never a perfect journey, but we still get to do this. And Caitlin will find her redemption, we know it!

We'll just consider you honorary TST member for Cairns! Enjoy your race...we'd also love to come to Australia one day as well. Who knows! 😁

Did you do a video on Ironman Texas? May have missed it. Thanks all
Sadly we didn’t make it to The Woodlands this year. We opted to focus on a big weekend of training in Austin. Thanks for asking, though! Did you race?
The only 70.3 I have done is St. George and it was so freaking hard.
Can you girls tell me is Chattanooga easier than St. George? Would you say??

For sure…a few tears, some consolation, and we’re all in a good place now. More to look forward to and this chapter might not be done yet…
was Chattanooga the last qualifier for Finland?
No...there's still a window available...and there IS a race on the plan soon!
@@TeamSaundersTri I'll be cheering for you
