Touchscreen is Great just like a tablet with 10 point multitouch and with a free pen.. Audio Quality is good enough for me.. I didn't even know that this has a backlit keyboard :)
I am seeing that too as orange. I have replaced mine because the webcam was not working. However, when I got the replacement I realized that the replacement laptop has lower color accuracy by just viewing it than the one that came with broken webcam. The calibration did not help. I am not sure if it differ from Laptop to Laptop even with the same model.
I dont usually do professional work on the go or on my couch anyways so color accuracy doesnt really bother me in that respect. If I really need accurate colors I could just connect it to my main monitor and get instant feedback as I work, not as convinient as just having a nice display but for the price its not so bad.
I happened into the same laptop for the same purpose. However, I dropped windows for another OS. I did consider the color limitations. But, if it's really that critical I'm going to proof the project at the printers. The stylus is also better than I had thought it would be. This is working very well as a studio machine.😎
My use case is using this as my on the go machine and it handles blender sculpting/modeling as well as light gaming pretty nicely and in some ways I do rather it over a surface pro due to its ability to dissipate heat. i just bought the i5 model in aus. it did not come with a pen hence im looking at this video lol. i assume u are getting it from jbhifi so try find the same laptop with pen on amazon and match the price with them. if you can't do that then you are looking at an additional $120+ for the active pen 2. so this might help you go for the more expensive model if it has pen. GPU on the i5 is not great, its the Integrated Intel Iris® Xe. you can play some low end games on it but its certainly going to stuggle with 3d rendering, ie GTA. im going to play some jrpg's and crpgs, they are modern and work fine (like disco ellisium). you might be fine with the sims. if the other model has a better gpu (ie NVIDIA) then thats certainly a better option for gaming.

what video editing apps can be downloaded on this laptop?
Hey man, the video is quite nice... But the SSD in this laptop is NVMe and not SATA
It is way better NVME SSD than sata ssd?
Hey Ben. I was planning to purchase that laptop and saw your review. It's really helpful. Thanks. Just have one doubt.. If I connect this laptop to n external monitor with better srgb range, will that show accurate colors while editing photos?
Thanks.
Yes! The monitor will display the color accuracy that the monitor is rated for. It will not project the bad color accuracy of the Lenovo.
So pick up a color accurate monitor, plug it in, and you will have a color accurate editing experience.
Thanks for the review. Very helpfull.
Hey Benji does the flex 5 do gpu acceleration (special effects transitions) in adobe premiere pro?
Is lenovo IdeaPad slim 5's color accuracy better than flex 5?
Finally I watched three videos already and they all say the same thing which has nothing to do with inside and filing somebody post with a graphic says. My kid really wants the oculus and I still don’t know if it’s comparable
Does anybody know if this laptop has palm rejection technology??
Trying to decide between Flex 5i 8gb ram 256gb for $899 AUD or Flex 5 ADM ryzen 5500u 8gb ram 256gb for $1200 AUD. Mostly for school but want to play Sims 4, GTA and other similar games, not all the time but definitely want the option. Which variant is best ?
i just bought the i5 model in aus. it did not come with a pen hence im looking at this video lol. i assume u are getting it from jbhifi so try find the same laptop with pen on amazon and match the price with them. if you can't do that then you are looking at an additional $120+ for the active pen 2. so this might help you go for the more expensive model if it has pen.
Can I run 3ds max in this laptop???
Can I use it for coding ??
Suggest one
