This is the first "Harry's Garage" video that I have ever seen and I'm absolutely amazed that literally every single point that he makes in this video are the same things that I have a thought for years now. The way that the countach really embodies Lamborghini, how a v10 engine is nearly the perfect engine for a Supercar, how colored splitters add such a nice touch to cars...just everything. I really enjoyed the video thoroughly and I'm glad to see that you have many of the same thoughts and opinions that I do. Nice job, keep up the good work.

Your videos always brighten my day Harry and this one is a peach. So nice to hear someone talking about the car as a road car and not waffling on about near the limit nonsense that only journalists on a track ever experience. If I was in the market for a car like this then I'd be heading over to Lamborghini in Edinburgh with my cheque book. Wonderful.

  • @Reznor_Meeks

another breath of fresh air Harry, i think you absolutely nailed the point of the car being setup for general use on the track by a vast variety of skill level journalists, yet some folks absolutely crucifying the car's handling by that one experience. I don't need to mention but 2 very known names drove this car and both complained about the handling as for understeering, which makes me think... did they asked Lamborghini OR setup the car for what they like before concluding the overall experience?! Casual, realistic, knowledgeable with passion for these machines I'll take your word instead of theirs.
cheers to a fantastic channel, don't makes us wait too long for the next one ;)

Harry's garage The car did sound loud (and good!), but I didn't struggle at all to hear what was being said. I was just casually watching this over lunch! This is my new favourite car channel, I'm glad the value was seen for both viewer and content creator to establish it. Not to mention the love of cars all round. Thanks, Joe

Harry, as always, you are a joy to watch, your enthusiasm is obvious to all and that transposes very well to the screen.

I think they missed it Harry. As evidenced by the reaction from my 16 year old son just now. As I was watching he looked from the kitchen and asked, "What's that bright red car?" I told him, "That's what's was awesome when I was a kid." His response, "Well it's still awesome now!"
The Countach will always be the teenage boys perfect wall poster car.

Superbly enthusiastic and informative review. Love the fact that he focuses on the car's road manners rather than the understeer bias which is only really exposed on the track. Difficult sound balance between road/engine noise and speech. A little bit of experimentation with microphone set-ups and it would make what is already an excellent review, perfect.

The first Lambo I've considered owning, and not just 'driving', if you catch my meaning. Now, it's not like I'd take it all over hell's half acre, places say, like Merakesh in Morroco (;>) - I'm not crazy after all - but it really is the prettiest lambo since the Miura and I love the 'kermit green' - it's actually a common, even historically prominent italian motorsport colour - I've no doubt it's why it's on Jay Kay's LaFerrari - not because he's trying to be the utterly bombastic iconoclast rocker, but quite the opposite, yet in a surprising and interesting way. You see it on some Alfas and a few Fiats. If the new Guila doesn't suck I would consider this colour for that car if the custom order was poss. from the factory. When you start considering things in a context slightly larger than this, 'right goddamn now', moment in time and in the story of history, they take on layers of interest, layers of meaning, and beauty itself becomes a much deeper concept. So, this car is beautiful. I'm surprised how beautiful. A very mature design - which, to say about any lambo is.... unexpected.

Great video as ever. I've never been fortunate enough (and probably never will) to drive a Lamborghini, but I've always had the feeling that the Countach and Diablo were the last proper cars. The newer ones under the Audi ownership all look the same to me - I'm not saying that's a bad thing but they just don't excite me as much as the one I had on my wall as a kid

  • @areitu

Usually when new supercars come out, it takes a while for the styling to grow on me, but I was immediately enamored with the Huracan, inside and out. I'm happy to see Lamborghini is compromising less on styling, interior design and quality now. It's an amazing balancing act they're able to pull off, balancing usability/driveability, comfort and the experience of "rawness" people expect from Lamborghinis.

It looks like the absolute business - and the sound!!! I prefer it to the Aventador.
I'm struggling to believe it's a valid DD though, with that awful rearview, and the extremely low seat. The 911 is about as far as you want to go for a DD, I think - and what could possibly be a better DD than a 911 Turbo S?
I mean seriously - what other car challenges it in terms of size, performance, carrying capacity, luggage load, comfort, ease of use, price and badge recognition? The only thing I can think of, is a last gen 911 Turbo!

I think most supercars sort of style themselves up front; the lines needed to bring the nose together always seem sort of obvious. To me the angles that really make the supercar are from the rear, and I think the Huracan nailed that aspect. It looks so intriguing and different, a bit like a Countach or a Mangusta in that respect. I'd call it a styling success overall, even though once we get around the doors it looks a bit domesticated. The front is agreeable, and I like the revision it has received there already.
