Jack's little sister Susie is very annoying and the Secret Seven are furious when she forms her a rival club. But is Susie wicked enough to have stolen their fireworks money?
It is abridged by John Lewis with a 38 minute running time, with the voices of Bonnie Langford, Paul Grunert, Mary Waddington, Summer Strallen, Rowan D'Albert, Lola Brookes, Christian Vassalo, Robert Waiting, Kate Cullinan, Humphrey Waddington, Adam Coleman, Rebecca Griffiths, and Rosie Glossop. The telling is a bit simplified, but the story still develops well for younger children. These shorter dramatizations are ideal for 'reading' in a single sitting and are great for bedtime or car journeys especially with younger kids. Recorded/released by Hodder Children's Audiobooks. This is from a double cassette pack released in 1996, Secret Seven Fireworks was originally recorded and released by Hodder in 1995.
This is shared from a recording of a cassette tape, so lots of old-fashioned tape noises and hiss, but still very listenable and an enjoyable telling for childhood nostalgia or for a new generation of listeners that can make pictures in the mind.
