Love what you’ve done with your NT6 👌. Best performing tire that I’ve used is the JConepts Ruptures for pure rock crawling. Try for a 60/40 front weight bias and if possible get around 30% front overdrive. I know they do overdrive ring and pinion for the trx4 axle but no idea if they’re compatible with the NT6. Have fun experimenting, best part of the hobby 😁
A great wheel tyre combo is 40mm wide 2,2 rims with 1.9 baja pro x tyres with stock proline 2,2 foams. I also run g8 hyrax 1.9 on 2.2 rims bothe are great performers
Hello , beautiful setup, I love your cantilever, can we buy them somewhere? competitions on randomcompetitions are not accessible from Belgium? thanks in advance
put that rear axle brass on the front, lower the front suspension if you can(wouldnt need much) make, make the last axle suspension stiffer. All of this is trying to teeter the front down on climbs. Best of luck mate, loving the vids
Already tried that configuration and it makes woeful to drive, this rig is extremely nose heavy as it is. As for the suspension, I’ve already restricted suspension travel by adding a spring just under the shock pistons. And it works great 😃 Thanks for the suggestion buddy 😎
@@dudleythree3I’ll never get rid of the torque twist, all axles turn the same way unfortunately, the TRX6 has rear axles that turn opposite directions, greatly reducing twist 😃 I could swap rear axles but I don’t really want to do that just yet..
Decent rig. I think the stock tyres are great after a few runs to break them in. Easily comparable to canyon trails. My at6 has weighted wheels and fusion pro 2300 and its a composed climbing beast
I have the fusion 2300 pro in mine, steel wheels (no wheel weights) brass on the outer of the rear axle.. I’m currently siping the stock tyres to do a comparison with the Proline Flat Irons 😃
I'm still interested at the cantilever system, but now i need it for Traxxas trx6.One of the best tires ever are the gmade mt 1904.I used them on my axial umg6x6,it was nearly unstoppable with the stock foams. It seems to me that your truck is a little more top heavy. You can put wheel weighs in the first axle this should help a lot.
NT6 does do well, as for tyres just try a few but looks like you got foams spot on, your getting a lot of tyre spread so foams are working to put as much rubber in contact
Just a little brass on the outside of the middle axle, other than that it’s stock, slightly front bias but without the brass on the middle axle it was too nose heavy
@@TimsRcsurgery ok cool, for your terrain I would recommend pro line super swampers tsl in predator compound with 3d printed inserts of your choice...just make sure that whoever you get them from knows the weight of the crawler so they are not stiff... good luck!
@@TimsRcsurgery I like the Tusk’s aesthetic a touch more but the Rupture out performs it by a hair as a pure crawling tire I think, excellent choice 👌 They’re both phenomenal!
Nt6 looks much better. I have a JT4 and these axles have terrible turning radius. I'd take the brass off the rear and make it as light as possible. Then make the front axle as heavy as possible. Maybe a bit of overdrive in the front. Could also put a rubber band in the front to keep the nose down
It’s actually very front heavy with everything now missing from the rear, I now have all weights off bar the rear axle, I’ve made a few changes and have good day of testing planned soon, stay tuned to see if I can get this thing dialled 😃
@@rdrc4586 there are no more yet really, Gavin has passed the design to another friend of mine that owns a machine shop and is setup better to do a production run. (Lee) has a NT6 on order (hopefully be here during the week) he wants to test fitment and make sure everything that’s needed is readily available, there are extra links needed, tiny bearings and a longer rear shaft is also needed, we need to make sure we get the correct length (still waiting on shafts arriving) That’s pretty much the stage we are at. When I know more I’ll let you lot know 😃
@@bradwright5613 neither do i, if you check out my other videos on this rig you’ll see I try silicone ones (didn’t like them) and have now ended up using Ott Six dual stage inserts… great job😃💪🏼💪🏼
Hi buddy ...something quietly satisfying about watching the crawlers make the climbs....have a good one Tim

oh hell yeah we love the nt6 !! cant wait to geht my emo xl6
Have one on order on pre release 😃😍😍
Im running Injora blue silicone inserts on the rear and reds on the fronts on my Cross RC JT6. I think the blues all the way around may do better. 👍🏾
Blues all the way round on mine, but I went a bit scissor happy and they are now too soft 🤦♂️

Hopefully be able to buy someone 😃
A friend is doing a run at the moment, keep an eye on the channel for more updates
Awesome truck 💪 , great work! 👍
Duratrax deep woods is my tyre of choice great vid👍
I’ll get a look into them 😃 thanks buddy
Pit Bull Rock Beasts with A.L.T. Foams. 6x6 Trail Trucks are pretty amazing i run a Reely Free Men. 2.0 6x6 and love it!
Not the first I’ve heard mention Rock Beasts 😃💪🏼💪🏼
some awesome rc's and impressive steep crawling 👍👍😀😀😎😎

@TimsRcsurgery it will be all in the suspension then. On climbs it's light in the front and twists under torque

I’m just not sure about the centre foams, I think they crumple too easily.. have a few ideas to try this week though 😃

JConcept Tusks with Squid, 3 Brother Anti Foams, or FlubRC inserts or a JConcept Rupture with the same.
They only had 4 JConcept Ruptures in my local HS so I’ve got them to try, I have foams on order so will try them stock first 😃👍

Take that brass of the back.

Another awesome video mate love watching the articulation but did not seem to be your day with the TRX 6 winning that one today
As much as I hate to admit it, the TRX6 just had the edge on those climbs…. 🤯
Only just I think any more updates on the availability of the cantilever set up
