i am a musician, so a bit confused by default..... is there a difference between CWS and WSET L1 certification ? is one recommended over the other ? musicians like me are typically poor, having spent most of their monies on music gear, so Course/Testing price is a factor. (price is NEVER a factor with good gear or good wine, though) !!!!!!!!!! i DO test well, and always study-up.... i love sponging information. Subscribed and notifications on p.s. - i am soon to open a nice Barbaresco, any cheeses you'd recommend ?
@@paultorbert6929 There are also videos describing the differences that you may want to look up. WSET is lesser expensive and more of an actual course. CWS "Here, go study and come back and take a test" This all becoming much more interesting to me... hit me up and maybe we can share!
Who is thinking of taking WSET Level One this year?

I’m signing up to start in FEB, gonna do all the way up to level 3.
Is this how I learn to make wine 🍷 or just understanding wine
very interesting, I've just been boozing for 40 years and I'm pretty sure I can pass this test, thanks for the insight
You're welcome. Cheers 🍷
Great work as always. I got my WSET Level 3 with the help of a certain (ahem) grape explorer. Good luck to everyone starting the program!
Congrats to that

Im new to wine but my family has vineyards i was just raised far from that so I want to learn more and want to work in the industry making wine 🍷
Hope you find the videos helpful
The questions might seem simple but factor in the three bottles that one needs to drink during these courses to be able to pass.
Thx you so much ! for your Video !
where can i get the full questions and answers?
perfect
Is the exam layout an interview style or multiple choice/true or false?
It's a multiple choice examination
I am thinking about it.
I have two more videos to come in this series so I hope it can help support you in your decision.
@@TheGrapeExplorer making a playlist to include them.
is anyone know if they have WSET 1 in wine textbook??
Only if you sign up for the course
@@TheGrapeExplorer can I buy it without signing up for a course? Thank you!
I don't believe you can but if you look on eBay you may find someone selling a copy
Got my Wine L3 in 2019 & was due to take my Spirits L2 in 2020 but still waiting 🙄
Hope it starts up again soon
