You are the best instructor on WSET on RUclips you speaking at the steady pace , is give me so easy to catch & understand I go through couple of times I just enjoy on your video . Thank you so much 👍
Hello Mate, I just wanted to say thank you regarding your video, I pass my WSET 2 (Score 72)with Merit, and you certainly have something to do with it because of your brilliant video....You doing a fantastic job:-)Thank you
I highly recommend that if you have not taken the WSET level 1 certification that you do that first. While you have the option to skip it and go straight to level 2. When I took level 1, online of course, it was created for people who nothing about wine at all. I learned the basics of how grapes grow, how to taste acid and sugar, how to taste tannins, the basic characteristics of common black and white grapes and the very basics of regions (ex: Châteauneuf-du-Pape are red wines with high alcohol, Cava is from Spain etc). I did two wine tasting zia zoom using the WSET level 1 SAT which teaches you to figure out what aromas , the level of sweetness, the level of acid and flavors you get from a wine. Then I learned about food pairings , how to store wine (wish they had included a suggestion guide on what temperature to keep the wine for aging), and how to serve wine.
@@TheGrapeExplorer This series is extremely helpful for me. I’m super nervous about the level 2 because I haven’t even finished learning all about the white grapes yet or the sparkling wines.
Hi! I'm from Russia. There is no such detailed description of WSET 2 in my language. Your video really helps to prepare well for the exam. Good luck to all students.
@@TheGrapeExplorer From the US. I've only heard "botrytized" which I thought would be "botrytised" for Brits. I guess I learned a new word. I'm assuming you spell it "botrycised."
This is awesome! I'm hoping to start my course in late spring so this is right on time. Are these questions pretty close to the style and format of the exam questions?
Great videos. Just wanted to mention a correction- I think you say and spell it as “Longtitude” (you say and spell it with an extra T) … you might want to correct that as ‘longitude’. 😊
All plants need oxygen for cellular respiration, so technically vines need oxygen as well as CO2. Great video nonetheless, you should be hired by WSET to write their questions 😂. Although I must say, my WSET2 exam had a few trickier ones than this 🙂
Thank you so much! I just passed my level 2 exam and your videos helped me a lot. I even re watched it an hour before my exams. Studying for Level 3!!

I’d like to have a wine mentor. Is there the chance you provide 1.1 services online for WSET students ? Thanks and regards :)
