I fixed this problem just by hitting the area where the heat was coming from on the top with the palm of my hand really hard and the fan kicked on really load. Problem solved!

No need to remove the screws under gimbal for removing upper cover. First remove the upper cover and try to move fan gently. It may work and fix the stuck issue.

Heads up to anyone doing this. Some Mavic Air 1 builds do not have screws in the gimbal well. You can still destroy the plastic studs then use a thin rod to push the cover off thru the whole where there's suppose to be a screw.

Hi, how did you destroy the plastic studs?

@@brieucvtich Had the same issue with the lack of screws at the bottom. I just used a small metal drill to remove the studs from the bottom (be carefull though for the gimbal). Worked for me and was able to remove the top shell and unblock the fan.

Hello, I have the same problem as you.
But we tried my fan on another Mavic Air, it worked.
    So what's the problem?

You may need to do a version update , if it is not the problem tack it to the laboratory of DJI or the store that you buy from may thay can help you.
