Heck yeah, great upgrade for the golf cart folks out there. I have a Vatrer 51.2V server rack battery. Big investment for a poor fella like myself but I am nothing but pleased with it and am saving up for another one. I feel all Vatrer batteries are probably just as good as the one i bought. I may try out Vatrer self heating 12.8V battery since I live in freezing cold Canada. Thanks Vatrer for all you do in the LiFePo4 battery world!!

I'm going to replace my Trojan lead acid batteries with lithium which are 6 years old. I'm videoing speed and longevity of my current system and then will repeat with the upgrade during actual golf outings. Everyone does range and speed tests but not actual golf usage. Currently. my cart, a 1997 Club Car DS, will make it 45 holes. It's a fairly level golf course. I am expecting to see a huge difference.

I would have replaced the speed controller, those resistor wire based speed waste a ton of electricity. This would have also made room for the battery in the old compartment.
