I've listened to this podcast over the last several months as a soothing alternative to the national and international news on my 20 minute trip to work. Adam and Maggie's adventures in SoAm have been funny, inspirational, poignant, and informative. I really like this podcast and feel like I've gotten to know a really cool couple that I'd enjoy hanging out and traveling with. Give it a try! Thanks for sharing your trip and "Shadow" with the world.
So I can't get my mom to listen to any podcast, but I've talked about your show with her she sometimes asks how Adam & Maggie (or my friends on that road trip) are doing. I showed her this video & we both loved it! Hope there's more to come & safe travels!
Aww, you guys! I watched this video I guess over a month ago, not even realizing who you guys were. It just popped up on my youtube feed. I've been binge listening to y'all for over a week now, catching up. Thanks for sharing. You're adorable and lovely and I appreciate you guys sharing your trip with everyone.
So cool to see the whole set up! Been listening to the podcast since the beginning and was super excited to see you made a video. Thank you so much for your stories and to allow us all to live vicariously through your adventures!
Great video! We are about to start working on our 88 4Runner for overland travel to Baja and potentially Central America. Thanks for all of the inspiration!
It would be a sensible idea to install a cheap cargo net in between the drivers compartment and the luggage compartment of your car. It could really get dangerous if you had to break fast or were to have an accident. Great video and cool car!
First time listener / caller! I really enjoyed you video and look forward to more. Love that bumper. I've got a Tacoma long bed and was to build out the bed, but trying to figure what we need vs want. Take care and be safe!
Great video guys. I'm looking forward to more. Just listened to "Don't amigo me." Almost caught up now. I've binged the first 24 episodes in the last 2 weeks. I'm excited to continue following along your adventures.
It was great to see the rig and understand your set up a little better. I would love to see more videos (even though Maggie looks so uncomfortable), to know more about what actually goes into the back.
I loved the video because it was fun to see you guys in a more real way. However, one of my favorite things about your podcast is how much fun you guys seem to have and your reparte with one another. Sadly neither of you seems to be having much fun, especially Maggie in the back of the car : )!! 10 points for me!!! I would love to see more videos but would hate to encourage you to do something that wasn't fun for you guys. Love the podcast, hope you love Argentina!!!
Awesome video! If I had to guess, as Maggie requested, when she hated life the most, I would have to say all of it! I especially liked the Vanna white hands when getting into the tent. Overall fantastic! I pictured the drawer system being more intricate, though.
Loved your video! I'm thinking about converting my 4Runner for longer distance trips and you've given me some great ideas. I think I'll stay with my ground tent though: the cost of a rooftop tent is just to high, though it does look comfortable. Very well thought out rig.
Great video guys! Great to finally visualize the rig. Hope you continue to do more videos, and if either of you feel you're in danger just blink "S.O.S Hostage" in Morse code in the next video.
Love your podcast. You guys are the best and I love hearing about your adventures while I'm at work. Makes me want to go camping or hiking on my off days more often. Maybe for video ideas, you can do vlogs or highlights to go along with your podcasts. (Food, hikes, animals, etc)
That's a cool idea! The videos are definitely a TON of work, but thanks to our Patrons on Patreon we'll be doing one a month! A new one is up now. Thanks for listening / sorry to your coworkers about all the poop stories.
You guys are so interesting and i love how well equiped your car is. I admit i havent heard your podcast but im subscribing right after i finish writing this comment! I hope you guys film another video!
How you guys don't have more subs is beyond me...your channel is awesome. I do have one question for you, when you did the roof top tent, how did you mount the forward supports so far up on the roof? Did you use the factory roof rack mounts? I have a 98 SR5 4Runner and my rack mounts dont go past the sun roof.
Thank you for listening / watching! Thanks to our Patrons on Patreon we'll be making one video / month, and up to 2 / month if we hit our next fundraising goal!
Thanks for sharing. Planning to take similar trip. Was rear bumper an issue. What about having a winch n similar bull bar bumper. I heard its illegal in some country. What about car break ins. Any suggestions.
Is your rear suspension modified at all? Seems like a ton of weight without much noticeable sag. My wife and I are shopping for a 3rd gen 4runner currently! Great rig, great video !
Nice Runner, but what about the suspension? With all that weight you gotta have an upgraded suspension, otherwise the handle would be compromised. I would recommend you Old Man Emu.
Dude. That 3rd gen is HEAVY. hi lift jack? I'd be little skeptical on using one with that much weight. With that said. I really like your set up. It seems functional and useful. Good job to both of you! Very nice. Couldn't tell if you have a winch? But I'd invest money into a winch. Th best recovery tool every. Probably make you throw away some of the other recovery tools. Also, seems like you are automatic. I'd invest money into a trans cooler.
Hey guys . New sub here. Great vid. I wonder if you could comment more / provide detail on the aluminum table (I think) with storage beneath. Home made. Purchased where etc?
So, um, you both look like hostages in this video. Like someone is behind the camera pointing a gun at you both. "Now, you're going to act normal and talk about the truck....or I will kill you." Hilarious!!!

Thank you for listening! We have a ton of fun making all this stuff, and it's extra fun when people enjoy it!
So I can't get my mom to listen to any podcast, but I've talked about your show with her she sometimes asks how Adam & Maggie (or my friends on that road trip) are doing. I showed her this video & we both loved it! Hope there's more to come & safe travels!
hahaha tell her we're well, and so pleased that she's a pal of the pod, even if she doesn't actually listen.

Adam didn't know what to do with his hands like Ricky Bobby...LMAO...you guys are awesome!!!
I DIED LAUGHING when I saw this. -m
My girlfriend and I love your podcast! It's fun to see a video of you both and your trusted steed! Can't wait to see more!
Thanks to you and also your girlfriend for listening!
Great video! We are about to start working on our 88 4Runner for overland travel to Baja and potentially Central America. Thanks for all of the inspiration!
I'm commenting because Adam and Maggie should continue making videos. I actually stopped the episode to watch this video
That's the plan! Thanks to our Patrons on Patreon, we'll be making 1/ month!
Paused the podcast to watch the video. Thanks for posting. :)

Ironically, that IS Adam's happy face
Great video, you look like you two have a lot of fun together ! Very entertaining !

John
Hey guys glad I ran into your video because it led me to your podcast. The podcast is great! Keep up the videos too. Thanks
It would be a sensible idea to install a cheap cargo net in between the drivers compartment and the luggage compartment of your car. It could really get dangerous if you had to break fast or were to have an accident. Great video and cool car!
Glad to see your RUclips channel. I've been listening to your podcast the past few months and enjoy your adventures. HappyTravels ⛺️🗺

LOVE LOVE LOVE this. I don't dare let my husband see though, it will definitely give him ideas. Great job. Love the podcast!
We take full responsibility for that.
Love the video Adam and Maggie, the videos are a great idea, the videos compliment the podcast, please keep more coming.
Will do, thanks to our Patrons on Patreon we'll be doing one video / month, and 2 / month if we meet our next Patreon goal!
Great video guys. I'm looking forward to more. Just listened to "Don't amigo me." Almost caught up now. I've binged the first 24 episodes in the last 2 weeks. I'm excited to continue following along your adventures.
ahhhhh Don't Amigo Me! It's like a blast from the past!
It was great to see the rig and understand your set up a little better. I would love to see more videos (even though Maggie looks so uncomfortable), to know more about what actually goes into the back.
Thanks to our Patrons on Patreon we'll be making one video a month!
Omg, so happy to see you guys on RUclips! I really love your podcast and IG. Great first video, I hope to see more. Keep up the awesome work!!
Thank you! And thank you to our Patrons, we'll be making one video a month!

haha, CLOSE but it was IN the tent where I was like, PLEASE KILL ME. Had WAY MORE FUN making the next video, up now!
"I'm not going to set it up right now... takes too much work." The voice and the straight face. Bahaha 😂😂😂
Awesome video! If I had to guess, as Maggie requested, when she hated life the most, I would have to say all of it! I especially liked the Vanna white hands when getting into the tent. Overall fantastic! I pictured the drawer system being more intricate, though.
We have seen WAY MORE intricate drawer systems...
And EXTREMELY CLOSE, but the correct answer was when I was in the tent!
Loved your video! I'm thinking about converting my 4Runner for longer distance trips and you've given me some great ideas. I think I'll stay with my ground tent though: the cost of a rooftop tent is just to high, though it does look comfortable. Very well thought out rig.
Loving it. This video answered many of my technical questions... and generated so many more.
GO ON YOUNG MAN / SWEE-MAT, we'd love to know more of your questions, forever and ever amen.
Great video guys! Great to finally visualize the rig. Hope you continue to do more videos, and if either of you feel you're in danger just blink "S.O.S Hostage" in Morse code in the next video.
I don't know Morse code, but like. I think I got the message across in the next vid ;)
Love your podcast. You guys are the best and I love hearing about your adventures while I'm at work. Makes me want to go camping or hiking on my off days more often. Maybe for video ideas, you can do vlogs or highlights to go along with your podcasts. (Food, hikes, animals, etc)

Loved the video as much as I love the podcast! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!
Thanks for listening, pal! Also, are you a secret agent, it's ok you can tell us

You guys are so interesting and i love how well equiped your car is. I admit i havent heard your podcast but im subscribing right after i finish writing this comment! I hope you guys film another video!
YASSS come on in, the water's just fine.
I just started the podcast & am loving it. Stay safe out there guys!!
Awesome video guys!!
Thanks, chum!
Adam&Maggie, Loved the video! Maggie's least fav part, gotta be snore castle or repacking. Plz, more, more. You two rock!!
DING DING DING! Snore castle was the time!
Though, legit, both answers are prolly correct
Great video, had a Wes Craven feel to it. In a good way(if you aren't a fan).
bc of the hostage sitch? We understand.
New subscriber here. I like the videos , I have never been interested in podcasts , dont think I will ever start. Keep up the RUclips thing.
Love the podcast, love the video! Keep them coming.

Very helpful video and I love the podcast. Thank you, guys!
Thanks for listening / watching / being rad!
Great video. Love to see more!
We want to make one starring YOUR rig!

Did you use the factory roof rack mounts? I have a 98 SR5 4Runner and my rack mounts dont go past the sun roof.
Keep making these! Love the podcast and this is a great visual!
Thanks for listening, friend!
If I may put in my 2 cents, I'd recommend getting a net or something on that back area so you don't have cab floaties flying around on a bumpy trail.
Great Video, Where did you get your rear bumper setup made and how much was it. Thank you
Highly explanatory and interesting
Thank you Isaac!
Love the podcast. Keep the videos coming!
Thank you for listening / watching! Thanks to our Patrons on Patreon we'll be making one video / month, and up to 2 / month if we hit our next fundraising goal!

I am always curious about the roof top tents. How much weight can they support? Or is that predicated on the type of vehicle it is installed on?
Good video, keep them coming 👍
Love you guys!! Very real...great rig!
Nice Runner, but what about the suspension? With all that weight you gotta have an upgraded suspension, otherwise the handle would be compromised. I would recommend you Old Man Emu.
We do have upgraded suspension! OME suspension is basically mandatory with all that extra weight
4 runners rule my runner had 295,600 so safe and reliable love you extras
What rack did you use for the RTT?
Never mind. I found the link in your kitchen vid. Nice bit of kit.
Dude. That 3rd gen is HEAVY. hi lift jack? I'd be little skeptical on using one with that much weight. With that said. I really like your set up. It seems functional and useful. Hey guys . New sub here. Great vid. I wonder if you could comment more / provide detail on the aluminum table (I think) with storage beneath. Home made. Purchased where etc?
Enjoyed the video - so pragmatic! Maggie does seems a bit like a hostage....... Keep it up though - a very enjoyable companion to the podcast.
You get the gold star for BEST COMMENT man. Thanks for being our pal!
I really like your video.. well done
Awesome podcast!! More importantly, where did you guys get your super cool beanies? :-)
THANK YOU FOR ASKING, Tanner Goods! They're fantastic.
Nicee!! I'm learning
Nice
ah bud would it kill u to smile lol
So, um, you both look like hostages in this video. Like someone is behind the camera pointing a gun at you both.
"Now, you're going to act normal and talk about the truck....or I will kill you."
Hilarious!!!
Please, everyone, don't use the Trash-a-roo in bear country, at least for the bear's sake!
of course, luckily no bears where we've been in S. America!
Hi Adam and Maggie. I love the podcast but am commenting to say no to more videos. You just looked so unhappy doing it
hahahah bad news we're making more.
BUT WITH SMILES NEXT TIME, SWEARSIES
