About the momma and baby bird feeding. In Va we have Eastern Bluebirds and the cutest thing we saw was exactly the same thing of feeding the baby birds only it's the papa bluebird who feeds the baby from the mealworm bird feeder. IT IS SO CUTE! It gets really adorable when papa has a baby on each side trying to feed the very hungry babies one at a time. It's possible your baby bird was being fed by the papa too. Anyway, I love this video!

So fun! Loved watching momma feeding her baby. I bet if you just put a nut on the end of your screw you could tighten the hat down well to help secure it better for the birds and in case a wind comes up. 😊

It turned out nicer than I thought, and the house finches Love it. And the poor hummingbirds can barely get near any of the fountains on my deck right now. So the hummingbirds feed in the windows right now, and then takeoff to the garden looking for water there. ❤ Stay cool! Thanks ❤

Instead of a screw or nail to hold down, I would use a zip tie. When you go to clean it, you just snip it off and insert a new one when it’s clean.
    Keep up the good work👍

I made a fountain today. I used the solar disc in water kind. (it was all I could find a a hardware store) I'll have to order the kind you use for my next one. I soldered a hole in a little plastic ball and put a staw coming up so the water could bubble up gently. I just used a plastc flower pot for the water. Hopefully my hummingbird find it soon.

This is a chip and dip tray, and it’s oblong so it doesn’t fit really good on a bucket or something square. But it worked; unless you’re talking about something else and I am not sure what a burger tray is?
