Hey, hello from a fellow Louisiana brush fighter. Try a Beaver Blade for cutting small trees and brush. It has a chainsaw chain sandwiched between two discs, the chain can be sharpened just like you would sharpen your chainsaw and can be replaced when it wears out. Also check this little tidbit out. Get a 50 ft length of cable, I use 3/16, snake it around a mass of scrub and shackle it to itself so it can choke up as it's pulled. Fasten it to a winch, tractor, truck, etc or whatever you have that can pull. Now go to the back of the mass and as someone keeps tension on the cable, start cutting. The cable will pull it into a tight bundle as you cut and they pull. Instant brushpile. And you can exclude trees you want to keep by simply running the cable so that those trees are outside the loop as it's pulled. Hope these suggestions help. Happy clearing!

Highly, HIGHLY recommended to leave the blade guard ON. Particularly on the 345FR (discontinued).

I got myself a faulty one. I own my for nearly 2 years and already been like 5 times in Husqvarna repair shop. Firstly, it had factory faulty caburetor, then the steer mount broke and I had to bolt it on permanently. The shop owner said that if it break again until september, they will change it for a new one.

Dude, that is a BUMMER. Sorry to hear that. I have had good luck with all my Husqvarna equipment, but everybody puts out a bad one now and then.

It has continued to do everything I've asked of it. Which is often more than it was built to do.

@@TheSwampStalker thanks for the review and update, seems like a great machine. I live down on the edge of the Everglades and we’re always having to clear heavy brush. Might pick this up.
