@@InvokedAlbaz however Lair of darkness is good in any deck that runs super polymerization. The lair of Darkness engine is support for dark Fusion decks and any deck that tributes for affect cost. A small layer of Darkness Engine with viruses gives additional routes for breaking and shattering boards. @@InvokedAlbaz you can tribute them for the virus cards or for link summons. However the main reason to run Lair of darkness is because it's effects to make everything on the field dark meaning your opponent's entire board becomes easy super polymerization fodder. While also making your opponents monsters usable as cost for the virus cards allowing you to disrupt your opponent by tributing off their cards in such a way that cannot be interacted with because even if they negate the virus cards they still lose their cards. As I said the lair of Darkness engine is meant to go in any deck that uses fusions especially super polymerization. And synergizes with fiends . It's just another way to build the deck with a better focus on breaking boards rather than setting up negates. Also I just double-checked you can tribute the tokens for Yubel. And if you use the samsara Lotus affect it will cause tokens to be generated during the end phase giving you something to Tribute for yubel. The layer of Darkness Support also synergizes well with the sacred Beast support depending on how much of it you're running. The tokens can also be used as destruction targets to trigger various effects in the deck
what about as a tech option, you put three-eyed ghost that also came in phantom nightmare. when it send to the graveyard, can search lvl 10 dark mosnter( spirit of yubel, yubel )
I'm working on a branded yubel setup. I don't like how the deck can get stuck with yubel and nothing to attack with, and nothing to beat yubel against.
@@7thHourFilms yeah exactly cause aside from opponents monsters nibiru's kinda the only one in your own deck to help you deal damage so with geist grinder golem you'll have another card for damage plus as you said mature chronicle would be very helpful since you'll prob summon yubel alot which is great for that spell lol
Im thinkin of building a yubel deck for locals, do you believe it generally has a slight chance again the current meta of snake eyes, branded despia and labirinth
Would consider adding djinn buster to extra deck. While won't be able to make it as consistently until we get the field spell next set, you can make it easily with the 2 beast to stop nibiru before you commit to playing
So I guess I'm confused, does dark beckoning beast allow you to summon yubel/spirit of yubel without tributes? I know the effect states you can normal summon a 0 atk and 0 def monster but wouldn't they need to be tributed?
Not yet, none of the new Yubel support is in Master Duel, and neither is the Unchained support. These Yubel cards effectively just came out in the TCG, so it'll probably be some time before Master Duel gets them.
@@DarkArmedDuelist wait a minute, didn't Yubel get more support cards like, recently? As in a few weeks ago or so? Cause I remember seeing a new version of the Grinder Golem, and that Grave mummy monster Yubel used in the anime.
Okay, this deck is just way too expensive to run, especially with the Extra Deck. Just getting two copies of Loving Defender Yubel is already pretty pricey for $20 each. Ty-phon can cost around $40 (though this card can also be around $30). Lord of Yama is easily another $20, so already that's at least $100 in the Extra Deck alone ($120 if you go for an extra copy of Loving Defender). That's not even getting into the main deck, though thankfully most of those cards are relatively cheap (that said, it will still be pricey, especially if you get them all at once). I'm making a Yubel deck myself and I've had to drop at least $100 (and I haven't even gotten any of the usual hand traps since I don't play competitive) to get the cards to compose my deck, and it only includes one copy of Loving Defender because of just how pricey it is. In terms of overall price, if you need to get all the cards (including hand-traps) in this video, you're definitely dropping at least $200 just to make one deck. Yeah, no thanks. This is why for my deck I just added some Neos support with Kluger since its much more affordable. Sure, Kluger and Wiseman aren't insane in terms of effects, but they're decent options that also fit the deck's archetype.
@@DarkArmedDuelist what about putting 2 "The gates of the Dark World" in it. I personally think it can be a good consistency support while waiting for the other supports

HELL YEAH!!! Been waiting for this one, LET’S GOOOO!!!
Would love to see a lair of darkness variant
Yeahhh I love when you can use multiple variations of one deck
It doesn’t work with Yubel. Lair doesn’t use your opponent’s monsters to use for Yubel’s effect nor their support’s effects.

I'm curious to see where this archetype ends up falling, whether it becomes a rogue contender or doesn't really break through.
I do love how works amazing with dark nerco fear

This looks very similar to the version that got top cut at a Regional
New field spell and Grave Squirmer are strong, I’m just waiting for them to come out lol
Ikr!! I can wait for wave 2!
I can't wait until battles of legend chapter 1 comes out so i can finally get the og yubel cards.
yo just thought i'd ask wouldn't adding geist grinder golem to the deck also help with the deck or what?
That and Mature Chronicle. General good support plus a search for Super Poly. Why would you not?

Could you do a dragon link or dragon Unity deck profile please. I would also like to know which of the three is the better deck

Yubel has been dominating Snake Eyes at my locals especially when they aren't prepared to side against it.

Interesting idea, I like it.
Great to see Yubel finally getting a proper deck. 😄
Do you reckon a Yubel/Sacred Beast hybrid deck would work?
I’d love to see a deck profile for that
Can you do a deck with neos and yubel
How about lair of darkness to make the dark fusions more consistant
AWESOME AND FINALLY!!!!!
Now THIS is the Yubel deck that everyone needed :)
Thanks! Always love your comments!

Man, You needed Gustav Max here for the OTK
Not competitive but would like to see a hero yubel deck profile.

Please put damage condenser in this deck

Honestly i probably replace dracostapelia and knightmare phoenix by IP mascarena and SP little knight
That would probably be the better idea but not everyone has easy access to SP: Little Overpriced
I like to see a neos/yubel fusion deck
Same here. Especially with Neos Kluger
Funny you say that as I'm actually making one right now.
Can this deck be recreated in master duel?
