Could of been relocated to a family farm as a pet or to a zoo.
They don't know whether Penny would have survived or not. House cats can go outside and survive. I've seen it myself but all of the experts may tell you that the cat would starve. Animals are capable of more than the experts think.
That sucks
Had the same stupid situation in our West Coast city because of human feeders. Created a dangerous situation for months, but aggressive turkey was finally removed.
I don't know what to do anymore with our wild turkey Gladys 😕 😫 She's attacking me everyday 😢 and I have no clue who is feeding her around here, or why's she here for over a year now, but I just ignored her. And hoped she'd find her family. But she's lonely, angry and very aggressive now
He was funny and was always very sweet with me. I miss him💕
