The fucking tension my God. You can see the brief shock in Suzaku’s eyes as Lelouch’s face is revealed only for it to turn cold and hateful again. You can see the anguish on lelouch’s face as suzaku tells him he doesn’t even belong in this world basically telling Lelouch that he doesn’t even have the right to try and change the world and so after all the blood that Lelouch has had to shed to get to that point , even his first love through no fault of his own, he let his emotions overcome him and for an instant even forgets about nunally in order to at the very least hurt suzaku. I think that Suzaku’s words struck a nerve with in the the same way that the emperor does. Sigh I love this show😭😭😭

I don't understand why Kallen is so bothered with Lulu being Zero. Kirihara already told them that Zero isn't japanese and yet she acted like she didn't know about that.
Because Lelouch and Zero being the same is a huge disconnect to her. She can't come to terms that Zero, the man of miracles, the man of action, the man she idolizes, loves. The one who has given the entirety of Japan hope that they can be free again and Lelouch Lamperouge, the weak, lazy student council president, who is perfectly fine bowing his head to Britannia and doing absolutely nothing about the injustice he sees are one and the same person. It's like seeing a little kid and then watching that same kid beat the weight lifting world record. Anybody would be in utter shock and disbelief how that could be. Of course the problem is that Kallen was too blind to decipher Lelouch's words back in the refrain episode. When he stopped the Britannian's from bullying the foodsalesman and she asked him why it was better not to interfere. He told her that keeping ones head down was better because anything else would just create more problems, implicitly saying that he too had a situation in which it was more advantageous to bow his head thant to draw attention to himself. It even goes further when she asks him what "Lelouch Lamperouge" would do about the injustice in the world, that he is very much aware of and he responds "Nothing." but the question that's never answered is what Lelouch vi Britannia or even Zero want to do about this.
Kallen attempted to save him but was reminded of Suzaku that he used the Japanese and why would someone like him be worth serving? In addition she heard Suzaku mention the truth behind the SAZ massacre by Euphemia which wasn't her doing but Geass that served as a plausible reason to push her to betraying Lelouch since he admitted that he used the Japanese and was attempting to kill both her and Suzaku with the Sakuradite mine as a threat. Using the Japanese and slaughtering them despite being a mistake did paint Lelouch as a culprit in front of Kallen's eye while at the same time he lied to her the whole time as another important factor. Yeah being Lelouch as Zero did devastate her since Ohgi told her that he is the one that will bring Naoto's dream to fruition but could not bring herself to accept the crimes that he committed as well as his identity that served as a confusion. Personally Zero's identity no longer mattered at this point but at the same time Lelouch had no way to convince Kallen due to what happened and would only get worse if he did tell her just like if he were to tell Suzaku. This differentiate Zero from Lelouch as a starting point since Zero is the symbol of the Japanese and later as a whole.
@@MrBas-cu7dt My thoughts exactly, I understand why she would be surprised but falling to the ground and crying makes literally no sense. And what Lelouch said is right, why does she care about Lelouch's true motives if Japan gets liberated in the process?
