- Copy below into a notepad, ensure there are no spaces at the beginning or end. Save into notepad onto desktop as the following name WITH quotation marks "hosts"

Locate this directory -
My Computer, Local Disc, Windows, System32, Drivers, Etc.
Rename current 'Hosts' file - 'hosts.old'
Now copy and paste the new file into here.
This should solve the log in problem. Please like and comment if this works as it helps others find the solution.

Just updated serato sample to 2.0 and was having this problem and this immediately took me to the serato log in. Just leaving a comment for those that may be coming for the same issue.

Hey, I'm new to this - The info to copy and paste into notepad (above) is different than what you show in your video tutorial since the # sign precedes what is in the description (in your video). Does that detail matter? If so, which version should you copy and paste into the notepad to place in the "hosts" file?
Hello! Thanks for pointing that out I didn’t notice. I have tried to amend it but RUclips automatically removes the first hashtag as it thinks I am trying to tag something! It doesn’t matter as all the other info is there but add a hashtag before ‘copyright’ with a space. Like so, although RUclips may remove it again..

Hey, it lets me log in now - but now I get "streaming server could not be reached - eject track and load again. Do you have any suggestions for this? I'm assuming you ran into this perhaps as well? Thanks!!
I’ve never run into this problem as I only use WAV/MP3 files I own and don’t use the streaming options. Do you have the latest version of Serato installed? Worth uninstalling and reinstalling the software, untick and retick the ‘streaming’ tickbox in settings. If that doesn’t work, try connecting through a VPN.

Yo this sounds like a pain in the neck and not worth it if the company can't fix the problem. If u can't even log in then they are stealing from u. Period, I don't care how potentially great their products are. If u can't log in to get access that is a them problem.
This is true! I got pro free with a controller I bought to me it was worth it but yeah if I was paying a monthly subscription I would be out. Also this problem is occurring all the time since I see it in Reddit/other RUclips channels. I sent the instructions on this to serato and they definitely even acknowledge this workaround to fix it 🤷🏻♂️
